I cannot say enough positive things about Tri County. Tina in their office is amazing, empathetic, and professional. She helped me figure out what we needed to do when the line between our water meter and the house developed a severe leak last week, and walked me through every step of the process. Jeremy came out to do the digging, plumbing, and line replacement, and he was efficient, personable, helped us prevent some potential problems with the inspector, and didn't mind when I asked a million questions. 10/10, will definitely be going to Tri County for all our future plumbing needs. read more

A fine company. I was recommended by a friend, and had them out twice to my new (old) house for some work. First they dealt with a leaky drain under the foundation, and then came back to install some backflow preventers on my sump pump. The guy who came out knew what he was doing, and was clear about his recommendations and did a fine job. Dealing with their office over email was OK -- not great (I get the impression they normally do business over the phone, which I cannot stand), but they did confirm my appointment and whatnot. They were pretty slow (about 45 days) to get the bill out to me (which, not like I'm in a huge hurry to pay them, though I'd kind of forgotten about it). That's the main reason I went from 4 to 5 stars. Pricing I think seems about normal for a plumber. Certainly not cheap, though I didn't feel gauged or anything. I'll definitely use Tri Star again as I have need for a plumber. read more

Have had Roy out for more work and he always rocks it. They schedule, they arrive and get the job done. Always will recommend him! The fact that he has a dedicated person to schedule and to answer calls is so smart too. Someone is always able to pick up the phone and Roy can focus on the awesome work he does. I called them on Sunday (knowing they were closed, but I kept forgetting to call). They got back to me first thing Monday morning, and were here before noon. Roy was our plumber, and he was absolutely professional, friendly, and communicative. The previous homeowners had put tile in the bathroom, and poorly rigged the "seal" on the toilet with two flanges. After a quick stint of freezing weather one of my pipes burst, along with pipes for bunch of other homes. And while other plumbers were giving me wait times of 2+ days and insisting that due to the heavy volume of work that they would be charging me overtime no matter when the plumber got here (gotta love that, charge more when the need is greatest) Tri county came through for me. The receptionist was a doll to speak with, polite and concerned about my position and she informed me that though they were booked, they also had a technician in my area and would see if there was any way he could sneak me in. 2 hours later he was at my house. He was a nice guy and very understanding (which is saying something since he had to work on my pipes underneath my deck laying in the freezing mud), found the break and repaired it in under 90 minutes and didn't try to gouge me on the price. Totally impressed. Went out and bought s hot water heater thinking ours was on its last legs ($980). Called Tri County after their competitor stood us up twice. Tri county came out and took a look planning to install today. After looking at it they recommended leaving it be (has several more years life) and left w/o charging for the inconvenience! We have a clogged toilet. I sent Tri-County plumbing a message on Sunday, asking for a quote and whether or not they were available to come out on Monday or Tuesday of this week it's now Wednesday and I haven't heard anything back from them. We had a major front yard leak. So bad the water company came to our house, the yard was turning into a swamp. We called the BIG name guys and they were booked for two days and told us if we wanted someone to come before then they would charge US OVER time.. even though it was NOT during emergency hours. THIS was urgent however my father is a senior and $300 just to look at the leak was insane.. SO WE CALLED TRI COUNTY in Gresham. THE OWNER himself was at our HOUSE within an hour and had the leak fixed within two hours. Super nice guy and did an awesome job. I can't even tell you how happy he made us and the bill wasn't not even what the other guys wanted to charge to JUST drive out to the house.. This company saved us that day.
