I had some inquiries of what would be required and asked why it was my responsibility as the home owner. Apparently I misunderstood the intent of Ms. Harper's communication and designation of what was my responsibility. In response, I am going to share the actual verbiage of her email to me: "Mr. Jones, Did you even read through the documentation I sent? I am not suggesting you get the HOA document provided by the HOA. I am suggesting you fill out the SELLERS PROPERTY DISCLOSURES. And in fact, I'm suggesting you find another realtor. I am not going to deal with your attitude. Best, Ms. Harper" Shocking to say the least... We had set up a photo shoot that was two business days away and were set to list the house in four business days. All of a sudden, some standard questions become a resignation of service. Thanks for leaving me with nothing! If you like this sort of service, then this group is right for you. The individuals in this organization have a lot of fancy titles obtained by attending various classes and courses, I know it all looks great on paper. Property Management, particularly in Portland, is a tough gig. However what I'd like to talk about is what they honestly do well at C&R. I can sum it up in three words: 1. Growth 2. Flexibility 3. Benefits Growth: you don't need a degree to get in the door. If you are smart and capable you will have opportunities to rise. I started at an entry level position in a leasing office on-site and eventually obtained the position of Director of Training at the corporate office within 5 & 1/2 years. There is a wonderful training program in place, and Joel Hildago is a gem of a trainer! Flexibility: C&R is very accommodating of employee needs and schedules. After I had my son in 2021, I was allowed to work from home for two days a week until I was able to obtain full time child care. Benefits: C&R has very competitive benefits. They have a graduated vacation scale depending on years of service that increases over time. They have a really competitive health care plan. They have free financial advising and home buyer help with their Employee Assistance Program. Also, they just added a matching 401k benefit! In addition to the traditional benefits, there are fun employee appreciation things that occur. For example, they threw me a baby shower when I was pregnant with my son and they sent me a care package after he arrived. Another benefit is that there are a lot of cool people that work there (too many to name)! I really can't thank Craig McConachie enough for the opportunity he gave me. Not only is he one of the best bosses I have worked for, he's just the kindest and most humble human. I'm grateful to have experienced his leadership. The professional skills and experience I gained at C&R are invaluable. If you are a property management professional and you are considering joining the team, I say go for it! Whenever we needed anything addressed, they always led with integrity and trustworthiness. The Claremont is located in a bustling area of SE Portland with lots of eateries and shops within walking distance from home, which we appreciated. The unit we rented had a lot of natural light and storage and was very clean. The landscaping and common areas were also well maintained and we found that the extra storage assigned to our unit suited our needs. We appreciated the online portal Greenbridge utilized to simplify the process for making rent payments and scheduling maintenance. When the time came for us to leave after we bought a home in the area, Greenbridge was stellar in their professionalism and worked with us to schedule the walk-through and return our deposit. Finalizing the transition was very easy. Everyone who works at Greenbridge Properties is excellent at what they do. It was always a pleasure working with them, from receiving the keys to returning them. We also recommend Claremont Apartments for people interested in living in the heart of SE Portland's energizing culture.

i was a renter of mcneeley properties for five years, and lemme tell you: they do not care about…read moreanything but getting your money. i mean like, sure, they're a business first. but they make it very apparent that they are not there to assist their renters in any way. when i moved out of my one bedroom apartment, i hired a cleaning service to shampoo the rugs. after i moved out, they contacted me trying to claim that the carpets had been left dirty-i had to provide them a receipt for the carpet service to get them off my back. they claimed the entire property was filthy and that they had to hire a service to clean it for me, which was also untrue. i provided the video i took upon leaving the property and they dropped the charges. when i first moved into my house-(second property i rented from them) there was a hole drilled into the front door right next to the lock. i believe it took a week of me calling them to get the door replaced before they had somebody-probably not a professional-to just... fill the hole with clear epoxy. also, when we first toured the property, it was clear that the previous owners had a large dog. you know, dog damage. pet smell in the carpets. the back yard had been dug up. we were assured these things would be repaired upon our lease start. Nope. none of those things were repaired. also, the yard, attic, and shed were full of junk from the previous owners. the three years we lived there, the fence around the back yard was actively collapsing, and mcneeley refused to do anything about it. our next door neighbors were ALSO constantly contacting mcneeley. the fence was so bad, that one neighbor's dog was able to break through it and run around in our yard. we sent video footage and photographs to mcneeley, to no response. i ended up repairing the fence with screws and plywood. we also had to repair the damaged backyard ourselves, filling in the holes left from the previous tenant. we also found shattered glass scattered throughout the back yard when we first moved in. when calling mcneeley and submitting maintenance requests, they consistently implied that we were misusing the appliances and threatened to charge us for repairs, nevermind that the appliances were incredibly outdated. when we moved out, mcneeley not only refused to return our deposit, they actually charged us more money, claiming that we left the house in disrepair. they claimed we left "junk," (the only things we left had been in the house when we moved in, we're not a junk hauling service) and they ALSO charged us to remove a "toilet device," aka a bidet that had been installed in the upstairs bathroom when we moved in. at this point, i've been dealing with these people for years and it's not worth it to fight their bogus charges a second time around. i would absolutely not recommend renting from mcneeley.

Clearly our building manager knows we have a dangerous thief in the building and nothing is being done. We have a police report and should have been shown the footage, bit instead we are ignored. If you work for this company, PLEASE, DO YOUR JOB! People pay rent to live here and we should be respected and cared for. Its not too much to respond to your tenants! Do not rent from this company! One year, on Christmas Eve a man was murdered in his apartment and the police are regularly there. I have an outstanding debt with Pinehurst management but they won't communicate how to resolve it. I've tried talking to the property manager and the office. Someone gave me the number to a collection agency and when I called, the agency had no record of the debt. I was grateful to be housed but beyond that, everything about living here has been an ongoing nightmare and I don't even live here anymore. Do what you have to do but try and avoid renting from the Louisa Flowers or Pinehurst Management if you can.

Darcy Paquette Keller Williams…read more Don't be fooled by this woman's sweet demeanor and positive language. She is dishonest and CHEAP. Although I was the only one who could do what she asked for a reasonable price compared to others she has not paid for the services rendered that allowed her to sell her home. Darcy contracted me to fix her deck as the buyers inspection noted some problems. I gave a detailed quote (estimation) and squeezed her in as she was trying to close her real estate deal. The real estate deal closed BEFORE we started work and Darcy paid the new owner only the amount quoted. We did the work, sent the invoice, and Darcy was no where to be found. She wanted me to get the money out of the new owner. The new owner had not contracted us. Darcy has contracted us. The materials came in higher than expected and the new owner only paid us the quoted amount. Darcy has done nothing but push back and argue and make excuses. Her unprofessional behavior and lack of respect for me and my family in sticking us with her materials cost dumbfounds me. I'm now going to have to file in small claims court as she refuses to pay the additional amount which is less than $600... in a nearly 7 figure real estate deal this is inconsequential. For my one man company it means the difference of paying my bills or not.
