I have been a previous customers of theirs in the past. I decided I was gonna give it one more go. The salon is newly remodeled and chairs are new also. I scheduled an appointment with Jessica a few nights ago as I was grabbing chinese take out. . I recently went to Vegas, and had my nails done but in the last 2 weeks I've had so may issues with them. Jessica stated that she could help me and told me what her plans would be for me , when I came in . She removed all the bad work the other place did and started over. She used a Clear gel. Lots of curing and shaping. And painted them with a light pink color and then brushed them with chrome dust. They are so pretty. Next time I come in I will be getting the white gel and still go over with the white pearl chrome. She said these will last 4-6 weeks ! read more

The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. I especially recommend Jenny or Peter--they both do a great job. I called around a few places to get the price for a fill, a few places quoted me $55-60. This place quoted me $32-37, which was relatively cheaper, so decided to go check it out. I had never had a fill before, but from what I read, it is just where they fill the gap between your acrylic nails and regular nails (due to nail growth). So basically I get in and it is pretty empty, just 3 people working and one other customer. I come to realize that a "fill" is still a lengthy process as they need to get rid of all the polish and basically do all the steps of a regular acrylic manicure besides gluing the nails on! I now understand why it is not a cheaper and quick process. I felt like this place was no frills and just straight to the point. The lady just went straight to work and was getting all the gel powder from grinding my nails all over the place. It was messy, but she did have me wash my hands after the initial step. She did a good job and my nails look good as new. It was $37 (because I got the French tip). I would return! read more

Unfortunately one of the worst pedicures I've ever gotten. The polish is super uneven and lumpy, and is on my skin on almost every toe. It was also very painful because she cut super close to my skin, it looks like one of my big toes is sliced a bit on the side. It still really hurts a few hours later. I wanted to like them I really did, close to home and prices are okay. I only went in for a pedicure the first time the nail extensions I got were too long and crooked. I like the staff so I thought I'd give them another chance. I went in asked for a #4 pedicure $40+$10 gel. Cindy decided she wanted to do the $47 pedicure, told me she "messed up" and would tell the owner but she never did. Come time to pay they tell me 57 I ask why and she said oh because she used the $47 box... ok ? And ? I didn't ask for it and she knew she was grab the wrong items why do I have to pay for something I didn't ask for and didn't want. Cindy only told me AFTER she opened the box, I didn't even pick the smell! Not coming back sorry I like attention to detail and customer service. read more

I recommend Cordova Nails to anyone who's looking for quality work. I called and asked if they can take a walk-in. The lady responded, Of course. I headed on over. When I arrive, I was greeted with friendly faces and good vibes. Jenny started my nails. I waited for the manager to finish me up. My original tech has an appointment to show up. I didn't mind waiting. I wasn't in any hurry. As I waited the shop was playing soothing videos on the big screen tv. I gave Jessica permission to make my nails beautiful. I haven't had artificial nails in 10 years...seriously. I wanted these to help my regular nails grow out. They had started breaking off terribly. I was super pleased with the outcome. Unfortunately this was the worst nail experience I've ever had. Got basic gel manicure. Paint was all over my cuticles/fingers, nails were filed without my being asked about shape and now are jagged on the sides, and when cleaning cuticles so much of my skin was taken off I could feel it and see indents on the top/sides of my fingers. The owner kindly tried to redo it and gave me a discount, but still overall never had my nails butchered like this before. Will be awhile for them to recover. read more

