From the first communcations with Jacob, to the follow up with Joe, my experience with this company has been stellar. They performed expert work when installing my fireplace, working and communicating well with the other contractors on the project. After installation , and the fireplace was up and running, I had some questions about it. They sent Joe down from Cleveland (I live in Columbus) and he went over my questions and checked out the unit. I would recommend these guys, in a heartbeat, if you are contemplating hiring them for your job.

They were efficient, beyond courteous and paid close attention to detail. We would not hesitate to work with them again, nor to recommend them. For those who talk about the price difference, Medina Exterior's price was on par with another very reputable high-end company In the area with whom we also visited. In the past we had worked with another company which turned out to be a bitter disappointment. Dealing with that company and Medina Exteriors and Simply Distinct Kitchens & Baths was like comparing a tricycle to a Harley Davidson. With regard to the comment about a "consultation fee" - if you have been to any well-honed company, you would know this is how they all function. Why would anyone spend time, draw up specs, etc. for you to decide you don't want to do the job, or put it off for another year? The entire crew coming to view the project? It's fantastic. Each has questions about details and suggestions that you, yourself don't think of. When they leave, you feel that you've met with each professional that is going to be in your home working on your project. It's the formation of a good working relationship. Lastly, Medina Exteriors has an excellent reputation for standing behind their work. If they have come back for any small thing, they have done so promptly, efficiently and pleasantly. If you choose Medina Exteriors, you are working with good people who do quality work.

Project completed in early spring and by December of 1st winter it was chipping, pitting and falling apart. This damage has gotten worse and goes all the way up and down the driveway. At first it was beautiful, but forward to Spring of 2026, and I have flaking all down my driveway. Neighbors ask me who did my driveway and I tell them not to hire them. It is expensive, which I knew it would be, but to have it fall apart after 4 1/2 years, it had made me sick. My friend had hers done a year after me and hers is worse than mine. I trusted this company they should be ashamed of this. They said concrete cannot be guaranteed. I say BS. A friend on another street had them do his driveway 15 years ago, and it looks brand new. Maybe it was COVID but the concrete was cheap. They could at least fix it.
