I must have caught them on a bad day. I just paid $250 for 5 hours of cleaning and I honestly feel cheated. Our agreement was that the kitchen, bathrooms and flooring be the priority-- she didn't have to clean the rest of the house. I had a busy day of errands, very excited to come home to a clean house but that definitely was not the case. Here's what I came home to in the kitchen alone: -Uncleaned microwave -Sink full of dirty dishes -3 full trashes, which included Burger King from Kat's team and the emptied trashes from the bathrooms. (I've never had a cleaner not take the trash out, especially their own trash!) -the counter completely clear and wiped down, only to find the appliances that were on them under the counter still dirty (blender base, toaster, and crockpot all dirty with old food stains) -smudges on the stainless steel fridge showing that it hadn't been cleaned. Our kitchen is small and it wasn't in terrible shape before they came. It really makes me wonder what they did?? Put dirty dishes in the sink, put dirty appliances under the counter, wipe the counters down and call it clean?? The bathrooms weren't as bad but they weren't cleaned well either. There was soap scum on the shower head still and dust on the vanity (we recently had it repaired so there's chalky dust in places). The floors were the only thing done well. When I texted Kat about the issues she said that they didn't load the dishwasher because there were already dishes in there. (Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to put away clean dishes than randomly putting appliances under the counter?? Why clear the counters but not the dishwasher?? Why not hand wash the dirty dishes??). She gave no response about the microwave or trashes. All she offered to do was return my $35 tip. I feel she should've refunded more for the shabby job but oh well, lesson learned- never trust cleaners to clean while you're not home and never send payment before inspecting the work. The 2 stars are for the good communication during scheduling and for arriving on time. read more

I found Kat's business from Yelp. The reviews don't lie. They went over and beyond with cleaning my disgusting basement that hasn't seen dusting in many years. Kat is super pleasant and easy to communicate with. Easy communication, cleaned all that I requested and beyond. Gave an estimate sheet. Very honest too. A tea cup was accidentally broken but instead of hiding it, she told me directly and showed me the photo. It's OK, things break. If I really cared, I could have removed those fragile items. I would definitely hire again! Kevin and Kat are amazing! They came with their supplies and used three pumice stones to clean my grody sink by my washer. Asked if they could use my mop and bucket as it's concrete which I was more than happy to oblige. They deserve every penny and more. This was my first time having my home professionally cleaned I couldn't be more happy! From the beginning Kat was responsive and very easy to work with. Getting an estimate was really simple, she did a virtual walk through via FaceTime and she took notes on everything I was hoping to have done. As it was my first time ever getting my home cleaned I opted for a deep clean. I'm not sure what I was expecting but Kat and her partner truly outdid themselves. They arrived on time with all of their supplies and got right to work and they didn't stop working until everything was done! They paid close attention to detail and I don't think our house has been this clean since we moved in over 5 years ago. What was most impressive was that they managed to get things clean that my husband and I have been trying to for over a year. We have hard water and no matter what we do we can never get the master shower and the toilets as clean as we would like and they managed to make them look brand new! They also deep cleaned our oven where I had spilled something oily years ago and got out the stain! My only regret is I didn't get more before and after pics because they really made such a difference! From our ceiling fans to our baseboards our whole house has been dusted, scrubbed, wiped down, vacuumed, mopped... the works! Our realtor had bad past experiences and she warned us about it so we took her advice. Katherine and I discussed the work over the phone and she was very patient in answering all my questions. THEY BRING COCKROACHES TO YOUR HOUSE. I had the workers of this company show me the type of products they use because they started cleaning my house. When they opened up where they had their cleaning supplies, a bunch of cockroaches came out big and small and got out of where they had their equipment and went all over the house. it took me a while to get around to this review because i hate to hurt a small business but i have to be honest. i was very unhappy with kat's work. initially the communication and accommodation of my requested day and time were incredible! A+++ communication. But everything else was unsatisfactory. I sent kat a video of my place requesting move in cleaning, and she gave me a time and price estimate. I accepted, and then the day of, she texted me an arrival time window and showed up after it. I had woken up early and waited around for more than an hour. Then upon arrival, she looked around my place and said excitedly that she might not need the whole time she estimated to clean it. So i said awesome and left to run errands. When i returned she was not done yet and asked for MORE time. We had discussed before that it would be completed by a certain time because I had to meet with movers, but even upon giving her an extra 15 minutes, she left the job half finished. no cleaned floors, grimey windows, food gunk on the whole side of the oven (inside was cleaned luckily) and claimed she "got down on her hands and knees to hand pick things out of the carpet in the closet" because she didn't have her vacuum? it was in her car...i saw it when i helped her carry her supplies in. also not something i see as a priority since it's a small rectangle of carpet that i could easily vacuum myself in two minutes. i would have been much happier if she had focused on other things (like the 600 sq ft of dirty vinyl floors) and actually completed most of the job. she said she would love to come back & finish the job if i wanted to book her again. i thought that was ridiculous. why on earth would i pay for her services again if i already paid for them and she didn't even complete them? she was nice enough to send me my deposit back through venmo when i texted her after, since i was stressed that day and accidentally overpaid her in cash forgetting about the deposit i had put down. she did not offer me a discount or anything for the lack of completion. overall, it was a bad experience and i suggest looking into other cleaners. i know i will :( read more

I recently inherited my family home in Downey and needed someone to do a deep clean after the contents of the home had been removed. The house had not been lived in for quite a while and the timing to get this job done was critical. Kat responded quickly and was easy to work with.
