On my latest visit we arrived just in time for Saturday night jazz (9pm-11pm $10 cover charge per guest). Unfortunately there was a mixup with the jazz artist scheduled to perform that night, through no fault of the restaurant, and the entertainment started about an hour late. However once the show started and the lighting dimmed, it added a different vibe to the entire restaurant that both the diners and employees thoroughly enjoyed. It definitely left you yearning for more. There was also a halibut dish that we've had on a past visit that was the size of my palm with no sides or salad to accompany it. Other than that, Austin's is a must. From the ambiance, to the thoughtful presentation and flavor of the food and drinks, as well as the exceptional service.
