Do not send anything allowed to have company do not plan on ever having anything on your porch or even a wreath on your door. Way too many kids. All trying to win the daily scream fest. They play in front of my window and the stairwell (echo chamber) and scream etc night and day. It's haunting and inescapable. Add an extra $90 - $135 / month for water sewer for a single unit. Manager (see photos) covertly dumps her couches and junk when she moved out. My neighbor recorded it on his camera and told me all of us have to pay for that. Mgmt has been dishonest, lacking transparency, with an ongoing proven distrust. --Everything from pricing$ to personal security. Also, the young couple moved in upstairs a year ago. It's not very soundproof. Too much personal noise for me and nobody wants that. Same as the last couple that lived there. Of course my TV or music (earplugs) is on regardless. --Just saying. FAVORITISM -- People lose respect for Mgmt that has rules for you, but not themselves or a select few. One manager "seems" nice; however, she has her favorite residents and grants privileges no one else will ever get. Recently, I'd made a digital notation concerning a single occupant neighbor with 2 rigs and parks in handicap spots -all week/weekend on a continuum. This low IQ individual occupies two permanent parking spots as it is. Mgmt had me notify office when this occurred. --MGMT failed to do anything for over a year now; however this time a 30 yo senorita Manager COMMANDED me to reposition security camera by midnight or lease is breached, then evicted etc. WTH!!! This is Nonsense blather and obv power tripping. It's not really possible for her to tell if my camera is on or a dummy camera. **Get this** --- **Simultaneously,** the other Manager has me send pics of his parking transgressions?!?! The director of company, Megan has failed us all as well. -- sits there like a perv in a van, staying quiet and hoping I'll go away. There is guilt in silence if you ask me. That's how management's been. Management cannot be trusted... Shifty AF !! & Lies to your face. If you speak up they work to silence you. Not only did it take months to get any type of work orders completed, but our last work order Including fire alarms missing, second story window screens missing and front door handle literally falling off, never got completed until we were moved out this last week. What I think is the worst, is that we kept our apartment up in as perfect condition as it could be considering how old and ran down they were when we moved in, in hopes to get our security deposit back. Nope. We had payed by the 8th of every month per verbal agreement with the previous management and thought it would carry over to the new manager, it didn't. So now, come move out time, we owe FIVE months worth of $75 late fees out of our deposit all because he did not get a single notice stating that we were "late on rent". If we would have gotten a late rent notice the first month $300 worth of late fees could have been avoided for us. We also know multiple people that got screwed out of their security deposits for absolutely no reasoning. All in all, unless you like UNSAFE living conditions and being jipped out of your money in general, spend the extra $50-$100 to live at a respectable complex that doesn't have their head up their ass.

This retirement community was supposed to be economical, safe, and convenient. Meals were supposed to be discounted, with many services like a shopping shuttle and medical transportation included. In truth, they could have lived in a bigger, more luxurious room at the Best Western down the street and eaten all their meals at a local restaurant for less money than they ended up paying. After move-in, the free shopping shuttle and medical transport were shut down because Friendsview "couldn't find a driver to hire". This, to my knowledge, has never been subsequently addressed. Their 500 sf apartment cost them $1200 per month, initially. They ended up cooking their own meals because meals were $12 each ($72 per day for 3 meals for 2 people). Eventually, my FIL had to go into the Friendsview memory care program, which was supposed to be a greatly discounted program for residents of Friendsview. Thereafter, the monthly rent and fees amounted to $3000. That did not include supplies used in the memory care unit. They were charged for every item supplied, every aspirin, and every latex glove at exorbitant rates. To add injury to insult, workers in the memory care unit mismanaged my FIL's medication. Because one of the medicines was causing him to slip into unresponsiveness , his doctor ordered it stopped. When he was found unresponsive a few days later it became apparent that he was being given the medication despite a note in his chart to stop that medication. My in-laws granddaughter is an RN, and when she questioned why the drug was still being given staff argued with her that it was doctor's orders. The financial burden was more than my MIL could sustain long term, so when my FIL died she moved out, abandoning the $150K buy-in money. Our experience is that these people are dishonest, uncaring, incompetent, and will squeeze every penny out of their clients that they can. Avoid this place like the plague.

Not only did she help us unpack and organize most of a three car garage worth of boxes, she set up a system that we've been able to maintain.
