Phil and his crew repaired garage that was damaged from tree falling. They showed up each morning on time and got the repairs completed in four days. Phil and his guys in the Phil's Construction are real pros. I recently hired them to finish our basement (adding a full bath, a bedroom, an office, a wet bar, a storage, and a utility room + storage). We have worked with a few contractors with A+ BBB ratings in the past for several of our rentals and our first home's remodeling project. Phil's is by far the best. First, Phil knows ins and outs of the project. He can give you estimate and answer your questions right on spot. He is the decision maker for the entire project. Many contactors serve as a middle man, they hire others for plumbing, electrical, etc. So these contractors have to call around to find out prices of these elements in order to give a final estimate. I consider Phil's direct practice had a huge benefit for saving time and cost without a middle man. Phil and his team do all that directly. Second, Phil has such a great sense of how to best use of space with details we never thought of. The layout of our finished basement is way better than what we initially imagined. Third, Phil only uses quality materials and offers longer warranty. It is great to have that assurance and confidence. Finally, Phil and his guys love what they are doing. They are very professional, respectful, and considerate. They make sure you are happy with their work. I am really impressed with how thorough their work is. They are such a pleasant group to work with. I would definitely hire them again for future projects. We called Phil on a Monday evening because we had noticed six water marks on our living room ceiling & down our hall. He was out first thing on Tuesday morning to check it out. My son was there and he showed him on the roof what the issues were, he went in the attic to see how extensive the damage was and had my son look at it too. He even took pictures to show us when we met that evening. As soon as the weather broke Phil & his crew were there to replace the roof, treat all surfaces effected by mold and reinforce the original construction where needed. He replaced a portion of the ceiling in the hall that had mold damage & you can't even tell where the piece was cut out because he matched the texture of the ceiling so perfectly. We also had a section of mold in the finished area of the basement that we asked him to look into. He found a section of copper pipe that was corroded and waited until he could show us the issue & tell us how he could repair it before going ahead with the work. When all the work was completed everything was cleaned up inside & out, you wouldn't have known they were there. We would recommend anyone considering doing any repair or construction to their home call Phil first because his work is exceptional and cost is reasonable. read more
