The drive up was long and gravel roads. Feel like drive could have been much shorter if they were able to make an entrance right off the main road. We did a wine tasting; wines were okay. A couple were too dry for me and hard to drink. Heard a lot about the almond wine ... wish it was one on the tasting flight. That would have been a great ending on the tasting. Check in on yelp for a free wine tasting by the way. Seating indoors and outdoors. After starting our tasting we decided to take a seat on the outdoor patio since it was a nice day; there were a lot of bugs . I think I got bit a few times. Wish there was insect candles or repellent to use. The staff was nice , and always checked on you. Will I come back? Honestly not sure.

Came here for my birthday with family. I loved how secluded and private this winery was. The wine was good, service was very friendly and the charcuterie was amazing

My wife said it was "National Drink Wine Day". I thought she was pulling my leg. She said, "No, it's for real." Well, we are patriots, and we should celebrate this holiday. We headed off to Tehachapi and began at Triassic Winery with a tasting. Now, I'm not a wine expert by any stretch of the imagination. I've rarely met a glass of wine I didn't like. The wineries in Tehachapi, I understand there are five now, are really developing their own reputation. They are small and the wines are at the upper end of what our pocketbook can afford. But, the wineries are fun to visit. Tehachapi is a comfortable community. The people are friendly and the weather is nice. Triassic has a covered patio and an inside tasting room. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. We picked up one of their charcuterie boxes ($18.50) that included salami, cheese, nuts, berries, and crackers. There were 5 tastings in the flight. We started with the 209 Viognier. I thought this was a very nice white and preferred it over the 2020 Viognier Oaked. We then tried the 2018 Legacy Red, their Zin, and finally a sparkling Almond. They gave us a tasting sheet with very brief descriptions of the awards a variety had won. I logged on to their website and read more detailed descriptions of the wines. My wife and I played the "Did you pick up the notes of cocoa?" or other spices game. Triassic is a nice place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. If it's not officially National Drink Wine Day, I think you can proclaim one on your own.

The place is super cute with a nice ambience, inside bar area, dining tables, and outside patio. also picnic tables outside on the grass area with nice umbrellas and lighting at night to make it a cozy cute place to have a glass of wine service amazing and the cheese boards were Delicious. Beautiful views.

We have been here twice and enjoyed both times. They are pet friendly and have good food trucks. We liked the wine flight and bought several bottles. It is a great relaxing time.

Slowwww down when getting close it's easy to miss the turn in. Very nice grounds to enjoy wine and socialize. Lots of lawn with tables all around. Covered patio with tables also. Nicely decorated tasting bar. Some snacks in a refrigerator located in the wine bar. The employees are nice and attentive. They don't offer a lot of information about the wine and background of the winery. That is always a plus for me. We tasted seven wines, some whites and reds. Definitely liked the Zinfandel the best. Purchased a bottle of the Zinfandel. Nice stop to enjoy some local wine. Cheers!

Anywhere we go we are always on the look out for wineries. I was pleasantly surprised to find out there are several in this Tehachapi area, just a few miles outside of the downtown area. Triassic is very welcoming with a nice wine tasting bar inside area, and big open outdoor patio and lawn space. The servers were very helpful and offered us a generous tasting of their wines. The lawn area is dog and kid friendly. Unfortunately, my palate on the day we visited was not taking well to any of the wines we tasted. The wine was drinkable, but in my humble opinion it was just okay. If you are in the area Triassic Vineyards is worth a stop to check out.

A paper tasting menu from Triassic Vineyards displays five wine options: 2019 Viognier, 2020 Viognier-Oaked, 2018 Legacy, 2018 Zinfandel, and Sparkling Almond. Each wine has a brief description, including awards and tasting notes. The menu is enclosed in a plastic sleeve and placed on a granite countertop, with part of a mobile device visible at the top of the image.

Marley was so sweet ! Very welcoming and informative. I visited this adorable winery while in town visiting my parents . The staff here are very friendly . I really enjoyed the wine too . The sparking almond is my favorite. This place is a must try while coming to the area.

Scenic and peaceful. Lots of parking. Friendly, very relaxed service. We ordered bread and oil as we sipped our wine flights as we were very hungry. But, they do not have any other kind of menu. Just cheese and cracker boards that another local place makes for them to sell. We came on a Sunday afternoon. Semi busy I would say and at times, we went long lags without pours. So, we were likely there longer than we wanted to be BUT.. we were able to have our dog with us on the patio and the wine we did have was nice. Shortest, tiniest pours I have ever seen though. Half a mouthful each taste. $ The gift shop inside was cute. Restroom was spotless. Nothing by the bottle was less than $28. Buy 2 bottles, they waive 1 wine tasting flight. We came home with 2 bottles of Daily Red and would certainly keep this spot in mind for a return visit.

My husband and I visited this amazing winery for the 2nd time and each time was great!! Since COVID19 is among us they only offer package meats and cheese with crackers. Also pizza by the slice from a local place, sorry can't remember the name but boy was it delicious. The weather was great being outside with a great view of their vineyards. Can't wait to come back.

Some of the best wine around - Marlee is the best of the best! #sundayfunday

Great wine, great vibes, and great service. First time checking out the wine scene Tehachapi, and this place was definitely the best.

The tasting is $15 for 4 wines made by them. The owner Ilda Vaja is so passionate about it she calls it a very expensive hobby. And I can't imagine what it takes to plant, care for, produce and bottle the wine every year. She was the sole managing person here this particular Friday and man was it such a fun conversation we had. We learned a lot about Tehachapi and how she started it and it is just heart warming to hear the story. She's also the first one to plant and produce a very good Malbec. The tasting consisted of a rosé, Cabernet, Merlot and Malbec. She served this with cheese, crackers and local chocolates! The ranch also has AirBNB rooms so be sure to check out her website for availability. Women owned, local and full of love. You can taste that in the product. During this weekend trip, I also visited 2 other wineries but I can tell you hands down, this was an absolutely memorable stop. I highly recommend stopping by here if you're passing by. I promise you the wine is great, the views and the person behind this winery are phenomenal. We ended up taking home 5 wines. During the week make an appointment. But weekends you can just stop by.
