Being a provider working swing shifts, email sometimes get missed. I missed my delivery notification and read it 6 days later post call. I saw my package in the mail room and informed trifecta as well as skipping my next delivery which was the next day. Will H. was my agent. He explained to me that deliveries are canceled 7 days prior and the recent delivery isn't for consumption anymore. Although, my current delivery cannot be canceled, as a courtesy, he refunded my last delivered meals. He answered my inquiries promptly and professionally. Amazing customer service and delicious meals. Much appreciated and definitely a 5 star. read more

It was a rocky start with this service and almost cancelled my subscription but hearing from Jason changed my perspective of the business. He went above and beyond with reaching out to me to make things right and quickly followed up with an email confirming everything that was said. I appreciate all his efforts in gaining me back as a respected customer. I have decided to give them another chance. I have enjoyed the meals and really hoping it all works out going forward. read more

Would you eat these??? Been doing Factor for months, thought I'd try Trifecta out.. nnnnoooppe 4 of the 7 meals were open, food everywhere.. Had to throw out the whole box. Still waiting on a response - Steer clear read more

Every meal I've purchased has upset my girlfriend and I stomach. No matter what meal we've tried each and every single one never felt right and almost always made us feel uneasy. I recommend you only try for a week so you don't have the same experience we've had. We still got charged for the next week even though we have issues with our food! The customer service is unhelpful in our issues or helping us cancel our subscription. I would hope a subscription this expensive would have better results read more

I was considering returning to Trifecta after trying several services. I chatted with Kenzie R. on the customer service team, who quickly answered my questions and helped with kindness. The options for meals or meal prep are awesome. It makes it so easy to stay on track, and my orders were never late or incorrect. After trying a ton of other options, I'm back for good. Nothing compares and I know I can always get help quickly. Thanks, Kenzie! read more

After a long search for organic/pastured/wild caught foods to be delivered, Trifecta has been great and their customer service is stellar - thanks Emily Barnes for your help! Are they the most exciting meals? No, but they are tasty and filling (even though they look nothing like the online photos). They can even accommodate a Whole30 diet, a keto diet, a paleo diet, or just an all-around real foods diet. :-D read more

I absolutely love this company that I can't stop raving about their delicious meals and I've had great results and friends commenting on my physique now that I'm eating clean. Always been a healthy eater and tried other meal prep companies but this one is the most reliable, organic and consistent. It allows me to have way more time for myself and not have to think about cooking. Emily is so fantastic with responding quickly to any issue or questions I have. She really cares about providing a first class service. I'm so happy with Trifecta and even able to modify to add extra protein if you need. Meals plans for everyone vegan , keto. A lot of variety. You won't regret! read more

This is the most tasty of any meal preps we've used. We live in the DC area and after my wife went back to work I decided to try to find a meal prep service to reduce our work load. I can not express how happy I am with the quality. We have a convection oven and every meal takes 8-9 minutes. We are doing Keto as I was seriously injured in Afghanistan early on and am dealing with the long term pain after 16 years post destruction . I contacted today asking for promotions to share with others with whom I work and Kenzie went above and beyond sending me promotions I'll pass along to the folks I've been bragging to about how much I enjoy the meals. Our first week of ordering I must not have been wearing my glasses and input one digit off on our address and the order could not be delivered. I contacted Trifecta and spoke to Austin. He immediately corrected my address and sent us a whole new order for free (Austin, I hope I don't get you hammered). Trifecta's customer service had me at that point and I should have posted a review then - but......since you've seen I need glasses, all this social media is still a work in progress . read more

Not worth it. My box arrived damaged and multiple containers inside the box were leaking and damaged.

Food is decent tasting. Love that there are options to choose due to my dietary/allergy issues. But the ability to cancel is incredibly difficult. And hard to guarantee delivery times. I definitely had rotting food on my porch one week when I was away with no refund or discounts. read more

Their service has went to crap. Also they have apparently stopped answering any calls or chats for support. Chats just close on you due to high demand and the calls hang up on you after waiting for 10+minutes. Update: Cancelled today through email. My order came with missing meals and still not the same quality as they used to be. Not sure what happened to this company. I used to be very happy with them read more

