So I was pleasantly surprised to find this place so close. Plenty of parking so you don't need to worry about finding a space, and you can't miss their logo. They're open everyday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., so you better go check them out. I went in and was pleasantly greeted, the lady behind the counter who I'm pretty sure was. The co-owner, was very friendly, informative and told me everything I needed to know about the hot dogs that they made. Them menu can be a little overwhelming, but I'm telling you what, there is not anything on the menu that I would skip. Today. Skip. Today I chose the Windy City hot dog as well as the Savage. I was mostly intrigued about the Savage as it is a bacon wrapped hot dog with grilled onions, and crumbled blue cheese. Are you freaking kidding me??? This is going to be amazing. I got them to go, got home pleasantly surprised to find everything. Still warm, and dug inn. Honest, these are some of the best hot dogs I have ever had. Now I have had hot dogs from Coast to Coast, one of my favorites being on the streets of New York City from a hot dog vendor, and I have to tell you that this hot dog was right up there. With that. The hot dog casing had some snap to it, the bacon was cooked perfectly. Cooked perfectly. The bun was super soft. All the makings of a great hot dog! The fries are really good, make sure you order them extra crispy because they are big french fries. And don't sleep on the dipping sauce! Although a tad pricey at $0.95 for a small container, it is definitely well worth it at from a flavor standpoint. Bottom line? You can rest assured that I will be visiting this place again, as there are so many wonderful things to try on the menu. If you are in the mood for a hot dog you can do no better than checking this place out!
