Kayla and Trevor were so professional and great to work with in selling our West Seattle home. They put in the extra mile and helped the task feel less daunting. I would highly recommend them for selling your home. read more

I had a wonderful experience working with Trevor during the home buying process. He was knowledge about the market and answered all my questions with patience and expertise. As a Realtor, I recently had the pleasure of working with Russell on a transaction. He handled the listing, and I brought the buyers. Russell was awesome to work with he went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, and his communication was spot on. It was such a great experience, and I can't wait to team up with him again in the future! read more

This review is long overdue! In this wild market, you need someone you can trust to guide you. When it came time to sell our home we knew we needed Trevor to take the lead. He was key few years ago when we purchased our first home and was just as amazing when it came time to sell. He truly has your best interests at heart and he facilitates so much behind the scenes to make the process super smooth for his clients. We cannot thank him enough for all of his knowledge and guidance! read more

Let me start with "WOW!" (in a great way!) My husband and I moved to the Seattle area a couple of years ago, and after renting for a year and a half-knew that it was time to settle in a little bit and purchase our first home. We had always heard great things about Trevor and Raeanne, and were excited to meet with them and find our dream home. They truly went above and beyond, exceeding any and all expectations we had. Going into this process we had no idea what we were doing-what to plan for, what to look for, what steps to take. It is a very overwhelming process with no knowledge whatsoever of purchasing a home, and how to go about doing so! When it was time to go home "shopping" they asked us all of the right questions, knew exactly what we were looking for and found us the perfect house. Trevor and Raeanne spent countless hours with us, and were available at the drop of a hat with any needs/questions we had. My husband and I were always kept in the loop as to what was going on, as Raeanne and Trevor checked in with us frequently. It's a really amazing feeling knowing you're in good hands, and that your real estate team is working hard behind the scenes to make sure that their clients are happy and get everything they want! We could not be happier, and HIGHLY recommend Trevor and Raeanne to anyone who is looking to buy, or just has questions about how to get started. They are seriously amazing, we appreciate them so much and look forward to working with them again in the future! Go team #TrevorandRaeanneRealEstate! Thank you for all of your hard work, and everything you've done for us! read more

I can't recommend Trevor highly enough, I've never known someone work so hard in such a short space of time. We found him in an open house and later that day had to give him a call to ask him to write us an offer in just 3 days. He quickly arranged inspections for us, put us in touch with a lender, explained everything to us and wrote a winning offer. He is knowledgeable and works thoroughly to make sure his clients get the best outcome within their budget. He even took time for us newbies to meet with contractors etc. He was much more personable and genuine than other realtors I've met - give him a call! read more

I can't say enough good things about Trevor and Raeanne from Compass Real Estate. We've used them to sell a home and buy another and they've been a joy! They're incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, helpful, and they will really advocate for you! They will be our lifelong Brokers and we recommend them to everyone. If you're looking for a Broker--you've found them! And you won't be disappointed. read more

Trevor came recommended to us by two different sets of very close friends. This was our first home purchase and so we were probably a bit more needy than more seasoned buyers. Trevor always took the time to answer our questions thoughtfully, thoroughly and with a bit of humor. His analysis of the pricing structure for our house was spot on and he accurately predicted that the house was priced too high. We heeded his advice and came in at $19k less than list. After one round of countering, we ended up getting the house at $13k under list. The key was that he did the legwork to learn that we were going to be the only offer and we set our offer accordingly. A lesser agent would've suggested we don't go below list. Long story short, he saved us a large chunk of change. Trevor is a pro in every respect and we will gladly look to him down the road when the time comes. Thanks Trevor! read more

Trevor and Raeanne make the home-buying experience simple, fun, and efficient from start to finish. Simply put, there is no other amazing real estate duo I would rather have on my side than these two! A little over a year ago, they helped me purchase my first home, and I could not believe how easy it was! It was frankly unbelievable. So, a year later, we did it again! Within the course of a little over a year, I became a homeowner twice--flipping my first home into an investment property and purchasing a second home. I could never have imagined embarking on that endeavor without having Trevor and Raeanne by my side through the process, making it a fun, enjoyable, and smooth process. The commitment, expertise, and a genuine quality that these two bring to the partnership are unparalleled. I cannot speak highly enough about Trevor and Raeanne. Do NOT miss an opportunity to partner with them in your real estate pursuits. read more

Our experience with Trevor was amazing! He is so knowledgeable about the market and writing contracts. He is open and honest about making an offer, or NOT! Which I really appreciated! It wasn't about the sell for him, he genuinely cares about his clients and their wants and needs in a property and it shows!!! I would recommend him 10/10! Super fun, easy going and gets the job done! read more

Trevor & Raeanne are a real estate DREAM TEAM!!! They are SO knowledgeable about the area and the home buying process and walked us through every step of the way which was so helpful as we were first time home buyers. They showed us the house that we found online and then about 10 other AMAZING options, including the one we ended up buying! It was so fun to work with them and they are fantastically prompt and professional. We LOVE Raeanne and Trevor - if you are buying or selling a house in Seattle - reach out to them - you will not regret it!!!! read more

