I did my recertification for BLS and ACLS here and all I can say is WOW! The instructors were amazing! The class as informative and also interactive. The equipment used and mannequins were the latest releases from the American Heart Association. Doing the practice demos in class felt like a real life experience because of the new advances with the mannequins made sure that you were performing high quality CPR. During my ACLS training, the instructors went over intubation and all the different airways. They give you practice time on those skills so it's very interactive. They also showed me how to use an IO approach which is something I have not encountered in the hospital setting. The courses are thorough and the instructors are always there to help along the way with their expertise in this field. I highly recommend Rapid Response Training to those who want to learn, be challenged and gain knowledge that will last a lifetime! read more

Can I say AWESOME. This was one of the best learning experiences in my 20+yrs of being a Nurse. I have gone through ACLS every two years and I do not look forward to this class. High strung/power hungry Instructors. Difficult tests. Not learning anything. Well, let me say, I learned more at this class than I have since Nursing school. -Study material was sent out prior to class, this helped me pass the test! The Instructors were leave headed and beyond helpful. We learned, tested, and practiced as a group. We ran the codes as in real life, with each of us taking the lead. I have reviewed my AHA BLS through Rapid Response over the past 7 years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Sue is highly knowledgeable and her background as an EMT is woven throughout her classes, as well as is her humor. This is the BEST experience with re-certification of both ACLS and PALS I've ever had. I've certified both here twice and it's wonderful. The instructors are kind, helpful and most importantly informative. I can be paid to take classes through my hospital but choose to come here instead. I had an issue with the AHA website and it wasn't allowing me to take my pre-test. The girls here at rapid response responded to my email the same day I sent it and found a way to circumvent the issue so I could take the required pre-test. This place is the best to get your CPR renewed at. My instructor, Sue Perlick, was a fantastic instructor that covered all of the material in an organized, timely fashion that was easy to follow along with. I would recommend this place if you are looking to pass your exam. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually enjoyed my ACLS certification class today. In school, our class was 2 days long and very serious and intense. This class was only a few hours (depends on class size and level of preparation of students!) and was very laid back. The goal was to ensure we knew the ACLS algorithms and associated knowledge. The provided snacks and a variety of beverages which was a nice, hospitable touch. I will be going back for my BLS, ACLS, and PALS re-certifications in 2019. read more

I signed up the day before the class and still got a seat. The instructors were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about CPR. Everyone had their own adult and infant practice mannequin. The instructors stayed to answer my questions and let me practice infant choking after class. They have everyone free pocket cards and a CPR shield keychain at the end. Very affordable class, as well. They took all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. read more

I took both ACLS and BLS at Rapid Response Training. What a wonderful experience. I was nervous when I took BLS, however after taking it, they made me feel so relaxed and confident in my skills that I took ACLS there as well. This was my second time renewing my BLS at rapid response. I had Sue both times; she's amazing, engaging, and captivating. The class goes by so fast! I also loved the new mannequins - they have lights on the shoulder that indicate if your chest compressions are correct, not deep enough/not providing enough recoil etc. I, personally, found that to be so helpful!