My experience has been incredible with Trifecta thus far! I originally ordered just the a la cart classic meals and although they were exactly what I was going for in regards to direct and to the point meals with out much additions such as sodium, I eventually opted for Clean meals. Clean meals provide more variety and flavor while still being well balanced, well portioned meals. This saves me so much time and I look forward to all my meals. If I were to calculate the amount of time it would take for me to make a grocery list, go to the store, by all I need and then meal prep 10 meals for the week, it would prove to not be worth the time when a company like Trifecta exists. I've compared their meals to other brands and Trifecta is one of the only companies to get it right. Low sodium content in most of their meals while having a nice balance of macro nutrients. With my heavy work schedule this has truly made my life much more productive and healthy! I had one small issue with missing a meal and Kenzie from their team was right on it and immediately apologized and refunded. In addition to that, they have an amazing promotion where they give you free 1lb of chicken for the life of your subscription and Kenzie was able to get that approved for me as well! So awesome, this will definitely help my gains!! I read other reviews about the sustainability and packaging. To those complaining, you are saving at least 5-10 hours of time a week by having Trifecta meal prep, so why complain about having to spend 5 minutes to recycle the packaging responsibly. Plus, I hear they are changing the packaging to be even more sustainable. Great work Trifecta!! read more

I just got my first meal delivery last Friday, here is my experience with Trifecta : I paid for two weekly meal plans, one is paleo, another one is vegetarian. I only got my vegetarian meals on Friday, when I asked them where is my other package, ends up they forgot to send me the paleo meal plan, they said the kitchen will send the package on Saturday, it will be same-day delivery. It didn't come, I emailed and called them on Saturday afternoon, nobody picks up the phone, nobody tells me why they only sent me half of the items I ordered, instead they just keep telling me it will come soon. I'm a busy person who doesn't have time to cook but ends up I spent more time trying to coordinate with their service department to find my missing meals. Updates: I received my missing meal today, Jan 26th, the Tuesday. after talked to five persons in the past three days. I still missed one meal and received 4 wrong meals(lunch/dinner instead of breakfast). All of our food covered with dark red liquid. - they said they are ink runoff from the label. The good thing is their food service manager contact me and my husband after this happened, they apologized and gave us part of refund for the unsatisfied package. But what we need the most is not the money but the quality food and good service, honest and tell the truth to your customer! read more

Right now, I'm currently on the fence. The Vegetarian and Vegan options seem VERY lack-luster. Small portions, very low calories and very low protein. When I saw Trifecta was for athletes (or at least generally active people), I expected more calories and more protein. The Brown Rice and Orange Broccoli meal is super tasty but, again, very small. The Vegan Alfredo with Broccoli was a super disappointment. There was zero sauce, and zero flavor. Just mushy pasta and broccoli. A few of the meals with more protein feature tofu, which is great, but it looks like an uncooked slab with some seasoning on top. Again, some of the meals are very tasty. While others look to be a complete afterthought in order to check off the "Vegan/Vegetarian demographic". I would love to see higher protein & calorie meals with a little more thought put into higher protein ingredients (unless Trifecta is only targeting those who are trying to lose weight). I have a few more meals to go through so we'll see how it goes. read more

Trifecta food was barely palatable and incredibly bland. Everything was watery and dry at the same time and absolutely flavorless. You don't have the ability to pick your meals so I got a mix of some things that looked nice (curry salmon) and some things that looked like $1 of sad cafeteria food (2 chicken wings and frozen vegetable medley for $13 are you kidding me). The mix and variety are surely how they make their money, but I'm definitely not buying again without the ability to pick my meals. The packaging is styrofoam and plastic and the trays are so hard to get open that you have to use a scissor - the opposite of easy. Also the meals just don't look fresh or appetizing. In the pics you can see sad looking turkey meatloaf, sad chicken drumsticks (2! Lol?) and then a nice looking patty (beef?) so it's really all over the place. Also, you have to order minimum 10 meals so you are really committed when you try it. Then, they make it impossible to cancel your subscription online! But don't worry.. they'll charge you. However, the 2 stars in this review are for the GREAT customer service. The agent was empathetic, apologetic and so wonderful. She helped me cancel my order and tried to bring me back with a nice offer. I went into the conversation feeling so angry and frustrated and left slightly better. The one thing this company is doing well is their CS. I hope they all get raises! read more

I really wanted to like this service. It's super convenient and I was really looking forward to not having to spend my Sunday's meal planning anymore. I got our first shipment and the food is VERY bland. I'm not looking forward to eating this all week and will be canceling. Update: Got through all meals that were delivered and I am so unhappy with this service. The salmon I received was folded in on itself and contained more grey fat than pick salmon. Disgusting! I fed it to my dog. read more

The food is ok, it can still be a bit soggier than other meals i have had. The packaging makes it hard to open which can be annoying. Ive had some good meals but there are better & cheaper options out there read more

