If I could do a zero star I would. But unfortunately Yelp does not allow me to do that. When I first walked in I was not greeted. I had to wait and after 10 mins later I was finally greeted with a hello. When I finally got my nails done, it was a standard Normal manicure....and they didn't take the time to push my cuticles back. When I told them that they skipped it, they pretended they didn't hear me and ignored my request. I have never been to a nail salon that skipped that process. It was a strange service. Jenny is still awesome! She is always so friendly and sweet.. she takes her time to do a quality job and doesn't make you feel rushed but is efficient as well. My nails are always super well shaped and filed--coffin shape. I do fiberglass and they are never too thick even though I wear them long. I did white gel polish with hologram powder this time.. they turned out fabulous as always. The shop is always clean and cozy. They have an excellent selection of polish colors and services and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend. read more

Horrible horrible service! My daughter and her girlfriend treated me to a pedicure for Mother's Day and something that was supposed to be sweet and special turned out to be a horrible experience!! The staff was rude, charged us extra fees for things we did not get, painted our toenails like a 2 year old child would do! Horrible horrible customer service. I go to the hair salon next door for haircuts and everytime I am there I walk over and ask them if they can do a pedicure. They always tell me no but there's not one customer in the store. On May 14th I walked in and asked for a pedicure and they told me that they could not do it but there were no customers. On June 9th I walked in and asked if I could get a pedicure and they told me the same thing that they were unable to do it but there was not one customer in the store at the time. So I made an appointment for June 18th at 11 a.m.. today I walk in and say I'm here for my appointment and they look at me and say oh we canceled your appointment because you never confirmed it. I never received any kind of call email or text message from them letting me know that the appointment was canceled. Extremely poor customer service and poor communication. Especially since every time I go there there is never a customer in the store yet they turn you away. I must start this review off typically, I only get a manicure and choose a color for my natural nails, maybe a pedicure if I'm feeling good! This time I got my first gel manicure and a color change on my toes! Since my nails grow so quickly I was incredibly excited because regular manicures usually chip within 3 day. The gel polish lasted roughly one week. It's starting to chip and flake from the bottom, likely from new growth. I got a french manicure and there were a couple air bubbles, I even pointed it out while they were being painted but the nail tech shook her head and said there was nothing there and simply put more clear gel polish over it. I'm more pleased with my toe color than the gel polish on my finger nails. I wish my gel manicure lasted 2 weeks as intended but next time I think I will try a solid color maybe that will make a difference. Overall the service was great, I walked in and out within an hour the prices were low and cheap for services that can be very expense. I will definitely go back, hopefully I will have a better experience. read more

My experience with this place a couple weeks ago was HORRIBLE!! I called in earlier that day to make an appointment for 6:00. Whoever I was talking to said they could see me at 6:30, but if I wanted to come in earlier at 6:00, I could but I would need to wait. I didn't really want to wait around in the nail spa for too long so I went in at 6:15. When we got there at 6:15, it was empty (there was one customer and three nail technicians). The main lady very rudely said that we were late and she would not do both of our nails and that if she did she would not accept both of our Groupons even if we were paying on two separate transactions. She started to argue with me about the time we arrived. I turned around and walked out and will never return. I went to Inails (which was packed) on Howe with two different Groupons and because we had such a pleasant experience I gladly got all the extras and spent a good $100 aside from the groupons and gave gracious tips because of their quality work and GREAT customer service!!! They are a little farther from me than Diamond nails spa but I'm sure Diamond will be going out of business soon since they have a horrible location and terrible customer service anyways. read more

