Everything seemed really great BEFORE I had tenants, there was lots of open communication, she explained everything. I felt like we were partners. But then as soon as I had people interested in the house, I had NO INFORMATION given to me about any of the financials. I was not privy to their lease agreement, the amount of the deposit, anything. I was also not given any information about when payments would be disbursed until I reached out and asked. This didn't feel like transparency. I was finally given my first payment 12 days after tenants moved into my house. I received a very small fraction of what they paid on move in. This was expected! Expensive, but expected. What was not expected was the re-key fee that Best Life charged me. I left complete sets of keys, there was no need to charge me the rekey. This shouldn't have been a big deal, but I received nothing but defensive communication in response. No apology. She offered to remove the fee but didn't apologize, when I explained why I was frustrated she FIRED ME. That was it. I would have loved for this to be a great experience with no hidden fees--this business advertises pricing transparency--but instead, on my very first disbursement there was a hidden fee. Disappointing to say the least. ALL I NEEDED WAS AN APOLOGY, INSTEAD SHE FIRED ME. I have no idea what will happen to my poor tenants.

I forgot to cancel the autopay through my bank. I called in and was told that the check will be sent out soon. Two weeks passed. I called in again. The property manager told me that they only send out checks every two weeks or so. And they do not have the ability to electronically transfer money. We live in 21st century where money is transferred simply through your cell phone. Moreover, they withdraw electronically every month, yet, to pay back an overpaid amount, they do not have the means, skills, or knowledge to take an action. They should have paid it back immediately after each overpayment was received. Yet, they took no action. Very dishonest managers who have no answer to most questions and have no emotional intelligence to help customers who are paying for their salaries.

When I moved out, I was shocked that my entire $2,800 security deposit was withheld despite what I believe was only minimal normal wear and tear. That was an extremely disappointing outcome. During my tenancy, I also experienced ongoing frustration with maintenance. In my experience, maintenance requests were not addressed in a timely or satisfactory manner, and I often felt that repairs were handled with little urgency. I also felt that I was treated differently by the property manager, Leana, and my interactions left me with the personal impression that I was not treated fairly or respectfully. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering renting from Greenbridge Properties to thoroughly document the condition of the property with detailed photos and videos at move-in and move-out, keep copies of all maintenance requests and communications, and carefully review the lease before signing.
