They were very thorough and did an amazing clean up job! Looking forward to a more energy efficient home and comfort during future winter seasons.

I did a really deep dive before hiring them... comparing every ConEd approved contractor to see who had the best reviews, BBB ratings, etc and GHL had the highest marks everywhere. I spoke with Geoff initially, who is very helpful with getting us set in the right direction and he squeezed us in for an energy audit in a reasonable amount of time. Got the energy audit done with Jon, which was really interesting and gave me a full picture of the limitations of my home, but then also the places where we could make vast improvements. Jon is great by the way and took a bunch of time with us to answer our questions (we had a lot). They ended up doing blown in fiberglass insulation in the crawlspace below the roof. They scheduled this in a timely fashion, showed up right on time, finished quickly and cleaned up to our tenant's satisfaction. The installers were very polite, helpful and professional. Since I wasn't about to squeeze in that tiny crawlspace, they took plenty of photos of the work to let me know how it looked. Based on some rough estimates from my smart thermostat, we now run our boiler 25% less than before insulation. Keep in mind, that's just with insulating the crawlspace. If you're able to do your walls too, I'd assume these numbers could go even higher, but we couldn't. After rebates from ConEd and the IRA it virtually cost us nothing. As long as the rebates are in place, I'll likely bring them back every year to insulate something else. It's really a no brainer, especially with this company which is run like the Navy.

I used JC Home care for insulation in my home and my initial experience was very good!…read moreI had them come back as I could feel a draft and noticed a significant temperature difference. They came with a laser temperature gun and the representative said there definitely was a temperature difference and they scheduled an appointment to have insulation reinstalled. As time went on I noted the same issue in my living room. I reached out to the company and was told it was too warm and I had to wait for winter so they can get a better temperature reading. I called when winter came and was told it was my Windows? They are brand new windows!!!! I tried the next year and same excuse but I was never able to speak to someone beyond the receptionist! I filled out the contact info for an estimate , and explained my situation. No response. Last year the winter was mild and figured they give another excuse. This year 2025/26 temperatures are extremely low temperatures 10° and below with real feels in the negative. again I reached out left a message AND reached out over their website! They claimed they offer a lifetime warranty if the bay fails but then gaslight you into thinking it's something else. I went out and bought my own temp gun! The original representative said that they needed to be a 3° difference from an interior wall and the exterior wall and if it was beyond a 3° difference, then the wall failed and needed to be refilled. As of today Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 8pm the temperature is 9°F with a real feel of -6°F this weekend is supposed to feel like -12°F Using my temperature gun I got an internal wall temperature of 72° and 70° as it gets closer to the front wall . My front wall is reading 60°F. In a few bays. The middle base are reading 68°F and the farm bay is reading 67°F, which is within an acceptable range from the 70° however the 60°F Bay is 10° colder.. It took me a few years to finally write this review with my frustration, but I don't recommend this company to anyone

Ron worked with me to greatly increase the insulation over my ceiling (the attic's floor), seal any air flow gaps, and up the air flow around my A/C's air handler in my attic (keeping it cooler and hopefully more efficient and cheaper to run in the hot months). We worked together to get a price I could afford, and understand what would be done. Then in a single day his crew came in and did the whole job, faster than the 2-day estimate. Everyone in his crew was nice, friendly and informative. Plus everyone spoke English, so asking a quick question of whoever was nearby was also easy. They left no mess after all their hard work. My home feels much cozier now. I like to sleep in a cool bedroom, and now that my home noticeably cools down much more slowly this winter, I've started turning down the heat down 1.5 hours earlier than I used to (that'll save big bucks, I'm sure). Also, the noise made by my attic fan is much quieter than it used to be and is barely audible now, due to the extra insulation. Additionally, Energy Haus processed all the paperwork needed to take advantage of any NY State energy rebate or cost reduction programs. Thanks, Ron!

I'd love to give them more stars, but I have to take them away due to some very memorable problems related to the insulation job they did for me. First the good. On the sides of the house, they did an excellent job of carefully removing my old asbestos shingles, cutting circular openings to fill the walls with blow-in insulation, then plugged them up and put back the shingles like they were never there. When they did the attic, they left me an access panel, per my request, so I could get up there with a ladder for any future repair needs after the job was done. Their work was efficient and clean. So what reason do I have to take way stars? Well... read the rest. Remember the access panel? After they finished the work and were paid, I went up and checked the attic. Instead of 10-12 inches of insulation, I found only 4-5 inches. As I recall, the inspector from Brooklyn Union loan program did reduce their payment due inadequate attic insulation (which is probably why I checked myself), but I was still left with less insulation than promised. Also one more event led to reduced stars. Just after he was paid, the owner pointed out in front of me and his crew that one of my downspouts was the original 100 year-old copper downspout, repeatedly expressing amazement that no one had stolen it. That same night, the copper downspout was ripped out, doing a few hundred dollars of damage to the wooden gutters above. It is impossible to know who took the copper downspout, but it is reasonable to conclude that the company's owner showed poor judgement in pointing out to others an expensive copper downspout and announcing how easy it would be to steal. Again, I mentioned their strengths in the first paragraph and everything may go much better for you, but given the outcome for me, I can only give one star.

My reason for bringing Triple H in was the 3 bedrooms we use that myself and my children sleep in…read morewere freezing at night. I knew the insulation in my attic was a mess and antiquated as my house was built around 1970(average for Long Island). One of my children's bedroom is over my two car garage and I had no idea what type(if any) of insulation was in the ceiling of the garage, under my daughters bedroom. My home is a splanch so I also have a half bathroom in the rear of the house, off the kitchen which was also always very cold but less worrisome since nobody slept in it. Chris and Kyle came in to do an audit, they are were professional, honest and efficient . They quickly identified the spots I mentioned and found even more spots where they can make a huge difference. We sat down and went over the options financially, how long it would take, if there would be holes in the Sheetrock etc. There was never any pressure and they answered all our questions professionally. He assured us that beside the garage, there would be no holes anywhere (in the garage they would spackle all the holes so all I had to do was touch up )and all the rest of the work would be from the outside and the attic. I have twin 2.5 year olds so timing was important, they promised me it would take 2 days max and they would even do one day on a Saturday to help us out. Install day came and they delivered everything they promised, and more! Their crew was professional, timely, efficient and left the place as clean as it was when they entered. To top it off, Chris and Kyle sent two crews to my house so they were able to get the job done in 1 full day. Chris and Kyle also personally stopped by to make sure the job was going smoothly. We then could not wait to see if we would "feel the difference". It took one night for us to discover the result was even better then we imagined. My master bedroom, which I had spent the prior 3 years(since I owned the house) freezing in at night in the winter, was actually so warm that I woke up in the middle of the night sweating and had to remove my shirt. Since then, my wife and I have been running the ceiling fan all night (even when It was 3 degrees outside with the windchill). We were used to going into my daughters room when she woke up, and feeling the cold. On most nights the thermometer in her room would read 63/64degrees, even though the thermostat in the hallway was set at and reading 70 degrees. Well we opened the door and couldn't believe it, it was warm!!!!! The thermometer was actually reading 72 degrees. We truly recommend Chris, Kyle and everybody at Triple H. They did an amazing job and highly recommend them!
