Honestly if I could not even give one star I would. The nail tech she was very rushy and gave the impression that she did not even want to do my nails to begin with. She was very impatient and very rough with handling my nails and fingers, she pulled on them roughly while doing my nails. These are my natural nails so I take extra pride in them, because once they are messed up, it's a done deal and will have to cut them and start over again. Way too much drilling, I left with my nails thinner and my nail bed was sore. There was some language barriers that interfered with what I wanted (but I'm not blaming them on my service I received) I tipped heavily because I wanted to prove a point. Yes I came late wasn't expecting to be there so long but no mater what good costumer service and respectful attitude goes a long way because you never know what an impact that can do on a person. Needless to say this was my first time there and it will be my last, I will never go back and I would never refer someone here . And my nails are uneven so now I will have to start all over but cutting them. read more

I have been coming here for complete sets/fills for many years. The service has always been friendly and I don't usually have to wait very long. The pedicures (if you upgrade to the fancier one) include paraffin, hot rocks and really long massage (the best part of a pedicure, right?). I've never felt rushed, like I have read in some of the other reviews. But I try to be a good tipper and maybe they remember me?? My fills have always looked great and I get a TON of compliments on my nails. Now, all of that said... lets address some of the negative reviews. The owner is such a sweet woman, and she gives opportunities to less experienced technicians. In other words, this place has a few "trainees" working there and if you get one of them, your experience might reflect that. Tonga (the owner) does a remarkable job of supervising and trying to help the new folks learn and get better. Having customers with crappy attitudes doesn't help them. And listen, I have sat in there next to some complainers! When you get all vocal about your polish not being perfect or your massage not being long enough, you ruin my experience too. I'm in there to chill, y'all. I'd encourage you to give them a second chance. All businesses are struggling post-COVID and good employees are hard to find, so you might have to wait for a seat, and you might get a new girl/guy. But we're all in this together, so just be kind and patient. It ain't even that hard. read more

I honestly don't know how this place has such good reviews. Me and a friend came here this past Friday, as we were both WAY overdue for a good pedicure. We made an appointment for noon and showed up just shortly before. Masks are required and they used a temporal thermometer when we got there. There was one other person there who was getting a gel manicure and pedicure. Once seated, a gentleman started my pedicure right away. My friend had to wait until a technician was done working on the other woman before she was tended to. Kind of defeats the purpose of an appointment. It was a good 10 or 15 minutes she sat there with her feet in the water. Though the gentleman who did my pedicure did a very nice, long and through massage, I was wishing he had spent more time on my toes and feet with the pumice stone and more care to my cuticles, as there was a lot of dry skin...the paint job was fine, not great, but looks ok from far away. I also got a regular manicure, that's when it gets REAL bad. The same guy was doing the work. Right when we get started he says the polish I chose was going to chip in a few days...I think this was his attempt at up-selling me to gel. My nails are actually in great condition, so I just wanted a regular manicure. Again, he rushed the manicure part of it...the water I kept my hands in was very cold and had no cuticle softener in it. My hands were not even in the water long enough for my cuticles to get very soft. He HACKED at my cuticles and it was very painful. He made me bleed one two different fingers and acted like it didn't happen! He just continued on, letting it bleed. He then rubbed lotion on my hands, again, ignoring the blood. He wiped all of my nails with alcohol prior to painting them, which burned like heck, and my fingers continued to bleed and he just painted them!!! I was appalled. When he was done he just put the color right back on the wall... The paint job was terrible. Even the clear coat was slapped on and not cleaned up. I have attached photos. There was no cuticle oil applied at any point, so if you see shine around my nails, that's the clear coat paint, not oil! They do have a sign that says cash only, but the other woman that was in there paid by Venmo, so I requested that. This place is NOT worth the price and probably the worst technician I have ever had, as far as the actual work goes. My friend, who got just the pedicure, was also cut! The woman clipped her big toe cuticle too short and it bled. At least that technician put something on the wound to help it stop bleeding though. I would SKIP this place at all costs!! read more

I am in shock. I have gone to Trini's off and on for years. I have never been thrilled with my service here, but it's close to my house. Today, I went in for a new set to replace my existing acrylic nails that had broken after a week and a half. The lady who worked on my nails roughly filed down my nails and then, without asking, jabbed an acrylic tip between my existing nail and the acrylic on top. By doing that, she RIPPED MY NAIL OFF basically at the cuticle. It was extremely painful. She said something about tearing my nail and got up. Blood began to weep out of my nail. She grabbed my finger and applied what I believe to be glue the torn acrylic, gluing it on top of my exposed nail bed. All without asking. I was shaking. I said that I couldn't believe what had just happened. She nonchalantly apologized and asked if I would like to come back when my nail had healed. I, of course, got up and left. My nail is extremely painful and I am looking at quite a long time before it heals. I am also concerned about infection and the nail tech's choice to glue to acrylic to my exposed nail bed. I really like this place. The only thing I would say is I went when they were closing and the guy tried to skip a bunch of steps in my pedicure, but I verbally told him I would like him to do those things he was more than happy to oblige. I would come here again it was a little pricey, but I feel like it's standard competition price. I paid $115 with tip for a pedicure /manicure which I thought was a little high but I also like to tip, so I'm not sure if you could get it cheaper than that I got gel as well. I would come here again if I was in a bind and couldn't find a place it was clean and they were pretty friendly which sometimes nail salons are not. read more

Tom was pretty great for a while but then I call today to confirm my appointment they say yes all is good I show up and he is JUST starting a girl - im talking glueing on her tips! 7/14/19 I still love this place. The place is still just as clean as when they first opened and they have very friendly workers. So far the foot/leg massage with the pedi has been great from everyone there. None of that shin rub-only business. I will continue to come to this place for pedicures. 8/21/17 Nice new nail salon. Went on a Sunday morning and it was pretty quiet. It is brand new so it is sparkling clean. The decor is calming and serene atmosphere. Great pedicures. We had a great experience here a few days ago. I called a few hours ahead to make an appointment for 4 of us for pedicures and we were seated immediately when we walked in. They helped us all at the same time which was wonderful. Two of us got the lavender pedicure and the two guys did the lemon. I loved my pedicure, felt that it was very thorough and the massage was wonderful. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is two people I was with said their massages were mediocre. One asked them to press harder but said it was still very light. My polish came out wonderfully as well. Overall it took a little over an hour so we got in some nice back massages on the chairs. I had a great experience here. Bought a Groupon on the fly and called and got in immediately, there was only one customer there when I arrived. Service was very friendly, they have a ton of polishes to choose from, and the pedicure was almost an hour. The pedicure itself included hot stone massage, paraffin foot dip, and hot towels, followed by quite a long massage. All of this, while sitting in a massage chair. The woman who did my feet engaged in conversation and was very pleasant. The only improvement I could see here is the smell, it smells heavily of whatever products they use that smell like chemicals. Pedicure: cold water, don't even soak my feet for 5 mins. Asked for pink and white pedi and got regular. Also she messed up the paint and instead of taking the polish off and starting over she dabbed a quick touch of white and said I was done. Manicure: freezings water bowl in my lap while I got a pedicure. She had to start over twice cause the color was so cakey. My cuticles are all jacked up and the color has bubbles and is uneven. My middle finger nail is misshaped and she left all my hang nails... did I mention no lotion?!?! Worst experience ever!
