There was never one company that stood out from the rest. There were either very high installation fees or DYI installation with cheap products and always very mixed reviews. I was starting to get pretty desperate but luckily stumbled across Home Star Protection on yelp. I never thought I would rave about an alarm system but can't stop telling everyone we know how great Home Star Protection is. Tim was great at explaining everything and only sold us what we absolutely needed. Having that initial consultation really sold us on the company. Jes was very professional throughout the installation process and took his time reviewing the entire system to us. I love that they use the current system your house already has and just upgrade it as needed. I feel so secure having this system. The alarm.com app and mymoni.com are very easy to use and offer a lot of great options. It's nice to know there are still good companies out there that won't try to take advantage of their customers.     The True Protection alarm system gives me a sense of safety and security in my home.  The alarm…read moresystem is just as safe as the burglar bars that were on my windows and doors before the new windows were installed which on the same day the alarm was installed. Alonse G installed my alarm system and I was really pleased.  He is indeed a professional subject matter expert.  Ask for him. I will add that the entire experience was rough on the sales side and the customer service side but, I am happy with the the end result.  On customer service I hope that Chris mailed the signs--I'm still waiting--it's been 10 days. Four stars for alarm system and installer!

Well, maybe he should stick to being a salesman and leave the manager's job to someone who actually knows how to treat people and put a company like Xfinity in its rightful place., Looking at the reviews; it seems they forget that they are an Xfinity store and treat all customers equally whether or not they are buying a new phone.

    So I go to Xfinity to get a $35 internet they tell me well they deceive me and tell me you just…read morebring it home plug it in it works well it doesn't work so I called the 1-800 number and they say well we'll have to send a technician but it's going to cost you $200 and I say no no I can't afford to pay for a technician to come they say well don't worry sir if if it's from no fault of your own the technician fee will be waived so they send me a text message telling me my bill is due I attempt to pay my bill but they won't accept my payment for my monthly bill without the $200 surcharge for the technician coming to my house so I get customer service on the phone I explained to them well you also me a plug and play system I brought it home I plugged it in it didn't work so I did what your pamphlets tell me to do when I call customer service customer service tells me don't worry sir because if it's no fault of your own you won't have to pay for the technician the technician comes out has to go to telephone pole run a coax from the telephone pole to my house he installs a box on the side of my house which now is falling off my house so he haphazardly installed a box on the back of my house to use as a junction box to connect his coax cable that he had to run from the telephone pole to my house and then after everything is done he tells me sir don't worry about it this is no fault of yours you'll not have to pay this $200 fee so I get a text message from Xfinity saying hey your payment is due so I call and try to make payment but they won't accept my payment for my monthly fee without the $200 surcharge for the technician and after hour on the phone explaining they just refused to accept the truth and the facts so they tell me don't worry sir just wait till your bill comes and then you can take care of it but you really need to go back to the Xfinity store and talk to the customer service person that sold you this so my Xfinity gets turned off after trying to make a payment two weeks before I was disconnected now they tell me well what credit you $100 but now you owe $13 there's no other debt on my account $200 was the debt on my account originally it was summarized as technician fee after confronting with the facts the truth and the reality they gave me $100 credit and then they gave me an alternate narrative which was you owe $13 now which is half of the technician fee the day was supposed to credit me and now I own the $103 not for the technician I own for a late fee disconnect fee etc etc again I tell the associate look at your system your system will reflect I've tried to make the payment before it was delinquent the only reason why payment is delinquent is because you wouldn't accept my payment without ripping me off for $200 for the technician at any rate Xfinity has no problem no problem lying deceiving and in fact just cheating their customers and presenting alternate facts and realities to justify them stealing from me be very wary of Xfinity
