I hired this cleaning company about a month ago and I was conflicted to write this review, but the more time that passed the more details I noticed post-cleaning that really bothered me. I requested a deep cleaning of my completely empty 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, one story, 1140 sq ft condo. The day of the job, 2 very nice ladies showed up with all of their own cleaning products and vacuum. They took 5 hours at $75 an hour and I tipped them $25 each. They did a really nice job cleaning the vertical blinds in each of the 3 rooms and the dining area where the large window with sliding doors also has blinds. The rest of the house where I can tell they cleaned, they did a decent job, however I immediately noticed that: they did not properly clean inside the shower of one of the bathrooms because there were some cobwebs in the corner; they did not dust the walls since I could see some cobwebs in one of the bedrooms and near the vent of the dining area; the chandelier in the dining area was still dusty; the top of the bathroom cabinets were dusty; the washer and dryer are in a closet where the sliding doors are removed, the bottom tracks were dusty and clearly not vacuumed. I just feel that working in an empty home for 5 hours should not result in so many details missed. For the price they charged and the time they took, I was very disappointed. While I appreciate the punctuality of the ladies, their kindness and the quality of cleaning they provided on what I could tell was cleaned, I do not think I can work with this company again, nor would I recommend them. read more

Where do I begin?! First off, Evelyn and Anna did a PHENOMENAL job!! I felt so bad because one of the bathrooms needed extensive cleaning but they made it look brand new! I've been having a tough time trying to get the hard water that's caked onto the glass shower doors FOREVER with no luck but these ladies worked their magic and cleaned them out!! Two ladies, Gricelda (not the boss) and Ruth came punctually this morning to clean for almost six hours -- meticulously wiping, scrubbing and sanitizing every square inch of our home (at the least the areas we requested). They were professional, considerate and diligent. Originally, it was only supposed to be 4-5 hours, but they needed an extra hour and worked NON-STOP even through lunch! The bathrooms were spotless, the stove was SO clean (including the iron grates which were magically transformed to be cleaner than it has been in years!), and bedrooms were neatly organized and dusted. There were a few spots they missed, but it wasn't from not trying. Gricelda and Ruth are extremely hardworking and we greatly appreciate their amazing efforts. On 12/20 we had an amzing team come in and clean our house. We reached out 12/17 on Yelp and the response was quick and efficient. The team reached out and was transparent about the cost and services provided. We settled upon a 7am time and the team arrived ready to go. For a little over 3 hours they knocked out all the areas of the house except one part I pointed out in particular so a minus knock on that. There might have been a communication issue on my end as well but as for the rest of the house they did a great job. We have family staying with us for the Holidays so this was a huge help. My wife and I aren't slobs (I might be one actually) but we also aren't the cleanest in the world so a deeper cleaning is exactly what our house needed. It was weird to see our applicances and bathroom areas so spotless and the amount of peace of mind it brought to us is difficult to put a price tag on. I used Janeth's cleaning service for almost a full year. I intended to only use them for a few months after I had my son last year but I loved it so much that I kept them long term. At first every two weeks, then moved to once a month. Each one of the teams that came (maybe just a few different ones?) were all great. Everyone was super friendly, really courteous, and everyone did a great job. The owner was so great at communicating every time I reached out and gave very gentle reminders when I forgot to pay right after the service (so sorry!) . As a mom of 3, with a live in 95 year old grandpa to care for, homeschooling my oldest, and working part time independently, the cleaning service was soooo nice to have. Would not recommend. I requested cleaning for my 3 bed 2 1/2 bath with a focus on bathrooms, windows, and floors in common areas given I keep my home fairly clean. I was told it would take 2-3 hours with 2 cleaners. 2 cleaners showed up on time, we did a walkthrough of the home and I left to go run errands. When leaving, I noticed they both started working upstairs in the same area which I thought was strange but figured they had a method. However, when I returned home the house looked as I left it. The entryway and second floor where the living and dining area, half bath and kitchen had been untouched. Upstairs, the shower wasn't cleaned, mirrors and floors in bathrooms weren't cleaned, sink wasn't wiped down, carpet wasn't vacuumed, hallway floor not mopped and to top things off, a figurine in my bathroom was broken. Still, right at the 3rd hour, cleaners notified me they were "done". I advised them of things that were not cleaned and they disregarded and left anyway. I had an event a few hours later so I rushed to tidy up what wasn't cleaned properly. I immediately reached out to Janeth to notify and I was met with unpleasant and unprofessional responses. I sent pictures and she requested to come clean the following day but given the event and my 3 hours had already been wasted, I didn't feel confident in the service I would receive. I requested the amount I owed nonetheless but was met with several texts about how I was being "unfair" and was told to "have a nice day". Never once asked about replacement of the broken figurine. Never acknowledged the fact the cleaners had not done anything but simply make the owner suite bed. What did they do for THREE HOURS in my home? I've been struggling to find a trustworthy cleaning service for years, and I have finally found it. Janeth's Cleaning Services responded to my Yelp request quickly and arrived right on time today. Although initially scheduled for 4 hours, they ended up working hard to clean away the years of grime and abuse that has accumulated for 7 years. The two ladies worked nonstop, even moved my beds and sofas to get to places I've never bothered with before and in just 6 hours gave my house a brand new look. I've honestly forgotten my faucets were supposed to be shiny and my bathtub glass door can be seen through! They even asked for a stepladder to clean the top of my fridge! the start was great, but if they went over the four-hour time by a few minutes, they charged more and i had to pay even when it was just fifteen minutes. i was charged $280 for four hours. They missed a couple of things but i pointed it out the next time. Then one of the women broke a custom handsoap dispenser, probably the woman that was very fast according to the other woman, but, what was troubling was that they did not tell me, i felt they