This is NOT true... I needed them to come out and not just unclog a drain preventing the toilet from flushing, but also tell me what caused the clog and fix it. The plumber came out and ran an auger from the mainline outside to under the house. He said he cleared the clog. I asked him how much, assuming it must not be more than the diag fee, he charged me $200. I called the next day for 2 reasons. One, asking about what happened to the diag fee and getting told the quote first, and two, my drain was clogged again! I had to walk the person, over the phone wear on their website where it states their pricing because she outright did not believe me. After finally seeing it herself her response was, "Oh, that hasn't been updated". I stated that since unclogging the drain did not fix the issue I wanted them to not only unclog it again, but run a camera down there and tell me why. If it was roots, I asked if they could cut them. I was told he didn't have a saw/blade attachment. What plumber does not have the tools to do their job?!? They get 2 stars for coming out the next day and not charging me again, took about an hour on the phone to convince them I wasn't pleased. He unclogged it, said it looked like roots, and left. Two months later I have the same problem again after augering it myself and running 3 chemical root killers... Now I have to find a new "trustworthy plumber", if one exists nearby... By the way, as of 3 months later, their website has still not been updated, and they have a trip fee, but no diag fee, and won't tell you the cost until finished.

I received notification immediately from Clear and Present Plumbing, and began messaging back in forth with David, the owner. He was very professional and thoughtful in his communication, and patient with my barrage of questions. I did receive other communication from some other local, and nationally recognized companies, while speaking with David, but their responses felt generic and not as genuine. I mentioned to David that several of my neighbors had used his services before, and mentioned the company on our Facebook neighborhood page, so I felt very comfortable doing business with them based off of that. We agreed on the time it would be done, and the set cost of the services. The pricing was extremely competitive, especially since I was receiving "after hours" service. David offered me several payment and financing options, as well, which was refreshing. I was advised that his licensed plumber Travis, would be reaching out to me at a specific time frame, on Saturday. Travis contacted me ahead of schedule and advised me he was on the way to complete my project. Travis arrived with a clean work vehicle, uniform, and positive attitude. He completed the work quickly, with competency and respect for my property. He tested that everything was working properly, and cleaned up after himself. Ruben is the only person that took the time to walk through the problem, scope the drains as well as snaked out to clean the drains... verses just doing minimal needed to get water flowing again and charge $300. He found the culprit (short story - it was a 22 year old sponge) and managed to knock it lose pushing it out to the city drain. I am so grateful to have this issue resolved. oh - and in the process we discovered the last plumber working on my drain glued the cleanout lid shut.
