Kevin and his team did an excellent job with our TREX deck. I was NOT disappointed - from start to finish Kevin and the team we're incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and answered every question I had. We did not have much knowledge about decks and Kevin was able to give us plenty of information and help us make the right choice. Additionally, I am very particular and want things to be done in a certain way - Kevin dealt with all of my constant questions and was even able to make a small change on the day of construction (added white trim which I forgot to mention I wanted on a certain base) - they were able to integrate that seamlessly. Kevin brought the "rolling showroom" to our house to give us samples and then invited us into the larger showroom to see more options and larger samples - this was very helpful as we were undecided on color and was able to make up our mind after going to the in house warehouse. As for timing and cleanliness - the team got the entire job (demolish the old and rebuild the new deck) finished in 2.5 days. And they did the job incredibly clean and I have zero complaints at all. In terms of price, decks can be expensive especially for TREX, but as far as I can tell Kevin and his team were pretty much right on market in terms of pricing so I have no complaints there. You might be able to find someone to do it slightly cheaper but I found the work and quality more than justified the price and the standard market rates. Overall, I would recommend Bluestar in a heartbeat. Kevin is knowledgeable, friendly, works with you, clean, on market pricing, and efficient. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for deck work to be done.

He also makes commitments to provide more proposals for additional work outside of the decking profession and then falls short because he says his time is very limited. Or possibly it's not enough money involved to interest him. Once he's made the sale and collected his money, he has no regard for any of his customers concerns and actually becomes very arrogant and defensive.