Not a good experience I just moved here and this place was close to home so I thought I would get my nails done upon coming in. The lady told me that my nails were really brittle and not good and I needed to get acrylic and not shellac like I requested. She then kept trying to push dip powder on me and kept telling me my nails were really brittle. I told her again I just wanted shellac. I also came in with pretty long nails and she filed and cut all of them down to my skin and it hurt really bad And instead of using a towel to wipe my nails or clean with a towel she used Kleenex and at the end I requested to pay with Apple Pay cash Venmo because I lost my card at the fair and I Venmo her and then she said she didn't have Venmo or requested a second payment Horrible experience the lease and I won't be back. As I went in they started yelling so I started looking at the colors they had out since they were all with other clients. Absolutely did not think they were yelling at me!!! As I kept looking, they just got angrier and started yelling louder and that's when I noticed everyone looking at me, and noticed they were yelling at me. Absolutely the WORST way to be greeted by a salon!!! I've never been treated that way at any other salon so I didn't think their yelling would be at me. I told them I wanted to get my nails done and then they yelled at me, AGAIN, that they only accepted cash. It wouldn't have been a problem if they hadn't followed it up by saying if I had no cash that was no good. I ended up walking out before they got to me. After 4 years of being a loyal customer, never any complaints. I'd always ask for Jessica, she was fast and we knew eachother. I always made sure I brought cash to give a generous tip but on this day all I had was a $20 bill. After I paid on my credit card for the nails, I asked for her to break the $20 bill so I could give her atleast $10 for a tip, not much but it was all I could give. She brought the change, I went to grab it to give her half and she quickly raised her voice, made a scene telling me, "what are you doing," "you need to go back to school," "you don't no math!" I held my composure and explained all I have to give is $10, so I'm splitting it. She laughed and continued to say, "you don't know math." I've never in my life been so berated, not to mention in public, infront of other customers. She then realized how incredibly wrong she was, followed me to the door apologizing under her breath. I asked for gel mani and regular pedi. The pedicure was ok but the gel mani was the worst I've gotten. The lady didn't even clean my cuticles just passed the cuticle remover over my nails and wasn't even looking at what she was doing. Please do not come here. The photos speak for them selves. I took my mom here today and both of us left with bleeding feet. My previous nail tech would cut the sides of my nails to make them look more "polished" and the nail tech here noticed that and decided to follow that cut and nail the entire nail off. My toe was pooping blood. She has to put drops on it and stuff toilet palate on it. A couple minutes later I look over and see my mom bleeding and getting the same drops and toilet paper. I had to physically stop this lady from cutting more of my other toes. I was shaking uncontrollably from the pain. We THOUGHt it was just one toe on my mom but it was FIVE. Do NOT come here. [Solid 4 stars; I think I found my "go-to spot" for gel pedicures - going in for a gel/dip manicure later this week, so stay tuned!] Hubby and I wanted to try a new place and get in for some last minute pedicures this afternoon. After my horrible experience at Crystal's - I shopped around on Yelp for the "highest star/rated" nail salon in my neighborhood. I then called into Cordova Nails for some pricing and a sweet lady answered on the other end: "$30 for gel pedicure, we can see you this evening, what time works for you?" We walked in around 5:40pmish, greeted promptly and was offered to sit in the pedicure massage chairs since there was going to be a wait for our nail technician to finish. Extended time in the massage chairs? Hell yeah, we're in... the manager got us set up and heavily apologized about the wait we were going to endure because they were short staffed d/t the holiday. Being that we were in no rush, we didn't mind waiting. Thirty minutes rolled around and we were still waiting for our nail techs, the sweet manager lady came by to apologize again for the wait & thanked us for being so patient. After what felt like almost 45 minutes of waiting, my nail tech fiiiiiinally started my pedicure. Peter, apologized for the wait and I reassured him all was good. Apparently two of his staff had called in last minute so they were short staffed- not going to hold this against him because the staff that was present were working their butt's off and again, I wasn't in a hurry so it was no biggie that we had to wait. As far as my pedicure, Peter did an amazing and thorough job! I told him the exact cut and shape of my nails that I wanted and he even let me test out a few colors until I finally decided on the exact neutral gel color. He didn't rush to make up on lost time while I waited, which is what I was worried he was going to do. We chit chatted about his family and hobbies, very nice guy. I left very satisfied since my nails were short, square and the only nail polish I see is the one on my actual nails (not my skin). For $30, you get your nails trimmed, cuticles cleaned, a foot massage, and hot towel cleaning plus the gel color application. It's $20 for this "basic pedicure" with an additional up-charge of $10 for gel = total $30 gel pedicure. I'm looking forward to getting my manicure later this week. Come in and check them out! The salon is clean and has a modern, sleek interior. The exterior/surrounding area may seem sketchy, but it's fine. read more

The staff was really friendly however, I am super disappointed. I got gel acrylic nails done here, then two days later I had 2 nails that were peeling off. I went in that same day they started peeling and got those 2 nails "fixed". The lady had just slapped a ton of gel polish over the peeled nails, which made my nails look super thick and weird looking. Two days later one of the same nails peeled off again... Now I have a nail that has fallen off and the gel is starting to peel off on almost every nail. It has only been 2 weeks since I got my nails done here and my nails look so ridiculous. Not sure why all of their gel polishes are peeling.. but very disappointing. read more
