"A pleasant experience from start to finish" When I purchased my home I was told my roof was only three years old. While on a minor roof repair, the project manager, Bill, gave me a call and sent me pictures to inform me I was swindled! He then spent 20 minutes teaching me about roofs while sharing anecdotes about his life and his experiences. Hearing an employee saying such great things about their company solidified my opinion on this company. Every time I call the office Rochelle picks up on the first ring, and is always delightfully cheery and inviting. When I went to the office to pay, I was greeted immediately, and everything was smooth. Paul was my point person, and he is extremely responsive and considerate of me not as a customer but as a fellow homeowner with roof issues and pockets that are not infinite. Personalities aside, the work is incredibly clean, and timely. The teams that came out to do the work were extremely respectful of the property and left it tidy. When they came to replace my gutters, Bill informed me of a camera that got knocked off - it was the old Homeowner's camera that I intended to remove anyways, and so Bill got the ladder back out and completely removed the old cameras for me! They use really good materials, and do everything by the book. They don't bs you and try to sell you anything. They inform you candidly and allow you to make a decision. We were scheduled for a roof replacement, new gutters, and masonry repairs. All the work was completed within two weeks. Lane did everything they said they would and on the schedule they provided. To be sure, this was the least stressful construction/contractor relationship I've ever experienced. The final cost matched the estimate. Throughout the entire process, Lane communicated everything - when they were starting, who was showing up, and how long the work would take. They cleaned up every day. For perspective, our roof is a nightmare with some very steep pitches, multiple dormers, and a chimney running through the middle of the roof. The last time we replaced the roof, the contractor took over a month to complete the job. Lane completed the roof in less than a day. To be sure, Lane was the least stressful construction/contractor relationship I've ever experienced.

All the same as the roof replacement project, pretty simple as far as things to do on my end... keep the cars out of the way & let it be known if we have to leave or are arriving and need to get in while the crew is working. That was handled the same as before, respectfully. Siding crew showed up, tore the old stuff off, windows & doors team came in behind them and knocked out all windows and doors in a couple of days and then siding crew was back at it. James Hardie & Pella are obviously a great match on materials alone but the value in having a highly trained team with top certifications completing the work up to and above both manufacture requirements and code, it was really impressive once again. We never needed to worry about people slacking or being dishonest. For us, it was a total game changer. Like many people, we bought our current house in an ultra competitive market. After we closed, we initially worked with a contractor recommended by a friend to remodel our unsafe backyard deck. To put it mildly, our first contractor was not honest, and our project was left hanging. With us moving hundreds of miles with an infant and another young child, it was a huge stress.
