My view haven't change on how I feel about Mariana as a stylist.. She's on point with my haircuts. Never disappoint. She been cutting my hair for 3 years now. I'm alway happy after every visits. I know she have went to NYC for razor cutting class. Few more cutting classes at Loreal Academy. She's now a Loreal expert and that's the products they used at Loo Loo's Today she shaved my side again.. Also got the balayage highlights again. I'm not really sure what that is but have 10 weeks of not getting it done. People still like my highlights. All thinks I just got it done. Liz whose the other half of Loo Loo's is a certified Loreal Educator and took the same classes as Mariana. These ladies are good at what they do. They take pride in their works and willing to educate themselves to bring clients the best new techniques and the current trends. I will posted some of my hair from when Mariana did it at Cutting Image so you can judge for yourself.

Angelica was who dyed my hair the other stylists came over to give some help after it looked like there was a line of copper and really dark roots compared to the rest of my hair. Everyone was very nice so I gave 2 stars. As a SAHM it's hard to find time to get my hair done and now I'm stuck wearing hats and headbands until I can find a person and time to get it fixed.

What I like is the honesty and the cut is cheap $45 for cut & blow dry!! I'm not 100% sure how the other pricing is as I don't color my hair....yet!! I'm sure it's reasonable though, and it will be a service I will use at one point whether I like it or not :) The interior is clean and pretty, and if you've never been over there they only have street parking so bring some quarters!!

I have never had someone so rough in simply brushing my hair and later blow drying, along with being so sullen in interactions. When the owner of a salon treats you, as a new client ( or any time period client) in such a derogatory manner- while I remained pleasant and polite- which was not easy - it leaves such a negative impression- honestly one that I have never had from any hair salon I have been to. I moved recently from ATL (40 yr resident ) and never had to pay a deposit- and certainly never had such rude treatment. She didn't tell me what products she used or recommended, she didn't even give me a mirror to look at the back and sides of my new cut. I was then charged extra at checkout for long hair- when that was not presented up front and my hair is barely to the shoulders --NOT long, or thick or difficult. No receipt was provided either. I rightfully disputed this service with my credit card - after the service charge processed- - to then be awakened this morning at 7:24am by 7 phone calls in rapid succession & VM from Nicole- this is beyond comprehension. If you were really interested in understanding my salon experience - you would have called during your ( and my) normal business hours and at 'one' - unanswered phone call- left a professional courteous VM-

The salon is a nice size, updated fixtures, clean and well lit. There are about 6 stations, shampoo bowls and a few dryers. Denise is located in the back of the salon, in a cute private room, used for waxing and facial services. Service: I've come a few times and haven't had much of a greeting by the staff or front desk team member. I'm usually greeted with "Are you here for Denise? She'll be out shortly." (rarely does anyone tell her I'm there, I've had to inform her via text) Denise is a brow whisperer. She is the ONLY person in Charlotte who touches my brows. I'd walk around looking like Oscar the Grouch before letting anyone else touch them. She is gentle and knowledgeable and if needed will put you on a regimen for growth/shaping. She's got a great personality and is easy going. Love her! Pricing: Denise's prices are reasonable and competitive. They vary depending on service. She offers everything from waxing to microblading. Then was upset when there were brassy, orange areas in my long hair. Wanted to have Carole, the owner, do it since I'd seen some of her highlight work that was good. Couldn't fit into her appointment schedule as she was traveling and had Cherry do it. Was dissatisfied with the color & appearance of "zebra" stripes near the scalp as it grew. I called Carol, who said she'd take a look. She said it looked like 8 week's growth, but checking it she realized it was 4 weeks old. (Normally lasts 10 weeks between coloring). I was charged full price (which should have been discounted since it only lasted 4 weeks. I was happy that Carol was doing it, figuring she'd be the best colorist experience-wise. But it wasn't...same orange spots scattered through, she left the toner on too long to cover the orange and then the hair was way too dark. She was busy re-doing another clients highlights while doing mine & must've lost track of time. She then trimmed my bangs way too short and totally slanted...and, to add insult to injury...told me i had a cowlick & that's what the bang slant was. I'm 68 & have never had a cowlick in my very straight hair in my life! I called her as soon as I got home and told her again she cut the bangs crooked. I had paid another $145 + tip for what looked like a botched do it yourself at home job. At this point I told her I wanted my money back. Her answer: no, I used product! Beware of this salon! As mentioned, I don't get many haircuts because I enjoy longer hair. Kelly made note of my inspiration pictures from online as well as cuts I've had previously and we found a nice middle ground on length to take off.
