My wife and I just bought the home in 2023, and we're devastated as we watched everything get demolished and removed. We spent a lot of time looking at reviews online and selected 3 companies to come provide a quote. Miguel (the owner) immediately stood out from the others from the quality of his online reviews. We scheduled an appointment for him to come review the house and provide a quote. He arrived when he said he would arrive and was extremely thorough during his walkthrough of the house. He answered all of our questions (we had a lot) and consistently focused on "what do you actually want." He was the only contractor who wasn't focused on just rebuilding what was lost. He consistently stated that this is our chance to do things we wanted and provided insightful options. The total cost quoted was extremely competitive compared to the others, even with upgrades selected. He also stated that he would help with the insurance company and work with me while I dealt with them on payment. Little did my wife and I know at the time, but we made the absolute best decision that day. Miguel's crew began work immediately. As they worked through the house, they didn't just focus on the contract. They consistently went above and beyond in calling out issues with my house. Our home was built in 1973 and had poor quality remodels through the years. There were fire hazards with electrical work, rotting wood in my walls, and the support beams weren't properly bolted to my foundation. When they got to the flooring, my house was extremely uneven (which we knew because my son's balls would roll to the wall). They took the time to level out my floor before putting down the new flooring. Most companies would just hide these items and cover them up, sticking to the contract. Not here. They called them out one by one and provided solutions to build everything back correctly. This was such a huge blessing and shows that Miguel and team focus on quality. They consistently went above and beyond. Focusing on the little details (light switches and ceiling light placement) as much as the major items. During the remodeling process, his crew cleaned up every single day. They swept the house, took out trash, and never left a mess. On top of the quality work which you can see below. The items the really stood out to me are the following. Miguel always responded to phone calls, texts, and consistently showed up to the house to walk through the property with me. I always felt like I had a voice. There were a couple items that were completed, and I wanted to change slightly. Miguel took the time to understand our asks and never pushed back or complained around rework. He consistently focused on his original comments around "exactly what we want." He worked with me on payments when the insurance company was slow to payout and the bank held my funds in escrow, as promised. His promises around working with the insurance company also came through. He showed through actions, that he is a man of integrity and consistently delivered to those promises. We feel extremely blessed and would recommend this company to friends, family, and utilize them again in the future. What was a disaster has become a blessing. We have a brand-new home, completed timely, for a very reasonable price. We are over the moon to move home and can't stop talking about how beautiful our home is, far exceeding expectations. This is for California…read more My home warranty company contracted with Smartlock US (Dan's Pro-Lock) and I had a frustrating time trying to schedule an appointment. This was through text and they had very limited availability and flexibility in my area. I requested Wednesday and Friday afternoons, but they gave me Friday 10am-2pm as an option. I asked for another option (since I am at work in the morning) and they gave me a Friday 1-5PM option for the following week. I asked if it can be Friday 2-5PM because I work across the bridge in the morning, and wouldn't be sure I could get home by 1PM but could make it by 2PM. They said no, then offered me a Monday time even though I work all day Monday. I gave them several days and times of when I would be free (4 days!!) and asked if they can do this within a few weeks (asked July 15) and they said they have no availability until August!! They said they can only offer spots in routes that go through my town, they are not available any given day as they have different routes in different parts of the Bay Area, and they only use a 4 hour window. Last shot I asked again if Friday 1-5PM can be made into Friday 2-5PM so I can make sure I am home on time. They said no. WHY do they need a FOUR hour window of availability? Why can't three hours be enough? I highly doubt it takes 3 hours to perform my service request. I was so frustrated by their lack of availability and flexibility, I canceled the request. I was also frustrated I had to pay upfront a $95 service fee to my home warranty company and that they only contracted with this locksmith, I called and demanded a refund and cancellation of this service. Honestly would probably have better luck getting a local locksmith to help you out, I find local companies are more caring about helping out people in their community.

It's a dispatch service that calls out various locksmiths. After waiting almost an hour I received a call from the locksmith. He wanted to confirm the address. He could barely speak English. About 45 minutes after that I received a call from the dispatch service telling me that the locksmith was at my house. I told them that there was nobody outside my house. She said she would call and have him contact me. I told her I didn't want to talk to that person again because he barely speaks English and obviously couldn't find my address. The next thing I know they have dispatched a new person to my address. I asked him when he would be arriving and he simply said "I'm leaving now". After waiting over half an hour I called the dispatcher and cancelled the call. She offered to give me a 10% discount if I wanted to reschedule for the next day. I told her that she had already wasted over two hours of my time and I wasn't interested. A few minutes later I received a call from the second locksmith telling me that he was only 12 minutes away. I agreed to wait for him. Well he wasn't 12 minutes away, he was about 20 minutes away. He came in and did the job. I mentioned that the service had offered me a 10% discount for rescheduling. He began to give me the discount and I told him I didn't want him to pay me I wanted dispatch company to pay me. When I called the dispatcher to request my discount she told me that since I didn't reschedule I didn't qualify for the discount.
