Charles/Charlie was as upbeat as usual. He cleaned areas of carpet on the ground floor and up the stairs to the second floor. We both had to leave before he was finished. We noticed that night that the carpet was quite wet, and it stayed wet for longer than usual, almost three days. On Day 2, two dark, rust-colored stains appeared in a highly visible area. We immediately called C.T.M. (no answer). We left a voice message as well as an email (CWBID7373 AT hotmail.com). No response, so we tried again during the next week from different phone numbers and different email addresses. To date, June 22, we have had no response from them. We have no idea what the stains are from -- the carpet itself? adhesive? subflooring? We don't want a refund, only for someone from C.T.M. come out restore our carpet to the stain-free appearance it had before they cleaned it. We wonder if the owners are ill or died -- the lack of any response is unlike C.T.M.

This past week we had them come in to remove tile from the foyer and replace it with wood and refinish the bamboo flooring we found when removed the vinyl flooring. Carl gave us a fair quote. The new wood arrived and was then Caesar showed up to do the floors. Under the tile he found beautiful parquet flooring that he was able to refinish. Carl requoted us and we oil back the ordered wood without issue. The flooring turned out fantastic. If I had more flooring to refinish I would definitely call Carl again.
