We live in another state so we won't be taking class here so I cannot speak to that however, I was given a tour of the dojang by a proud business owner (Master Laura) and can tell you that compared to the many dojangs I've seen, this place is tops when it comes to integrity and pride in the individual student. Stop by and just look at the walls filled with Kukkiwon certifications....Wow! Very impressive. Like I mentioned, I cannot speak to the quality of instruction, etc...and therefore cannot give 5 stars but if appearances are anything, this is a good place to practice your art.

We called Louis and some other local stores but he was the only one that called us back. We set up an appointment and he showed up on time and was amazingly helpful. We shared our concerns about having to leave town ( we both live out of state ) with my fathers collection sitting in the house with no one there. Louis offered to store the collection while we finished probate and also gave us a fair price on the appraisal. I would highly recommend Louis and Metal Gear Armory fit his knowledge, honesty and patience ! Horrible. Door was locked, I and 5 others arrived before our required time 1140, I tried the door…read moreinitially at 1135. One person got in before I arrived at 1130. 5 of us were letting outside trying all the doors, we knocked and banged and when someone came outside, unrelated to our testing we finally got inside. We didn't get into the building until 1215. We waited outside the room until 1225, which the owner came out and yelled at all five of us. We tried to appeal to her and say to check the cameras but she didnt have access. Her male coworker tested it out and proved us wrong. While we actively were trying to tell her that he was locked out, she wouldn't conceed that she was wrong. It may have not been her fault but she had no sympathy. We finally got her to agree that if TMU reached out she would confirm the story. She refused to send another email and admit the mistake. A person in a another suite manually locked the door after the first tester arrived. The man was very nice and defended us.

Despite billing being the school's responsibility, I repeatedly received payment notices and aggressive emails asking me to pay out of pocket. I was told to disregard them, which created unnecessary stress. As his funding was nearing its end, I asked multiple times when his last class would be. Staff said only the owner, Brad Hansen, had that information, but no one ever followed up. After driving 45 minutes to attend class during severe weather, we were informed--without prior notice--that his final class had already passed and he was no longer scheduled. There had been no communication at all. Additionally, unused make-up classes due to closures and illness were never addressed. This experience showed a lack of communication, organization, and professionalism. Families--especially those navigating special needs services--deserve clear communication and accountability.

The materials are used for teaching at OSU, as well as research, and the collections can also be viewed by groups, classes, and individuals by arranging a visit in advance with the museum. Annually, the museum hosts an open house, when anyone can stop by. Kids are encouraged, as well, and the staff and volunteers do a great job of putting together fascinating activities and information using samples from the various collections, as well as showing the types of equipment and methods they use to collect samples.
