The stress was overwhelming, Overpriced and the conversations were always void of details. We abandoned the project and went on vacation instead! Fast fwd 2 yrs, I finally found Royal kitchens and Bath from the internet. The reviews were all I had to go by (all genuine and positive) and then we met Robert and his lovely wife and our search was over! There wasn't any hesitation, reasonable priced, good communication and patient listeners. Robert's a straight shooter, doesn't promise anything he cant deliver and confident in all he can do. We were blown away how fast and meticulous Robert and his crew were, they installed cabinets, countertops and backsplash, ran new elect lines; replaced 1/ wall in a wk and 1/2! Multiple workers working list a well oiled machine and Oscar, what can we say but OUTSTANDING! The cleanest, most meticulous worker, he was a pleasure to speak with and watch. They were on time every day, Robert visits the work site many times over the course of each day, the crew is clean, skilled & professional and a week later we are in LOVE with our new kitchen! It was a dream job, no glitches and if anything did popped up, it was quickly addressed and remedied. Our friends and family are in awe and we can't stop staring at the gorgeous outcome! So much thanks Robert and crew, smiling everyday! Seriously, everyday :)))

I really can't say enough good things about this company…read more I found them here on yelp and was a bit skeptical at first because they had only a handful of reviews, however, they had all positive things to say so I decided to reach out. From the beginning they responded quickly. Alena is who I worked with directly in terms of the design of our cabinetry .. she came to our home and was very friendly. She measured and double checked her measurements, suggested ideas and worked with me on what I was looking for- we went back and forth via email for a few different design options and was always quick to respond when I had a question or concern (which was often because I'm a worry wart) Has something ever seemed too good to be true so you are just waiting for the "bad news" to hit? That's how I felt- everything was going too smoothly- too easily and too right to be reality. I have delt with other companies and that's always my experience- if the start is great the product is terrible or the install- always a little something- but not here! I can honestly say I'm shocked. They were fairly priced- quick & easy to work with the entire process. Down to the installation- I am thrilled with the resulting product, quality & professionalism from start to finish. I have been and will continue to recommend this company- I am also now on a search for more projects because they left my home more functional and more beautiful than it was and I want them to somehow touch every room in my house! Seriously, I can't thank them enough & once the room is finished I will gladly post the picture- I just don't want the surrounding to distract from the beauty of their work :)

We wanted them refinished in a new stain color. Multiple other contractors told us this would not be possible and were pushing us to just paint them, which we did not want to do, or even just replace them with new cabinets, which was out of budget. Bob came in and saved the day, making what we wanted to accomplish seem like no big deal and just another standard project for him! He worked with our budget, professionally stripping down all the cabinets and staining them a custom color he created for our vision. Irwin Contracting. Hands down, the best general contracting…read morefirm on Long Island! Irwin Contracting (671 Old Willets Path, Hauppauge ) did a total remodel of my childhood home in Long Beach, NY, while I was living 3000 miles away in CA--and they did it perfectly. Amazingly perfect! I emailed photos of bathrooms that I thought would work, rather than generic bathrooms. Irwin Contracting nailed it. Now I can barely tell which bathroom photos are from houzz, and which are the actual bathroom photos taken in my house. Irwin also removed all the carpeting and refinished, when possible, the original hardwood floors. When the original wood couldn't be salvaged, they matched new red oak beautifully. They also did an entire kitchen makeover, all windows, doors, and added crown molding. They replaced all the slate hardscape with beautiful blue stone, and did great patio restorations and added a much needed AC system. They are awesome to work with and completed the renovation within our budget and in the time frame they quoted. They have been here for us well after our renovation was completed. If you need any construction work--big or small--look no further! Irwin! Thank you JC Irwin and company! 5 stars, for sure! Wish I could give 6.