Very disappointed. Do not trust advertising and the athletes that promote it. My boyfriend ordered the clean meal plan which is 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches/dinner for $207.06. When we got the order it had 7 peaches and cream oatmeal for breakfast. They put on their website a sample menu which had a least 3 or 4 different meals per breakfast and lunch. So we were very dissapointed to find 7 of the same meals which we couldve made ourselves. $14.79 per oatmeal whith terrible quality and taste. See picture. As for the other meals, the quality was not what you see in pictures from these athletes and on their websites. There are way better meal prep companies that are better tasting and cheaper. read more

I really wanted to like their food, but after trying Freshly, HelloFresh, Blue Apron, and Dinnerly I easily had the worst experience with Trifecta. You get zero choice on what meals you're going to get sent; and outside of two broad category restrictions, you are stuck with what you receive. Only 2 of my meals even looked remotely appetizing, and the rest I threw away. I even had three friends I tried to give away the food to and they said that the meals did not sound appetizing. Curry chicken? Beanless chili? Cod and mushrooms? The only way I'd order from them again would be the a la carte options; but even then, at that point I'd rather just buy fresh from the grocery store. PS: The two meals I did eat had an absurd amount of liquid/water after they were done cooking and it was really gross. I had to strain the food to get rid of all the food water. Definitely a way to build up an appetite! Don't be fooled by the celebrity endorsements. This food is gross and they don't give you choice. Hard pass. read more

Love to cook but when you want to stay healthy and routinize your meals/macros and food delivery in the age of COVID-19, Trifecta rocks. Over the years, I've tried Blue Apron, MamaSezz, SunBasket and Freshly. None of them come anywhere close to the deliciousness and nutritional value/glycemic load of Trifecta. Trifecta's food is tasty, fresh and on time. And their customer service is second to none. One point of constructive feedback. As an advocate for sustainable packaging, please find an alternative to styrofoam...I realize it's cheap for delivery but it's no good for the environment. read more

My Doc put me on all organic food, and I'm vegan and gluten free. It was WAY too hard - I LOVE Trifecta!!! Delicious, Nutritious - and BEYOND convenient! This has taken so so so much stress off me during a very stressful time. And everyone is so PROFESSIONAL - the customer service is STELLAR!!! Thanks Trifecta! read more

Very disappointing. The Paleo food from the first week looked like dog food and tasted like stew. The Clean30 Plan was slightly better only it contained mushy rice and either looked liked a side dish or more stew. The meals lack color, texture and flavor. Lots of ground meat or shrimp. ANY frozen dinner in the grocery store would taste better. They refunded 7 of the 10 meals from my first week. They shorted me 3 meals the second week and refunded that. The third week was more garbage...some of which I will throw away yet again. The food never looked like any pic on the Trifecta site. This was a complete waste of money. I appreciate the partial refund. The only good thing was the packing. The food was mostly frozen and the ice packs contain plant food. read more

Trifecta - 7 of my 10 meals arrived. I had to contact customer service myself but they did refund three meals. - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Sacramento, California

I would not spend the money on these bland meals. I had high hopes of making my days easier and having really good, nutritious meals so I ordered about 14 meals per week. I chose the Paleo plan. Sadly, I have received a ton of meals where there is a protein and basically potato or sweet potatoes with very little vegetables of any other kind. Always topped of with a bland and quite flavorless, sauce. My hubby who will eat anything is now taking them for lunches as I don't even want to eat any more of them. I froze them because I didn't want to waste them and the vacuum packs separated from the food on some of them, which makes me wonder if they're safely prepared. Make your own on the weekend, save money and eat fresher! read more

1. There's a lot of waste; 6 thick sheets of styrofoam and 6 ice packs per box, and the #5 plastic meal containers which aren't recyclable where I live. That being said, I have been told that the icepacks are filled with biodegradable gel, and that the company is looking to replace the styrofoam and meal trays to biodegradable materials soon. 2. You can't cancel the subscription yourself; you have to call or email a worker to do it for you. 3. The vegan meals are quite small and bland. read more

Food was so bland and veggies were mush. I received a order on Friday, the 6th, tried it throughout the weekend and realized it was not for us. They make it difficult to cancel online, so I sent an email on the 9th, because the next order said processing, and I wanted to cancel it asap. Today's the 11th and I've heard nothing back so I called in and because the food is in the process of being made they have to deliver it which makes no sense, because I don't want to throw it away, and waste food, but I would never eat it, and it isnt on a truck yet out for delivery so, ??? kenzie r was very helpful when i needed to skip my meals for a bit. food is good, plant based

