I would leave negative stars if I could!!! I was also threatened with a letter from this companies attorney, that they would sue me for defamation if I didn't take down my review on google... they didn't follow through with the threat.. So later last year me and my fiancé had our house restored by Trident after a fire. Firstly, they were responsible for taking our belongings to clean and return back to us. The very first things they took were all of our jewelry including priceless pieces from childhood, and things passed down from family like promise rings, and of those many things we only received 8 singular pieces back, not including any of those more cherished items... They took multiple security items like cameras for in and outside, a pin pad, and door and window motion sensors. Which we only received one camera and the pin pad back. I had tried contacting them multiple times to see what happened or if they accidentally threw the stuff away... we at the very least wanted an explanation, because if there was a mistake of some kind we would've been more understanding. I talked to the project manager mainly, the lady who had a "team" of girls that were responsible for actually taking our things to clean. I talked with her a couple times and the owner once, as he stopped taking my calls or messages? Now that lady changed her story every single time we talked on the phone and through text. She first told me that they didn't take the things I said were missing, and that a different coworker had them, the story then changed to her telling me that someone came to our house while they were working on it and took the missing items, and that my fiancé approved of it. When I told him this of course he was livid because he only told them that he came to take a singular item out of one of the boxes to return to a store, and only time someone within our knowledge was inside our house was when my fiancé let an old housemate come to see the fire damage... he was with him during the event. No one else with our permission was let inside, or even had a key. We have made police reports and are still distraught about the situation. Adding onto this I have also seen other reviews about similar situations happening to other people, where specific things mainly jewelry go "missing" and I highly suggest others who've had similar experiences to speak up! This is all not to mention how the job took months longer than it was supposed to! Even our insurance company was surprised and confused when they contacted us 3 months after we were supposed to have already been moved back into the house and the job wasn't done. We deeply regret going through this company as we felt violated and taken advantage of throughout the entire process. Very unprofessional in my opinion... read more
