Jessica stated that she could help me and told me what her plans would be for me , when I came in . She removed all the bad work the other place did and started over. She used a Clear gel. Lots of curing and shaping. And painted them with a light pink color and then brushed them with chrome dust. They are so pretty. Next time I come in I will be getting the white gel and still go over with the white pearl chrome. She said these will last 4-6 weeks !

I brought in some reference photos and when my hair was fully cut and styled I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I walked out feeling egg like, but after washing, and styling on my own I was a little happier with it. Unfortunately, in my opinion, having your hair cut is an intimate experience where meshing with your stylist is important (at least to me) and it all felt very impersonal. It felt rather rushed, and at times I felt the blade get stuck in my hair because too much was being cut with very swift motions. I have thick hair, and smaller pieces are best to work a blade through. I am grateful to have been fit in sooner, to have cut off my hair, but I give the hair cutting aspect a 3/5.

She quoted me fairly and I accepted. But shortly after, she talked very negatively about my hair. Her comments included that my hair was severely damaged and asked me if I liked my hair cut "like that" nodding to my newly grown in baby hairs (I'm a few months postpartum). I finally informed her that I'm newly postpartum. When she was prepping for the perm, she told me to wash my hair. And pointed me in the direction in which I should go. She told me to take off my glasses, so I walked without them and held them while I sat in the chair. As I was getting situated, she yelled at me as I was navigating the hair wash chair, "move forward!" Several times, aggressively, loudly, when honestly from my perspective it was scooting backward for one, but also I couldn't see without my glasses. It was at this point I was seriously considering just getting up and leaving but she had already trimmed my hair. I'm 3 days post-perm and results look fine, but honestly given my treatment by the owner I will not return. Very disappointed, as I was looking forward to a positive salon experience postpartum.

The minute she pulled out those fancy texturizing/razor-style scissors and started working on my ends, I thought, YESSSS!!! She knows what she's doing! She gave my hair the layers, texture, and movement I had been looking for. I also got Japanese hair straightening, which took about four hours. If you have hair that normally requires blow drying AND straightening every time you wash it, you know the struggle. This treatment is such a time saver! Now I can wash my hair, dry it and BOOM...hair is ready to go. The service was great from beginning to end. Michelle was friendly, took her time with my hair, and I never felt rushed even though I was there for several hours. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering how much time and work went into my hair.