Big fans of Trifecta. We first got into them as a recommendation from a friend when looking for a paleo friendly meal service that also didn't require a lot of work on our side. The food was good, kept for a couple weeks in the fridge (arrives vacuum sealed), and we found the portion sizes to be enough for 2 of us to share a single meal on some nights! We took a break from Trifecta for a bit, but recently resumed delivery a month or so ago, and it's been great. Not to mention that this is such a benefit during the crazy COVID-19 times we are in now where we are trying to isolate ourselves at home and not visit stores unnecessarily. The team at Trifecta has been consistently helpful, and even honored a discount for me for my tenure as a customer. If you're looking for a healthy meal delivery service, consider giving Trifecta a try! :) read more

Truly glad I purchased Trifecta. Really has made a difference in my lifestyle and has helped me to have great, quick meals without worrying about going to the store and reading labels. Precooked and delivered to my door ice cold and air tight, what's easier. A dot of oil, some garlic or my favorite sauce, put on stove for a few minutes and boom. Mealtime fast and delicious. Thanks Trifecta. read more

Meals are good but their operations are the worst I've been a customer for a while and 9 out 10 orders have missing items or replacements I didn't ask for Many orders arrived a day or two later and one didn't arrive at all. This company has been so helpful. I have ordered three weeks' worth 7 days @3meals per day (vegan). I can honestly say it is worth every penny. The food is super healthy and I feel like I'm doing a great thing for my body. The weight loss was an amazing side effect too without working out. I know I should have worked out, but quarantine has made me lazy. Also, although I've had a lot of great representatives whom I sadly have forgotten their names and wish I could include here, I can say that Kenzie has pretty much summarized my experience with the Trifecta company. She (like all the other representatives I've dealt with in Trifecta), has gone out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I'd also like to add, during COVID times, they have been understanding as well. Thank you Trifecta, Kenzie, and the others. read more

Due to be a busy healthcare worker I decided to try this meal delivery service along with 2 other services. This is my second week. Compared to the other 2 meal.delivery services, Trifecta is by far THE BEST one out there. I like that you can switch between the different meal plans. The flavor of these meals is just like restaurant quality but better because you get it delivered and warm it in the microwave. I'm going to keep getting Trifecta delivered and drop the other 2 services. I take them to work and eat them for lunch. I sometimes eat them for dinner if I'm short on time but want to eat healthy. I'm a fan. Highly recommend this service. read more

Deliveries are on sat (good) but the food is so boring. The meal plans are basically a repeat every week and even if you do the chef plan the food gets old and tired after about 2 weeks. Even rotating other meal plans i quit using them. A few other cons: the veges are not fresh and taste pickled, the meal wrapping is a pain in the butt, and the ice packs they put in the box always slip to the bottom so if you are not home to receive your food it will be warm by the time you get there. Also you get locked into a certain price after the first time you order so there is no flexibility. Overall: food is OK but very boring and repeated, and everything else is a hassle. read more

I have been using Trifecta for over a month now. I find that the portions are perfect. The calorie amount is perfect for what I would eat if I was making my own meals. The food is surprisingly good although some meals aren't great, but some I find to be fantastic. I chose the vegetarian option and I'm glad because twice my meals arrived a day late. I know that it's to be expected during Covid so I'm not complaining. I might be nervous to eat food that contained meat, though, if it arrived late. Most of the food seems to have more carbs than I might want and I'm starting to think that it's showing on my body although that can be caused by other factors so I'm not too quick to make that call. The packaging is possibly the biggest downside to this meal service. It's a lot of waste to throw away and then I worry about toxins in the plastic containers that I am heating up. I could heat it up on the stove top, but that takes away the convenience. All in all, it's decent food and it makes life easier while working through this pandemic and needing something to eat without endless shopping trips for food. I think the customer service is good. read more

The meals were a bit tasteless, and, they hardly ever vary them. even worse, not once, but twice, I found myself biting down on a STONE that was in the meal itself! I canceled seven days in advance but I got sent the order anyways because the seven day period was over a weekend. I would not recommend this company. read more

So very bad! The food is terrible. I didn't receive my "free chicken for life" with my first order as promised. I was told they'd send it with my 2nd order which totally messed up my meal planning for that first week. I feel like if you offer it, you provide it. Should've overnighted to me. However... Customer service is underwhelming. They are not responsive via chat and didn't answer the phone. I've had to contact them twice for 2 separate issues. Both times no timely response on their end. I barely received an apology regarding the 1st issue. Still awaiting a response on the 2nd. read more

My order didn't make it here on time (Friday, December 6). Despite multiple inquiries, they didn't contact me until December 7 to tell me it wouldn't come until December 9 or 10! The customer support tried to blame FedEx, but two individuals confirmed that it didn't even have a label printed (meaning that it was not FedEx) The problem with this is that I'm going to be out of town on the days they've proposed (and I told them this repeatedly) and now I have no meals to take with me and no time to make them!
