Sometimes, a half hour goes by before they even take dinner orders. Seniors who could manage a cafeteria line could get their food, eat, and then do whatever they want but they are bound to use the dining room. Too much pork, too many sauces, terrible pizza, things mixed with cheese, and iceberg is the only lettuce they use in their salads. Communications are poor. Many residents miss meals or come to few of them or do not come to this or that meeting for one reason or another. Yet, sometimes, announcements are sometimes made before meals or at a meeting. Staff knows not everyone is there. They seem to be counting on word of mouth. The other system for sharing information is one of blaring loudspeakers in the hallway. A senior with compromised hearing have told me that, like me, they can hear it but cannot make out what is being said. A member of the Christian community chose the Wednesday night film: The Chosen--a film series about Jesus. Being a series, it tied up each Wednesday night with its Christian film. There was no consistency in care. The rooms smell of urine and their belongings were frequently stolen, including our mom's wedding ring. Management made many promises about the care and services our parents would receive. They did not deliver on their promises. A male resident punched our mom and she fell to the floor and was badly injured. We were not notified of the incident. When visiting, we questioned how she sustained injuries and one of the caregivers shared what had happened and that the staff was directed not to tell us what the incident. This is not a place you want your loved one. We moved our parents and deeply regret that they were exposed to such horrible conditions.

They have shown up hour late, ask me for the parking pass they're gone for another hour they work approximately half hour then they take an hour break where they leave my apartment and go somewhere. I have had a caregiver show up here saying she wasn't going to do something that didn't need to be done so she didn't vacuum she didn't sleep she didn't mop she didn't disinfect she didn't do the dishes she didn't do anything but take up space. You cannot get a hold of somebody, their phone system they keep saying is messed up and they don't know why but it's been messed up for 2 years now. They have lots of excuses and make lots of promises yet nothing changes.
