I am beyond impressed as this was my very first facial and lash extension service that I've had. I opted for the classic facial, which was an hour long. It was phenomenal!! I recently moved to the area and I was lucky enough to have found this place. My eyes are a little sensitive to certain lash glues and one thing they did differently is that they took the time to consult with me on what I needed and how to customize different lash styles for MY eye shape. I always appreciate their time and patience with me as I can be a little difficult but they never made me feel uncomfortable or felt impatient. I travel quite a bit, and sometimes cannot make it in for a fill for up to 3 weeks. I prefer every 2 weeks:) it is by far the cleanest eyelash studio I have ever experienced. My extensions are washed . Any old or grown out lashes are removed. I did a review on google but I feel people need to know about this. I have been going to lash vibes for the last couple months and it was usually fine. I went in a couple days ago to get my lash extensions refilled. Coming in they told me that I had canceled my appointment (which I did not) but they could still get me in. I noticed she was rushing and I'm guessing it was since the next appointment was right after mine. After my appointment my eyes felt sore so I went to the bathroom and they were all red. I paid and left. I checked my bank and found out they charged me extra I did not agree to. I called and they zelled me the money back. Then since after a couple days and my eyes are STILL RED, I talked to my doctor and found out a blood vessel was popped. I know that it was probably an accident but honestly this is a little ridiculous. I will not be coming back here. Update: They responded and basically pushed all the blame onto the customer. I explained to them multiple times I had an appointment on the 26th and about a week to a couple days before I canceled and rescheduled for the 28th. I did not cancel my second appointment. Something may have gone wrong in the system but I did not personally hit cancel on my appointment and never got a cancellation email like I did with the other one. Secondly they said I should have let them know about my red eye so they can fix it right away. They put eye drops in my eye to help with the "irritation" it doesn't change that she POPPED THE BLOOD VESSEL IN MY EYE. Also they said with the charging me extra that they "sent me the money back right away" because they noticed. I had to call days later because I NOTICED it on my bank. Then when I called they tried to tell me they couldn't send it back to my account but would credit it to my next appointment. I had to tell them no and that it had to be sent to me somehow. On August 5th, I had an appointment at Lash Vibes for both lash extensions and a facial in preparation for my maternity shoot just three days later. I made sure to fill out the forms provided by the receptionist, where I provided detailed information about my skin, emphasizing that it was extremely dry, and I also mentioned my pregnancy and diabetes. Upon arriving, I noticed the owner, a seemingly cunning lady, preparing the facial room. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that she hadn't read the forms I filled out. It wasn't until she saw my visibly pregnant belly that she realized I was pregnant. This lack of attention was concerning. She then suggested an oxygen facial, despite my repeated mention of my extremely dry skin. When I raised this concern once more, she assured me that the oxygen facial was suitable for all skin types. Additionally, she insisted on doing a mild peel, even though I clearly expressed my reluctance due to my pregnancy. The peel started burning immediately, and though I told her, she brushed it off, claiming it would only be temporary discomfort. During the process, she mentioned that she wanted to use something stronger but refrained due to my pregnancy. This was unsettling because the peel was already causing a burning sensation. She also used a fan brush instead of a gentler silicon brush, exacerbating the discomfort. Despite noticing that she had caused some damage to my skin, she didn't acknowledge it and proceeded to move on to the lash extensions without offering a mirror to assess the damage. After using the restroom, I was horrified by my reflection. My face was covered in red marks and looked terrible. When I informed her about the burning sensation, she applied an oil and assured me it would be fine. To make matters worse, I was charged $160 for the facial, despite her website stating a $90 fee for first-time customers. I also gave her a tip. Upon returning home, I noticed my skin was deteriorating rapidly. I contacted the owner to express my concerns, and she suggested I visit her. When I went back, her attitude was dismissive, pointing out my pregnancy and diabetes as if they were the sole culprits. This was frustrating, considering I had provided this information in the forms she neglected to read. She eventually offered a refund and a serum, but her promises of follow-up went unfulfilled. Seeking clarification on the peel she used, I contacted the company DBH, whose product she had applied. To my surprise, their consultant informed me that the peel was not suitable for pregnant women. Armed with this information, I confronted the owner, but she remained defensive, attributing the burning and damage to my pregnancy and diabetes. After some back-and-forth, she reluctantly agreed to refund me. However, she shifted from accepting her mistakes to offering home remedies like turmeric. She even claimed to have consulted her professor at DBH who supposedly approved her actions. Frustrated, I requested she cover my dermatologist visit costs since my skin was now scarred due to her mishandling. Her response was evasive and unhelpful, indicating that I should go to the dermatologist and then "we will see about the payments." As time went on, my skin developed scars, and the owner ceased responding to my messages. Despite my determination to address the issue, she acted as though nothing had happened. In light of this experience, I am resolute in my decision to file a formal complaint against her. It's clear she lacks proper knowledge and professionalism, prioritizing financial gain over the well-being of her clients. My hope is that my complaint can prevent others from falling victim to her incompetence and greed. All this made me miss my photoshoot for which I had already paid too. Now coming to the lash part when she did the lashed I felt she did a good job and I also bought the $15 cleaning kit from her but 80% of my lashes had come out in one week, this is when I was super careful with my lashes. With all these experiences I urge all the people to protect their skin and lashes and not fall victim to vivian's unprofessional and incompetent services. read more
