Our project was delayed almost 3 months because of the poor quality of cabinets. They delivered us damaged cabinets that took 3 weeks to be remade and shipped back. We waited and waited, only to discover that our replacent cabinets were broken once again. Another 3 weeks delaying our project. Owner Tom ignored us during this process. Sent him email after email of the pictures of our broken cabinets. No reaponse until he realized that this would continue to manifest above the circus they already pit us through. We wanted a refund for the additional out of pocket expenses they caused us. Tom would not respond until I had to go to the post office and send a certified letter and file a complaint with the BBB. Worst attention to detail I have ever seen. One of the deliveries actually occured when I wasnt even home. And Tom simply apologize that he forgot to check his email. Could go on and on. Please dont make the mistake we made. Go to a place that understands how to treat a customer.

If I could give zero stars I would. Their installers cracked the backsplash of our granite countertop and never said a word. The installers just filled in the crack, glued it to the wall and called it a day. When our tile installer came the next day he was the one who found it. I didn't go over the entire job because I expected a professional install. I contacted ItalGranite to report it and they instantly tried blaming the tile installer for breaking the backsplash. We were put off for 2 weeks and no one showed up to address it. I had pictures to prove the crack was there right after install. So either they never asked the installers about the job or the installers lied. Either way nothing was ever done. And at this point I would never let them back in my house!

Mike Pierce was excellent in creating the design and helping me select materials, colors etc. I am not good at doing that but I know what I like when I see it. Mike was able to understand what I was communicating and bring it to life. John Linder was assigned to do the work. He has a meticulous attention to detail and takes great care in his craftsmanship. He's not the fastest guy around but he will do the job right. In the end I would rather have right than fast. Our bathroom is my favorite room in the house now. It's my own little retreat.

We had Capron Construction, owned by Jim Capron, build a large steel building for us, and our…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing. This was a very expensive project, costing well into the hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the number of problems that have developed after completion continues to grow. After the building was finished and fully paid for, we contacted Jim multiple times to ask him to come inspect the issues and discuss how he planned to correct them. Each time, we were told he would come "next week," but he never followed through and never seemed genuinely interested in addressing the problems. The workmanship has been unacceptable. The roof was installed incorrectly and leaks. The concrete was done improperly, and when temperatures freeze, it affects the doors and the entire front of the building, creating additional structural concerns. We have also found patchwork in the steel that appears to have been pieced together rather than properly installed. On top of that, much of the building will need to be redone because of improper screw installation. Many screws are misaligned, some do not even connect to the intended posts, and some areas of the roof have screws with caulk around them, which raises even more concerns about the quality of the work. None of this is exaggerated. We have photographs documenting these issues, and other contractors who have inspected the building have confirmed our concerns. If you are considering hiring Capron Construction, do your homework first. Our experience has been that once the job was paid for, accountability disappeared. Despite presenting himself as honest, reliable, and willing to make things right, that has not been our experience at all. We would strongly caution others before trusting this company with a major project.

We have called Jim Capron 3 times to come back to our house in Grafton where he built a 500,000…read morebuilding. He still has not stopped/ The roof leaks and we had another contractor come and he said the roof was put on incorrectly and has to be redone, the building isn't square, in the winter the concrete rises in the front of the building making it impossible to open the door and it is slowly destroying the front of the building. There are screws on the outside of this steel building that are not in a straight line as they should be and many have not even been screwed into the wood. The southwest corner of the building there is a three foot piece of steel that has been put up because it must have been cut wrong and that is how they patched it. Many screw's on the roof were missed and they just put caulking around them. Do not let Jim Capron and his company build anything for you. If you have questions we can show you what we are fixing and pictures of other things that have been repaired. 440-315-8855
