My friends and I really enjoyed our visit to the nail spa. We went on a Sunday and there was only one woman working. She happily took all three of us. One for a full set and two pedicures. She took her time doing each persons nails or toes. She didn't rush to get us out. Our nails looked beautiful! I would definitely recommend stopping in. Went in to buy a gift certificate for my 82 year old dad for a pedicure. The lady at the desk said it expired in 1 year and also wrote that on the gift certificate. I told her that was illegal in California. By law, gift cards and certificates don't expire. She was super rude and argued with me about it. Obviously, she doesn't know the law and is not following it. Will not go back. Very unprofessional. Also, the shop was gross and dirty. Would NOT recommend. read more

Wish i could put No Stars. What a Rip Off Place!! I just took my 87 year old father to get his finger nails and toe nails trimmed. Instead of asking if they would trim his nails I should have asked "how much". After spending 5 minutes trimming his fingers and toes, she said cost is $30. SPEAK ABOUT SENIOR ABUSE !!! 5 minutes $30 is $180 hour for only Trimming nails. No Peticure. No Manicure just a 5 minute Trim. Even the customer next to us was in shock and said wow. read more

The cherries could have been a bit more separated and whatever chemical she used burned my nails and they're pricer than I've paid elsewhere. But I am leaving 4 stars and tipped 15%, because she tried her best and it's nice they do Venmo as payment and they are still pretty cute! read more

I try not to be a negative person... but I had the worst manicure results ever at this store and would never recommend anyone to go here. Here is why: My friend and I both asked for a manicure, and while the technician performing the manicure was very nice and communicative, but the job they did was terrrrible. I just asked for a manicure, but wasn't given a menu because every manicure EVER always typically involves: Nail trim + buff, lotion, light hand / arm massage, hot towel, and lastly, polish. .... I got a Nail trim and polish. The Nail Trim itself was uncomfortable and the results were bad. They didn't use warm water to soften my nails and cuticles, so when the technician pushed my cuticles back and trimmed it it was actually painful. I am not sure what buff they use but the surface of my nails were terribly SCRATCHED up. So badly that I couldn't even buff out the scratches when I tried to fix it! The Polishing job was really bad... probably the worst I've ever gotten, to be honest! There were streaks, and clearly areas where they missed the second coat. I am unsure of the brand they used for the polish, but it chipped so badly that I removed the polish three days later (only to discover my scratched up nail underneath) On top of that, between my friend and I's manicures it was like $80-$90! Definitely not worth what we paid, and we will not be returning. read more

I had read previous reviews on yelp about this nail salon. I was a bit worried at the quality of the fill I would get, but it was close to my home and at the time location was more important. I walked in asked if they had availability at that time to do a fill on my acrylic nails and I was told yes, they could get to me in about 10 minutes. I took a seat and waited, I didn't keep track of how long I waited but it definitely didn't feel like i was waiting forever to get in a chair. The gal that did my nails "Nina" was FABULOUS! Quick but thorough, she made them short and square just like I asked. She was also very pleasant in conversation. I'm really glad that I had a good experience and I really liked the work she did and will most definitely be going back to see Nina for my nail needs. read more

Just got my nails done here. I felt very rushed since I was the last client, even though they booked me for an appointment at that time (5pm, when the website says open until 7). She kept asking why I didn't get gel, and saying my nails wouldn't last until tomorrow if I don't get gel. She kept saying things like "we will be here all night if you want to wait for your nails to dry. You aren't going to be able to do anything for the rest of the night and they're going to be messed up by tomorrow". I felt very rushed, like I couldn't wait for my nails to dry. She did not let the paint dry adequately between coats, so an hour later my polish is still soft, and got messed up as she kept saying they would. $20 for a manicure and it was basically only a polish change. Would not recommend going here unless you are getting acrylic or gel, or they will make you feel like you are wasting their time. read more

Just finished getting a pedicure here and it was WONDERFUL! Thang did my nails and she didn't miss a single cuticle. She took her time and was seriously meticulous. I got the special pedicure ($30) and she used this pineapple scrub that smelled INCREDIBLE followed by an amazing green tea lotion for the massage. 10/10 this pedicure was perfect! This is an old nail salon previously (Malibu Nails) that has new ownership and has been updated and remodeled. I have gone twice now and both times have had Nina as my nail technician. She is always attentive and thorough with my manicure. I have gotten Dip powder both times and lasted longer than 3 weeks and still looked like they did the day I got them done! All the products are brand new that each time I have used a dip powder it hadn't even been opened. Thrilled I have found a new salon that provides top notch service and lasts! I'm in the medical field and wash my hands constantly and use tons of hand sanitizer along with lotion so have had problems with other salons and my manicure chipping and peeling instantly, but not Luxury Nails. Highly recommend and will of course be back. Already have my next appointment scheduled!!! read more

After all nail salons being shut down for 3 months, I was in desperate need so I googled who was open and close to me. This place popped up but was called "Malibu Nails", the name is now Luxury Nails. I felt super comfortable here even tho covid is running rampant. I wore a mask as well as all the employees and other clients. They have every other seat empty, and plastic dividers separating the clients from the employees. My pedicure was great, just the right amount of time, treatment, massage. The ladies were nice and talkative but not overbearing. Super relaxing, glad I found this place, will definitely be back soon! read more

This used to be Maibu Nails. I was a client for many years...at least 10. One day I came in for my regular appointment with Doug. The business was completely changed and the new owner was quite rude. She attempted to get me to allow HER to do my nails instead of Doug. Really? Stealing clients from your employees? Throughout my appointment this owner made snarky comments to both myself and Doug. She was clearly letting us know she was the boss. I didn't feel comfortable even though the place had been painted and reorganized. In fact, I was quite uncomfortable. I go get my nails done for relaxation and to treat myself. Getting my nails done is secondary to having time to relax with no interruptions. This environment does not help me relax and I won't be back. read more