just hid it. i noticed because it sat on my window sill and i had to reach out to Gricelda and she returned the response that they forgot to tell me? huh? i was there before they left that day, how do you forget? Look, accidents happen and i don't care about material stuff if they just confessed what happened, but when you hide it and say you forgot, then that is not right. I first contacted Janeth in October 2019 after my landlord recommended her services. She was quick to respond and her rates were affordable. We arranged everything entirely via text messaging and she sent me the same two ladies every other Saturday to clean for 2 hours without fail through the end of the year. The ladies that cleaned my place did a decent job. One of the ladies spoke English while the other only spoke Spanish, but between the two of them they got the job done. Then in January I asked to take a break from our regular schedule. This lasted all of 3 weeks and I asked if we could resume our bi-monthly schedule. Janeth replied promptly and we set up services for the following week. When I didn't receive a confirmation for our next service two weeks out, I texted Janeth again to remind her that I'd like to restart cleaning services for every other week. However, more than two weeks later and after sending a second follow-up message, I've yet to receive the courtesy of a response. If i could give a 3.5 I would. The cleaning and the work was excellent. I am satisfied for the work that was done in the areas that they were able to get to. The problem was the lack of communication throughout the entire experience. I was receiving texts to notify me of the status of the arrival of the team but that number was not responding to the questions I was replying with. A team of two female came to the home, walked right in and began scoping the place. I let them get settled. I expected a game plan or at least one of them to communicate with me how long they would need, any potential areas that I may want to prioritize, and maybe their strategies for the day. all I heard amongst their convo was "mucho grande" in a bad way, I was afraid they were not going to be able to finish the house by end of day. I tried to ask them how long they might take since I am not going to wait and sit there while they cleaned but they couldn't give me a straight answer. I left and decided to return about 5 hours later and as I walked in I got no update. I had to ask for one and the lady did not think they would finish by the 6th hour. I opted for a 7th hour with one of them already explaining that she can not stay that long. I also wasnt notified how or how much I would need to pay and who do I pay? In the end they ended up not getting to the entire house and missed the garage, a garage with storage. I'm not sure of other people's standards, but I was disappointed in the service I was provided today. For reference, my place is tri-level, NEWLY built, 1900 sq ft (including garage) and EMPTY. Knowing this information, I was provided a quote and informed there is a 2 hour minimum and the job may take up to 5hrs. They were supposed to arrive between 9-930, but did not start until 945am. For the amount of time that was spent only upstairs, I truly expected a better showing since my place was empty and furniture free. With two people cleaning and after giving specifics as to what I required, the task should have been completed. Two hours and fifteen minutes for a professional cleaning should have been ample time to vacuum, Light dust shades, clean bathrooms (that have never been used) and the kitchen/living area floor and wipe out cupboards. Three hours would have been enough time for the entire home, but at the two hour mark they were just getting to the second level (kitchen/living area). I honestly do not feel like much was done and I've attached pictures of the vacuum job. The third room clearly wasn't even touched with a vacuum. Once again I will stress this was the cleaning of an EMPTY, NON-USED home, with no appliances to clean. Furthermore, the equipment brought did not seem adequate for the job and the vacuum did not look like it had been cleaned out prior to. Based on the glowing reviews I really expected more and I'm bummed because I had another job if this went well. I will note I did speak to the owner who stressed that even if she sent out another team they would take the same amount of time. To me that means they are trained to drag the time out. She did offer and provide a PARTIAL refund, but first impressions are lasting impressions and I will not be recommending or using their services again. read more

We hired cleaners from Janeth's services last week and had issues in a few areas. It looks like others had a great experience, so ours might've been because of the specific cleaners. Trust - We hired the service because our lives have been chaotic, so we were excited for some help with cleaning. I thanked the cleaners when they arrived for helping us, as things have been rough. The whole time, I could hear the two women chatting in Spanish (which my husband and I understand), and one of them was speaking badly of our home from the first hour all the way to the last. They charge by the hour, which adds up for two cleaners - I totally understand if a cleaning needs to take longer than anticipated, but every hour I checked was another hour - and they said they would've taken "at least" 7 hours with two people. One woman was running the kitchen sink for 40 minutes (I checked and timed it because it felt weird after the first 20) - she was pretending to scrub the sink when I came downstairs, but when she left, there were food scraps stuck on visible areas of it. I deep clean the sink every weekend, so I felt strange about it. Pricing - a competitor quoted 7 hours for $50 less with one person cleaning for a deep clean even after we finished construction at the house, so I'm not sure what the issue was here. The same work with Yaneth's would've been around $500, whereas others quoted us $340 (with two cleaners and deeper clean, same amount of time and after construction). Quality- I thought "they probably did an amazing job though if they took this long." I checked the rooms they did finish, and there was so much residue left over everywhere I was shocked. The mirrors had actual hand streaks across that I cleaned again, and there was dried soap in places it didn't exist previously. The same was true for the sink, which was still covered in random stains (which I washed off later). I gave the owner a call and she was somewhat understanding and lovely, though I felt a little gaslit. She met me halfway and we settled on payment that made sense. I appreciated her responsiveness throughout the process. It was an insulting experience overall, and I'd suggest getting a clear quote before hiring the service. I don't like to write negative reviews for small businesses and feel sorry about it, but I think it's important for customers to make informed decisions about services that involve workers coming into your home for extended periods of time and possibly taking advantage of the finances. read more
