The night before the services were scheduled, I hadn't heard any follow up to include the time of arrival or a request for the address, so I reached out to confirm. Adalecia said yes, we were still good. I had asked for the time of arrival and she hadn't given a time, so I replied with the address and again asked for the time I could expect her. This time, she said she had a family emergency come up and had to go out of town, so she wouldn't be able to do the work on Saturday as scheduled. I get it, emergencies happen, but I was already pretty skeptical with the lack of communication before this, so I figure she had just forgotten about it. I asked when we could reschedule and she said "maybe" she'd be back on Monday and "maybe" we could get it done Tuesday or Wednesday. At this point, I was starting to panic, since I'd scheduled my carpet cleaners for Thursday and we had to be completely out of the house by end of week. I patiently waited until Monday and asked if we would be able to do this Tuesday or Wednesday, but I was met with radio silence. I would definitely not trust this company with my home even if I could get someone to actually make and keep an appointment.

Then, I was expecting her to confirm prior to the day of the clean, if our appointment was still set. She didn't, but I reached out to her to confirm. She set the time for 8 am. The day of, I woke up extra early to put some things away so it's out of their way to clean so that it's ready by 8 am. 8 am came and went and she was still not here. I wasn't too upset about it but it was a little bothersome as I have my 3 yo and 6 mo with me. At 08:11 she informs me her assistant is bringing their 4 yo child. If I didn't have kids I don't know how I would have felt about this, but since I have my 3 yo, I was ok with it since he is friendly and loves to play. (At this point in my head I was like, shouldn't you discuss that with your assistant atleast the day before? It just seemed so unorganized) At 0826 she tells me that the little girl has a "flu" and isn't able to go to daycare, but will be wearing a mask. At this point, I quickly became uncomfortable as I can't afford to have my babies sick as we are also leaving on a trip the next day. I told her that and asked her if that means we are cancelling. She said yes. Later, I then asked if we can reschedule and if she would offer a discount since it was last minute cancellation- let alone the day of and passed the appointment time. She ignored me for hours and said she can't cause she wouldn't offer a discount. I said that's fine, I'm okay with the original price of $225. And I said it was just a courtesy question if it's something she would offer for the inconvenience. THEN she tells me *I* was the one that canceled. When in fact she was or we both agreed upon it. But either way I don't think it's professional to bring a sick child over to someone else's house, who has little kids. But the fact of the matter is, I was still willing to pay the original price even if there wasn't a discount. But instead of rescheduling the clean with me, she continues the conversation that I was the one that canceled. I had to show her the screen shot of our convo to show that she cancelled. But again, how is that helpful or productive? Don't blame your client, when your client is still willing to give you business after everything. Anyway, I'm sure the cleaning is exceptional based on the reviews. And I'm bummed that it was a fail for me.

After trying to explain that I knew where she was and I could come to her instead of her entering my address into her GPS for a third time, and walking up to meet her - she stared at me, said "I can't." and literally ran away from me to her car and drove away. The hourly rate for 2 cleaners is $80 but the additional charge of $20-50 is where there's not enough transparency. I did not know what this additional charge would be ahead of time. I was charged an additional $30 for cleaning products...when all I saw was a couple Swiffer duster pads, microfiber towels, and some spray solution used. I have hardwood and I'm not convinced they even used hardwood specific products. I also got a text at 205pm for my 2pm appointment that they would be an hour late. I did not appreciate the late notice as I was waiting already. I was pretty disappointed with this cleaning experience and would use a different company next time.
