If I could provide a negative rating I would. We are moving and wanted our empty new house cleaned before we brought in our furniture. We called for a quote and they said $150 per hour for 4 maids, and there was a 2 hour minimum. When they found out it was a vacant house, they said $175.00. Upon arrival, they told my husband, "Oh, you want us to clean the refrigerator and the stove... That's more money." In an empty house, of course we want you to clean the refrigerator and the stove! The windows, the blinds, the mirrors, the bathroom. They didn't even have to vacuum or clean the floor because our carpet cleaners were coming the next day. My husband said, we are paying you for 2 hours and there are four of you, let's see what we accomplish, and if we need more time, we can add it. They said they were finished in under two hours, but he had to talk them through everything they needed to clean. Upon arrival, there was no attention given to this job. There are fingerprints left on windows, dust left on vents, they couldn't put the refrigerator back together, and I went to open a drawer and it was sticky. And we are out $350! Find another service! I have only had Tri Maids come for the initial clean so far, but it was so nice on Tuesday to come home to a clean house. Cleaning services have gone up since I've used one, but that's not a mark against Tri Maids, that's just so you don't get sticker shock when you call them. I love the three people idea. Things happen much more compactly, and after an hour and a bit, they're done. I would highly recommend Tri Maids. I've been looking for a maid service for a little while now and my mother in law kept telling me I should try them. So I caved. When I called to make an appointment they had told me that the rates had gone up July 1st. They did not tell me why. It was $110 for 5 ladies for an hour. It's now $130 for 5 ladies for an hour. I told them nevermind. So then my mother in law called and made an appointment and talked to them for me. She told me that the appointment for Friday between 1 and 1:30. I could not really do any of my errands because I would not be back in time. The maids were and hour late (2:16)! They didn't even call! When they arrived they were in a rush and didn't really want to clean the whole house in an hour. And when I asked for the price she asked if $130 was ok. I was already irritated because they were an hour late with no call and they didn't want to clean the whole house until I asked yes they had to. So I just said ok. After about an hour of loud dusting and banging. The lady came in to get me and said they were done, everyone was already in the car. She asked if I could take a quick walk around and check, as she was waiting by the door. So I just paid her and quickly left. They did not dust in the places I asked. I'm very upset and do not recommend them at all! And I thought they were going to take the trash that they empied out with them. I guess that was too much to ask for. read more

I can repeat what another reviewer wrote. We have used Tri-maids on and off for about 5 years. The team that used to come to our homes were quick, friendly, and professional. That is NO LONGER the case. They had been to our home several times before and on the last two visits they missed a lot of work and then asked if I wanted done -- for an added fee. I reminded them that they had been to our home several times and why charge more? The answer...you have a big house. ?!?? When I called to complain - no help. Either I paid the extra amount or they would just leave it as is. I won't be using them again after being over charged and under cleaned -- I don't care if I do have a "big house" -- the first crews handled it well and fast -- the last groups were sadly lacking. read more

Tri Maids came to our house today. I would never recommend them to anyone! We specifically asked them to clean walls and doors. This was not done. Our shutters were not dusted. The area around the toilets was not cleaned. Our bathroom trashcans ended up in a basket in our bedroom. The window sill above the sink....not dusted..... We have a small house. There were 5 maids cleaning under 1200 square feet for 2 hours! How they could miss common cleaning is beyond me. My husband called two hours ago asking them to come back and finish the job. Wish I could give zero stars. This was the Monrovia office. I guess they deserve one just for showing up on time. Can't believe I didn't read the reviews before I booked. I confirmed that the baseboards would be done, since the house was already clean. Baseboards were not cleaned, trash cans were not moved or cleaned around or behind. Spend a good hour going around cleaning them myself. Called the company and she told me the worker told her she had cleaned them twice, I said Ana is lying to you. I offered for one if the ladies in the office to come she what a horrible job was done she said oh we can't do that!! This company is a racket! It really should be investigated. I called Tri maids cleaning at the last minute to book a cleaning and i'm so glad I did!!! I had an appointment for a clean by another company. I have a large rental home that was left very dirty by the renters. My friend had went by the house late that night to make sure it was ready for the new renters that were coming in the next morning. We then found out that the other cleaning company never showed up! I was in a panic. I started calling cleaning companies leaving messages for a call back. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call back by Tri maids cleaning early the next morning. I told the lady on the phone what happen, and I was assured it would be taken care of right away. It was so easy to book with them. All I had to do was give them access to the house and they handled the rest. The renter had even made the comment on how clean the house was. The office staff and cleaners are always very nice and easy to work with. All I have to do is send a quick email to the office and I know the clean will be taken care of, and the house will look great! I most definitely will use Tri maids cleaning for my other rental as well. read more

Totally my fault I shouldn't have even called. I NEVER use businesses with less than 3-4 stars and thanks to TRIMAIDS they reminded me why! This is not on their cleaning skills but if their timeliness and customer service is any indication I'm SO glad I canceled! I called and spoke to Pam and Natalie (both friendly) our normal housekeeper was sick and we needed a rental cleaned ASAP. I did question the $115 per hour for 3 people vs $150 per hour for 3 people for an empty house? They said an empty house meant it's a "deep cleaning" but she failed to specify what that extra would mean in terms of their work. We were scheduled for today and they specifically said someone would need to be there at 2pm to let them in and THAT WAS IT. I got to the house at 1:50, thinking a professional business charging $150 an hour would definitely be early birds. By 2:05 I was thinking ok any moment. I decided to call and ask, I am very busy and have ZERO time for people running late. When I called I was shocked that the woman I talked to was quick to laugh and say "it's only 2:06" me "Right, And you guys said 2 so you are late" her "there is a drive time" me "ok well why wasn't I told this yesterday" her "well you live all the way in Monrovia there is a drive time of at least 15 minutes for them" I responded "you are a professional business and I should have been informed of that when I called initially". She said she'd call them and we hung up. I waited a few more minutes and just decided to call and cancel. I called two times and no one answered so I left a message. Of the 8 years I have had a house keeper (the same exact person) she has never been late or rude for that matter. Timeliness, relaying information to customers and friendliness are BASIC skills for running a business and can't even do that? Good luck! read more