I have been coming here for quite some and I have never been disappointed. I love the options they offer for their pedicures. Their massage chairs are wonderful. I highly recommend the paraffin treatment for your feet. Very nice and friendly staff. I usually get my nails done by Elizabeth because she is the only one that does the dipping powder. They just opened 5 months ago (March 2014?) so everything is brand new and fresh. I have went here a fewtimes and have really tried to give this place a try. Especially, since i live close by. I usually try to give places a try before just giving up on them. U know maybe a bad day. I understand but this place after doing a god job on my nails maybe once which was the first time, everytime after that has been a huge disappointment. When i ask for mot to think and as natural looking as u can i get the opposite. I get thick and nails that look to big for my finger size. I think the should use smaller tips and smaller brushe for people with small fingers. As for the pedicures horrible job pretty much everytime. I would give it 5 stars because the foot massage was great however the water was only a little warm to start off, no biggie. I am a bit worried that she really rounded the toe nails by cutting off the corners with the cuticle nipper. I've never had anyone do that befor and I know you are not supposed to...normally they just go straight across. I am nervous that it will cause ingrown nail. So instead of walking out happy and relaxed I am worried... Hopefully they will grow out fine and next time I will tell them NO rounding. read more

Absolutely love this place! This is my go to salon. There are hardly any salons in this part of town that are this clean, friendly, and have a wide variety of colors and nail options. I never have issues with my nails after having them done here. I almost always get gel polish and it lasts VERY well. I have had a few chips after a few days once or twice but I believe that depends on the color or brand of gel you get. I am rough on my hands and have broken nails often and they are always more than happy to fix them for me without hassle. I have and will continue to recommend them to my friends. read more

I was the first one done so I go and sit next to my friend as the lady is finishing up and I noticed that my friend received the whole hand massage they do normally, but I didn't. I just shrugged it off thinking the lady must of forgot or something. A week goes by and my friend told me that she already had to remove her gel manicure because it was peeling off already. Really love this place! They do such nice pedicures! Their massage chairs I enjoy as well. They spend time doing the pedicures and are not rushed. They do a great foot massage. The gals that work here are nice and friendly. The one thing I do not care for is the fee they charge to use debit or credit. I like businesses that pick up those fees. It makes me a happy customer to know that your business is important to them and picking up the fee to me is one way to show that instead of putting the fee on the customer. Sigh... I really wanted to like this place since it's clean and they are typically friendly until you have a complaint. Went in on Friday to get a gel and pedicure.. after I had returned to work I noticed my gel manicure was totally uneven and the whole nail wasn't polished, there were so many spots on my nails that were missed. I returned today to just simply ask to have them re-done and it became a huge fight of how there was nothing wrong with my nails and how my nails grew.. really?! in 2 days? Went here after visiting my friend who lives in Sacramento, it was close by as he lives near La Riviera dr . It's located in a nice shopping center with a Chinese restaurant and a cool pizza place I think called Caps . I decided to grab some pizza for lunch prior to going in . When I walked in the nail shop I was by the lady in the front there is no eating in the shop . That is fine , I respect that. I asked how long the wait and was told 30 min wait although there was no one in the shop at the time and no one in the pedicure chair . I wanted a simple pedicure . I informed the front desk lady that I would eat my pizza from Caps in the car as I was parked right in front . As I'm eating my pizza I notice 2 ladies walk in and immediately are serviced in the pedicure chairs so I think maybe they had an appointment . Fast forward to me finishing my meal and returning for my pedicure . I asked again about how long , very politely. The lady at the front desk seems to be the owner reply with an attitude 30 min . Now remind you I have already been waiting 20 min when I was initially Given a 30 min wait Time and never did they once write my name down in a book and when I asked to be penciled I'm on a waitlist they said " we know we know you are waiting we know ". I asked the nice and friendly young ladies who were receiving pedicures if they come here often and if they had and appointment. They replied " no this is our first tile and we just walked right in after having Chinese food " they said that's they came to go to the local Big lots but noticed it was closed for remodeling and decided to have lunch and pedicures . After I asked the ladies the question about them having an appointment making small talk and what appeared to be general conversation . The woman doing my feet said " don't make trouble " I simply relied it is not my intention to do so . She then rushed through my pedicure and cut my toe in the process and did not once apologize for making me bleed .
