I've lived at Trillium Square for a year and a half and my experience here has largely been…read moreamazing. The apartment managers Pat and Allen were great. However, they left the job and now we are without a manager which has caused problems. My fridge and freezer have not been working for nearly 4 weeks at this point. I spent two weeks trying to get in contact with the apartment manager and left multiple voicemails explaining the situation. I did not know how to file a work order as this is my first apartment. Previously Pat and Allen were kind enough to walk me through things when I had questions. Eventually we went up the chain of command after receiving no calls back. A person came down from Portland with the repairman to take a look at our fridge/freezer and give an estimate for repair. The person from Portland was super rude and seemed mad that she had to be here. The repairman diagnosed the problem as being an issue with the fan in the fridge/freezer that would need to be replaced. He did not fix anything that day. The person from Portland gave us information on how to digitally file a work order if our fridge/freezer still wasn't working. I filed a work order on 2/6/22 explaining the problem and what needed to be fixed. I received a comment on 2/7/22 clarifying that the "fix" did not solve the problem. I responded on 2/9/22 at the fridge/freezer was still not working because no fix was performed just an estimate. There has been no further communication at this time. Having a functioning fridge/freezer is vital to the safety and wellbeing of renters. It is the job of management to swiftly address essential services like this. I am very disappointed with how management does not seem to care about our health or safety. Due to our non-functioning fridge/freezer we have had to throw out many pounds of food. I have loved living in this apartment complex because overall the experience has been very good. However, management does not get to ignore the needs of the renters just because there is currently no manager living on site. By not swiftly fixing the problem, they are creating a hazardous living environment for their tenants.

She was yelled at outside of her apartment in front of other people because my friend hired a carpet cleaner and didn't get it cleared with Ms J. Every time my friend needs help with something, she CAN'T get Ms. J to answer her. This is the SECOND time that Ms. J has treated my friend POORLY. My friend is worried that she is going to get evicted if she says anything to Ms. J's boss about the way she is being treated. My friend was so embarrassed by Ms. J. How darn a landlord treat a PAYING tenant this way??? DON'T move into Trillium Square Apartments. Oh and this is the only tenant that Ms. J has been rude to.

I would give it less stars if I could Take this as a warning…read moredo not rent here!! The manager is a very difficult skinny mean and empathetic woman who is very very very hard to deal with. Watch out for Lora. They lie about how the apartments are and they really are not at all family friendly. In fact, their little yard space is a health hazard. Living here felt like a halfway house with so many rules that you're afraid to do anything. Do not send anything allowed to have company do not plan on ever having anything on your porch or even a wreath on your door. Be aware that you'll be watched like a hawk and you will be cited for every little thing that you do. Be aware of the creepy, neighbors, and the men that sit outside and smoke all day.

I have had my tire valve stem caps taken off all 4 tires several times. My car has been scratched as well. These kids block the sidewalks. I've even had them yell less than good things to me. Their parents support and defend them no matter what, because their children apparently never lie. You will see 1 stars and 5 stars on their reviews because the managers write reviews as well, not people who live here. The 1 stars are for the actual residents who have been here for a few months.

My in-laws paid their $150K move-in fee on the basis of the promises made over the course of…read moreseveral years that the rent and minimal fees were all inclusive. This retirement community was supposed to be economical, safe, and convenient. Meals were supposed to be discounted, with many services like a shopping shuttle and medical transportation included. In truth, they could have lived in a bigger, more luxurious room at the Best Western down the street and eaten all their meals at a local restaurant for less money than they ended up paying. After move-in, the free shopping shuttle and medical transport were shut down because Friendsview "couldn't find a driver to hire". This, to my knowledge, has never been subsequently addressed. Their 500 sf apartment cost them $1200 per month, initially. They ended up cooking their own meals because meals were $12 each ($72 per day for 3 meals for 2 people). Eventually, my FIL had to go into the Friendsview memory care program, which was supposed to be a greatly discounted program for residents of Friendsview. Thereafter, the monthly rent and fees amounted to $3000. That did not include supplies used in the memory care unit. They were charged for every item supplied, every aspirin, and every latex glove at exorbitant rates. To add injury to insult, workers in the memory care unit mismanaged my FIL's medication. Because one of the medicines was causing him to slip into unresponsiveness , his doctor ordered it stopped. When he was found unresponsive a few days later it became apparent that he was being given the medication despite a note in his chart to stop that medication. My in-laws granddaughter is an RN, and when she questioned why the drug was still being given staff argued with her that it was doctor's orders. The financial burden was more than my MIL could sustain long term, so when my FIL died she moved out, abandoning the $150K buy-in money. Our experience is that these people are dishonest, uncaring, incompetent, and will squeeze every penny out of their clients that they can. Avoid this place like the plague.