We have used Tri-maids on and off for over 10 years. We hire them to do the excess work and cleaning we can't handle, or when we need extra help. The team that used to come to our homes were quick, friendly, and professional. That is no longer the case. We hired them to do a thorough cleaning, asked them to take their time, and requested at least 2 1/2 hours. When I returned after two hours and 15 minutes, the crew was gone and the house was not finished. They missed a bathroom, left cleaning residue behind on the tiles, and missed a lot of work they actually asked if I wanted done. When I asked for a quote over and over before they started, they kept avoiding the answer. Only one girl speaks English, and she is not in charge. We were charged $165 for an unclean house, with no prior notice that they would charge that much on our credit card. We were offered a 15 minute refund but none has been given. We won't be using them again after being over charged, under cleaned, and the fact they didn't stay for the entire time. read more

After items went missing- my daughters retainer $300.00 ( which we found throw in laundry- thank goodness) and my daughters brand new DS I $150.00 ( we are still looking) i didnt get the response I wanted. At first they responded but not how i wanted and expected. When i called to ask for response, The manger even hung up on me. Some companies say they are bonded and Insured but unfortunately I have NOT yet to get a call back saying " we're sorry" and " we will make it right" instead they said-- oh we thought you do not want to use our service anymore. My wife has hired this company to clean our house three times. The first time was outstanding. The second time was not as good, mainly because one of the ladies who is a spectacular bathroom cleaner did not come. The third time, about a week ago, was a disappointing experience. My wife said the cleaners rushed through the job and we had a sink that was completely untouched. More importantly, we found an item missing from our bathroom cabinet. While the item was not of great value, our trust was completely shattered. Furthermore, the response of Tri Maids was very underwhelming; they didn't seem particularly concerned. Disappointing. I called for an initial service. I said I'd like to do a deep cleaning up front (2-hours), and then settle into every-other week. Over the phone I was told that would include windows and sills. This was information offered to me - I did not ask. It took them a full week to find a window that worked with my schedule, and I decided to take off early from work to accommodate them. Maria's team showed up TWO HOURS late (5PM instead of scheduled 3PM). As I had taken off of work specifically to accommodate their schedule, this was very frustrating. They broke a vase and did a perfunctory job that I might expect from a 1-hour cleaning. There were cobwebs in the corners, several surfaces with dust (dressers and tables - not just bookshelves), and the ceiling fans were not done, although these were each things I specifically requested on the walk-through when the team finally arrived. I asked three times during the 2-hours to have the covered porch (part of the upstairs duplex) swept and dusted. I got a "ya ya ya -we know, we know" the first two times, and the third walked Maria out and stated I would like it done again when there were only 15 minutes of their time remaining and it was clear they were not going to do it. Needless to say - no windows and no window sills. I called the next day to explain what a disaster this had been and that I would not be using them again. I explained that I was told - information OFFERED by the person who booked the appointment - that windows and sills were included. This time I was told that windows and sills were a separate appointment. I explained that I had not asked for that - the person who booked my appointment stated they would be included without prompt. I said I was shocked at their bait-and-switch. I also stated that their work was mediocre and that TWO HOURS LATE was indefensible. They were non-responsive. I strongly advise avoiding this service. If you must use them, definitely avoid Maria's team. Poorly executed, poorly managed, and remarkably late. I know that things get broken from time to time, but it was sad that a vase my mother made for me (no monetary value, but sentimental) was broken on a first trip. Wow. Avoid the frustration and HIGH price tag and call someone else. read more

I was in a jam so called this service after seeing it listed in our local paper. Ugh! Seriously. I was told that 4 ladies would show up and only 3 came. I was charged extra for the time they stayed when honestly if you're going to show up 1 person short don't charge me for the extra 30 minutes you spend. And the worst part was that I spent time typing up a list of what I needed done from top priority to least important and they tried to complete it ALL and therefore did a shoddy job in the areas that I really needed to be done well. And by shoddy I mean that the kitchen floor still had dirt on it that I had to sweep up, as well as dirt spots, there was hair still on my bathroom floors and the sinks were anything but shiny...to name a few! I needed to reschedule and she said oh good since I was going to have to call and do the same thing but she wanted it to be a week later and I couldn't wait that long so we decided on Friday April 12, 2013. I got a call Thursday to confirm and then got another call later on that they needed to cancel again and wanted to do it next week and I said that was to late and she said ok and I said I would find someone else that would show up and that was it. I have used Tri Maids for close to 20 years for cleaning when I need it. The office staff is great in making appointments and every team I've had has done and excellent job. They often have to work around my sewing or craft projects, but always handle everything in a very professional manner. I love that they can clean my entire house in just an hour. Great to have them leaving me with a clean house two hours before my company arrives. I had a poor experience with them. I felt that they were very slow and accomplished very little with four people in a two hour period. Also, they were supposed to clean my oven, and microwave and this was not done. They cleaned my refrigerator very poorly. They only finished cleaning 75% of it and then left when their time was up.
