Very cool grounds at this vineyard. They're a smaller vineyard and there their wine cannot be found all across the country. The wines here were really well priced and pretty good. I wouldn't say they live up to the other wines in Napa but for the money and location it was worth stopping in (since we were staying at the hotel). Service was great. We were the last people in and were treated great. The woman serving wine was really nice and gave some great tidbits of knowledge to us. I wouldn't have gone out of my way for this, but it was a really, really nice addition to the hotel. There's not much to see in the tasting room and it felt a touch like a gift shop, but it was nice regardless. There's probably a law against it, but this place would've been awesome if it stayed open a bit later for hotel guests to wine down the night at. read more

I went here with my 4 cousins.. Steps to gazebo above the cellar has nice scenery. We shared two red wine tastings among us. It was a nice experience. I traveled to The Trinitas Library (i.e. the best kind of library) for the Crusher Games for the wineries in the area. The wine is fantastic, and the owners and staff left a great impression on everyone stopping by on the tour. The space is intimate but not small, the type of environment I would just as soon take some friends or family visiting the area to relax and see what Napa is all about, though I have strongly been considering it as a retreat for some business partners as well. If you go to Napa, start it off with a tasting at Trinitas. Seriously, it was unanimously voted the best part of our trip - from a group of NINE travelers ranging in age from 26 up to 59! It may have had a lot to do with the instructor of our "Wine 101" class. His name was Ed. He was obviously well informed and taught us so much - without being condescending or boring or pretentious. My only regret was that we didn't give him a better tip. He certainly deserved it, but by the time I figured out that we didn't leave him enough, we were already on our way back to our hotel. And it was SUCH A DEAL!!! $20/person included the tasting and the class. Really, REALLY a wise, fun choice. Anyone going to Napa should start it off with this. You won't be sorry. read more

This review is long overdue. My husband and I have stayed at The Meritage, home to Trinitas Cellars, the past two Januarys for an industry conference. Last year, we didn't have time to visit the cellars, but we did stroll through the beautiful vineyards and made it to the famous Wine Maker statue. This year, we arrived a bit early and called over to the cellars and Ken warmly invited us to come on over. We did the traditional wine tasting. We enjoyed the wines so much and had such a great time with Ken, we became members. We stopped by each day thereafter for our complimentary glass. On Saturday, we brought two friends with us for a complimentary tasting. I'm obsessed with all their chards. I can't wait for my first shipment! Our only regret is that we didn't join last year. read more

We were staying at the Meritage for a girls weekend and was told by the hotel we should come here for a tasting. Wine was good, but they don't comp anything. I know that they are not affiliated with the hotel, but given the hotel sends people there, they should at LEAST comp your tasting if you buy a bottle. Amazing wine and absolutely amazing vineyard tour! I went on this tour while in Napa with 6 of my friends. We found out about this winery and tour from the Notre Dame Alumni newsletter. It was our first stop on the trip and no other winery could surpass it! You can't beat walking through the vineyard while tasting the different wines and learning all about the wines and the vineyard. We had Matt as our tour guide and he was amazing! Wow, what an AMAZING weekend!! This was our first visit to Napa and we came for the Lobster Feed and to meet up with old friends. Met the wonderful Busch family, I cannot say enough nice things about this ENTIRE family - so hospitable, so super sweet! The tastings we attended were very informative and Ayed our server was absolutely fantastic!! He told us about the wines and educated us on many aspects of wine making, the history of Trinitas Winery, and the area. And he was so cute, loved listening to his accent and his enthusiasm and smile were contagious! We seriously felt like family or old family friends when we left. We made many new friends while we were there and the staff was so knowledgeable and caring. The waitress we had on several occasions, which I cannot remember her name, made us feel like Norm at Cheers! Everyone remembers your name! You can tell they LOVE the people, LOVE their job and are just all around great people! This is a direct result of how the Busch's treat their staff and their guests. It was very hard to go back home to reality and wished the entire world could experience what we experienced this past weekend, not to sound sappy but our experience was just so genuinely heartwarming and I can't stop thinking and talking about it to anyone that crosses my path. LOL. I hugged everyone goodbye as if I was hugging everyone at a family reunion with promises to see them again next year. My husband and I discussed that this would be something we work into our hectic schedules each year for the rest of our lives! If you want a great experience, drink some great wines, and be treated like Royalty, this is the place to be, you will not regret it. And let's not forget the beautiful surroundings and all the thought that goes into every detail from the décor to the landscaping. Just Magnificent! Tasting was very expensive given the price point of their wines. Most of their wine is very reasonably priced but it is not a good value because it isn't very good wine. They don't encourage people staying at the resort to taste by giving any sort of special treatment. As a matter of fact, the concierge gave us a 2 for 1 tasting coupon which Trinitas said was no longer being honored. Ended up buying a few bottles but probably won't go again. read more

This place has got amazing wine!!!! We did the reserve tasting at $30 a person and midway added a couple of truffles each and did a pairing ourselves. Let me tell you, their chocolates are to die for, paired with an amazing Cab and you are in taste bud heaven. On a weekend trip to Napa we wandered into the Trinitas tasting room mainly because it was one of the few in the area open past 5:00 pm. Boy were we glad we did. These wines are fantastic. Orders of magnitude better than much more expensive wines we tasted at other wineries. Really, we were blown away by the value for this quality wine. We only tasted reds, but the Cabernets, Zins and Petit Sirahs were gorgeous. Trinitas wines were the only ones we bought on our trip. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable and we had a fantastic time. Definitely worth the winding wander through the resort grounds to reach it! read more
