Amazing BBQ but their sides? The best BBQ sides I've ever had. Ever. Friendly people and amazing service. So glad we found this place! Hope to see you in Tishomingo soon!!

The BEST bbq we have ever had. We were late enough that we had to settle for pulled pork and bologna. The sauce is homemade, duh...the sides are not an after thought, they are incredible. The beans are worth the trip by themselves.

Ribs, sausage, apple cider slaw and cheesy potatoes and their homemade bbq sauce. VERY good!

So good, will come again when in Pawhuska. Friendly owners , love the authentic atmosphere in here.

Building, two different meat plates, inside decor

The food was great, the ambiance charming and the owners so pleasant and welcoming. If you don't want the hum drum expected food at the mercantile with a 4 hour wait, head down the block to this wonderful little gem! The meats are deliciously juicy and smoked to perfection, the homemade bbq sauce delish, "grandmas" cheesy potatoes and "moms" okie beans all hit the spot!!

The 3 meat combo. Ribs brisket and chicken with cheesy potatoes

The food just wasn't good way to much liquid smoke the brisket was chewy you could play tug a way with the fat in the sides. I'm all for small Oklahoma businesses but was hoping for better the service was fast and quick

Brisket , shredded chicken, Louisiana rice and cheesy hashbrowns

We are in town from Iowa and nothing is open on Sunday in Pawhuska, except Trigger's and thank god! We got the shredded chicken, brisket, cheesy hash browns and Louisiana rice!! YUM!!! I went back and got two more orders to take back to IA!

The customer service was amazing, and the food was great! I recommend getting the cheesy taters and the baked beans.

Stopped in the middle of the afternoon while driving Route 66. Had pulled pork sandwiches, which were good.

A 2+ hour drive from OKC for lunch might sound like a commitment--but when a place has been on your…read moreradar for years, sometimes you just make the trip. That's exactly what we did to visit The Pioneer Woman Mercantile, and overall, it delivered a really enjoyable experience. The Experience We planned ahead and made online reservations (highly recommended), especially when you're traveling that far. We arrived about 30 minutes early, checked in, and spent some time browsing the retail shop. It's well-stocked with plenty of Pioneer Woman flair--fun to look around, even if nothing made it into our cart this time. We were seated right on schedule, and our server, Tatyana, set the tone immediately--friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. The Food Let's start with the surprise... Biscuits with butter & peach jam -- I'll be honest, I'm not usually a biscuit guy, but these were soft, warm, and downright addictive. Chicken Fried Steak -- This is what you come for. Crispy coating, tender inside, and covered in a rich, peppery gravy that hits all the right notes. Classic comfort food done right. Ribeye Steak -- Well-seasoned and cooked properly. My wife originally wanted a loaded baked potato (they were out), so she pivoted to loaded mashed potatoes--which turned out to be a solid backup plan. Side Salads -- Fresh, simple, and a good balance to the heavier entrees. Don't Skip the Bakery (Upstairs!) We passed on dessert at the table and headed upstairs--and this might have been the best decision of the day. * Pecan Pie Cookie -- Absolute standout. Rich, sweet, and unique. Don't leave without one. * Snickerdoodle & Iced Lemon Cookie -- Both excellent and gone quickly. Atmosphere The space feels exactly how you'd expect--warm, inviting, and comfortable with a touch of that signature Ree Drummond style. The lighting, decor, and layout all make it a place you don't feel rushed to leave. The Verdict Was it worth the drive? Yes. Would I do it again? Also yes--especially as a planned day trip. It doesn't quite hit that 5 level for me, but it's a very strong 4 experience with great service, solid food, and a memorable setting. @cheft_2469 Scorecard * Food: * Service: * Atmosphere: * Value: Pro Tips (Read Before You Go) * Make a reservation - This is a destination spot and fills up fast, especially on weekends. * Arrive early - Gives you time to browse the retail shop before your table is ready. * Skip dessert at the table - Head upstairs to the bakery instead... trust me on this one. * Get the Pecan Pie Cookie - Non-negotiable. It's the standout item. * Chicken Fried Steak is the play - If you're on the fence, this is the safe bet. * Have a backup side in mind - Items like baked potatoes can sell out. * Plan it as a day trip - Pawhuska isn't just lunch, it's the whole experience. * Go before peak tourist season - You'll enjoy it more without the heavy crowds. "Sometimes the best meals aren't just about the food--they're about the road trip, the experience, and who you share it with. This one checked all those boxes."

The whole town is booming with shops and other opportunities for you to experience but when you go into her personal store, thousands of items on display for you to choose from whether it's for home decor or four just getting some unique pottery Bourne items for your kitchen. It's a great stop. We have been there multiple times throughout the years. To suggestions of course as you must go there to have their breakfast you will tremendously enjoy it their biscuits homemade fresh. You will truly love their biscuits. You most definitely have to try out their bakery. It's up the stairs, but I tell you one thing you are going to love it and regret it at the same time so many great options to choose from made fresh right there and you can even watch them make it and it's actually pocketbook friendly on their bakery items which I wasn't expecting. I was thinking it would be a little bit more pricey but I think about five or six items and spent less than 40 bucks in each item is a good portion size. Last thing I would suggest is make sure to see if they have any samples cause it doesn't hurt to ask and usually they do have samples coming out every hour or so so you could enjoy and even try it before you buy it So if you're here in that area, I suggest you stop in. You won't regret it. It'll be fun and a great place just to grab a goodbye to eat

P-Town is owned by Ree Drummond who is well known for her show, The Pioneer Woman, on the Food Network. The menu has some tantalizing pizza combinations along with some old favorites. We ordered the steakhouse pizza. For a person that only eats traditional pizza combos- I have to admit this was the most flavorful pizza I've eaten. It was loaded with medium-rare beef sliced thin, mushroom chips, red onions, tangy sauces among other goodies. I definitely recommend it. They also have a full bar. I tried the ranch water- purported to be a favorite of Ree's and it was a refreshing addition to the warm weather. They also offer a selection of craft Oklahoma beers. The service was great. We sat outside on the second story balcony to eat. Which was nice because it was shaded from the evening sun.
