You deserve all the stars in the world. Maybe you can even get six stars. The customer service of the cashier was really nice. The cook was a little bit grumpy, but I will let that slide because the food tasted good. Maybe he was a bit overwhelmed by all the orders and a few times he couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear him so there was a little mixup in communication. But it is what it is. Cheer up cooking guy. Anyways, we really enjoyed the sandwiches. They tasted so good and I was a big fan of the chicken and rice as well. If you come here, make sure you just sample everything and get risky. When you think deli, this kind of place is what you want to find. Everyone living in NYC has had their fair share of decrepit corner delis, but this one is not it. I ordered a chopped cheese and another one of their sandwiches called "hangover cure." Chicken, mozzarella sticks, sauce - come on. It was fire. I don't know what happened to this place. They used to be one of my favorite deli/grill places in the neighborhood. But a while back they shut down the deli/grill part and it has never come back. Three stars because it's still a perfectly good place to get snacks and drinks, and has a decent beer and alcopop selection. But man, I miss that chopped cheese they used to make. read more

This deli has been here a really long time and is possible under new ownership. They have done extensive renovations widening the store updating the decor and adding a full Grill making sandwiches wraps and salads. The staff is fairly friendly and it's basically a bodega with fancy grill. They do not have a paper menu but there is one posted inside the store. They are a Halal store so the bacon will be either beef or turkey (yaaay BLTs) which is a welcome to the neighborhood for people who are allergic like myself. I ordered the number 61 (grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, choice of cheese, beef bacon) without the bacon add avocado and they made it pretty well for $7. They make quesadillas as well with various types of chicken I even saw jalapeno and fajita flavors. My sandwich was FULL of grilled chicken! Only issue the sandwich was dry because he put the cheese over the mayo and it dissolved into the bread and told a little fib about putting salt and pepper. Do yourself a favor and get a chopped cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo. UH-MAZING. The perfect drunk, stoned, sober or whatever your mood is type sandwich. We came back two nights in a row it was so damn good. There's so many different options, something for everyone. It's very nice and clean too, which is a huge plus. Solid spot for breakfast sandwiches. The line isn't ever too long and the sandwiches are only $2 for egg and cheese or $3 for meat, egg and cheese. I haven't found better prices for this quality! The staff are all really nice and my breakfast sandwich is always delicious. It's also convenient if you need a snack, cold drink, or coffee. The best! Ali and his crew are good people spreading love the Brooklyn way, such a great part of the local community. All the food is very good, super high quality deli favorites done with flavor, a big menu, best food. And the newly added Mexican menu items are rockin'! Try a burrito or quesadilla, veggie burger, the salads, come in for their extensive collection of craft beers... I get my coffee here just about every morning. And dinner. Often. This place is amazing. Just had the Brussels w Granny Smith apples and hot honey, and the jerk chicken tacos. Both were so good. The staff was really friendly and fast.