Trevor was recommended to us by a friend of the family to help us relocate from Denver to Seattle. Not an easy task, especially considering we were on a quick timeline for a new job and leaving our hometown with an infant daughter in tow. From the beginning, Trevor was SO available, honest, thorough, and no-nonsense with us. We trusted right from the beginning that Trevor had our best interest at heart. And he wasn't going to waste our time on less-than-ideal homes (like talking me out of buying the adorable but hot-mess fishing cabin that had been on the market over a year - he was like "trust me you don't need that in your life" - keeping it real and checking my crazy ideas!) He was frank about pros and cons of different neighborhoods, helped steer our search based on what was most important to us, and truly cared about our "musts" which kept our search realistic and saved us SO much time and heartache in the long run. He didn't try to push houses *he* liked, he found stuff *we* wanted and then gave us his honest assessments of the good and bad with each. We were able to see a good handful of houses that really met our needs, but in such a competitive market, our search still took over a month (and four offers on other homes before we got one accepted). Trevor never stopped communicating and was immediately ready to answer texts, check emails, and reply ASAP if we managed to see something new before he did. He was sick as a dog and still sending us videos while we were home in Denver of new houses on the market in Seattle because you just can't sleep on something you like. The one we eventually bought we didn't even see until we moved in! YIKES but with Trevor doing the ground work for us, we felt confident. And we LOVE IT!! I would recommend Trevor to ANYONE looking for a no-nonsense, non-sales-ey, honest and available agent to help with their house hunt. He isn't going to promise you the world, he's going to learn what is important to you, and help you find it in Seattle. A+++ read more

Trevor was highly recommended by my co-worker who's sold & purchased a house with him. And I'm so very glad that we got to know him and work with him. We just moved into our first home in Bothell and we could not have done it without Trevor. He truly wanted to make sure we were taken care of and happy. I was 100% sure that he would do everything in his power to make things work out for our benefit. Buying a first home is overwhelming and Trevor walked us through each step and answered any and all questions. My husband and I knew what we didn't want, but we needed someone who knows more to help us out during the hunt. Trevor was amazing at noticing things that we didn't because we just loved the house and that's exactly what we needed. He never said, don't buy this house or anything along that line but he would point things out for us so we can think about it. Good and the bad. He was always honest! He was always available when we had questions. Text, email or phone. He would get back within an hour and if he couldn't, he would respond within an hour to let you know when he can get back to you. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to work with Trevor again. read more

TL;DR - Trevor is fantastic. Use him! Now! Go.... Seriously! Are you on the phone with him yet? OK. Good. Seriously though, Trevor is a great agent. We relocated from the buyer's market that is the midwest and knew we needed someone top-notch for the ridiculous Seattle market. After dabbling a bit on our own, we began to focus on West Seattle and narrowed in on a few agents that seem to fit our needs. We interviewed multiple agents and jumped on the chance to work with Trevor. He's laid back and fun to work with, but completely professional. In our dealings with him, he knew exactly how to navigate this market and did it the right way. Trevor provided spot on advice of the current market and was able to tell us what we'd need to do to get a place. In looking back on our first meeting, Trevor's advice and evaluation of the market was exactly right. As we looked at houses, he knew how far we needed to go on a certain place, but had no reservations about opining on whether it was a good value. This candor really helped develop trust throughout the process. We trusted his advice and it thoroughly paid off! As we looked at houses all over West Seattle and the northern Seattle neighborhoods (Ballard, Crown Hill, Greenwood, Ravenna, etc.), Trevor was indispensable in providing his opinion on whether something was worth jumping on or not. When we finally found a townhouse we loved in Admiral (West Seattle), Trevor promised and then delivered results. We beat out five other offers, including all cash, and stayed under our max budget. We even utilized Trevor's recommended partners for financing and inspection (yes, Trevor was even able to keep in an inspection right!) and closed in about 3 weeks. I've heard so many horror stories about buying in Seattle. We definitely weren't one of them. In fact, this was my third house and I've never had a purchase go so smoothly. From buying and selling houses, I've worked with five different agents. Trevor is absolutely the best. Do your homework. Interview agents if you must. But in the end, go with Trevor. Then TRUST HIM. He'll make the process work if you let him. He's completely available, incredibly friendly/funny, and a complete professional. I can't recommend him enough. read more

Trevor helped us purchase our first home in Lynnwood! He was recommended to me by my excellent financial advisor who have some real estate of her own, so you know she recommends the best. Trevor was communicative, on time, responsive, knowledgeable (all facts) and most important trustworthy. I know that the recommendations and advice he was giving us came from knowledge and a good place. He was honest with what could help us not only buy a home but also maintain it for the future with no major obstacles. Trevor will be our real estate agent for the rest of our lives. Thank you Trevor! read more

The Seattle housing market is a tough cookie to crack. When we first started looking for a home, we attended open houses on our own. The daunting task of trying to find a home that would fit our needs, at the price point we wanted, while competing with a handful of other buyers was a difficult task. Luckily we met Trevor along the way. We met Trevor by luck at an open house, and this was one of the best things to have happened to us in the process. Having met many agents in the Seattle area, we found many to have a cavalier approach or just simply seemed disinterested. This was not the case with Trevor. Trevor's enthusiasm and work ethic is bar none the best one can ask for in a realtor. He listened to us, educated us, and found us the right home. Trevor is quick to respond to all questions - small or big, simple or complex. He was knowledgeable on the neighborhoods we were interested in, provided insight both positive and negative, and gave us straightforward and honest feedback. Not only did we gain a great realtor, but an even better friend - we could not have asked for a better professional. We would not hesitate to recommend Trevor to any of our friends in the future. read more

Trevor has been a pleasure to work with, and we are so grateful to have worked with him. As first-time homebuyers, he talked us through everything and made us comfortable with the process. With every place we saw, it was clear that Trevor didn't want us to buy just any home, but the right home for us. Best of all, Trevor is fun to spend time with! In a working relationship, it's a gift to actually enjoy their company. We can't recommend Trevor highly enough! read more

This is a late review, but I wanted to say that I agree with the previous reviewers! Trevor helped us buy a house last year and was so patient and flexible with our busy schedules. He was always positive and motivational, which helped us when dealing with a few outbids in this competitive Seattle market. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional, but also funny and made us feel like we could be as candid as we wanted. I appreciated his hard work ethic and honesty. He truly wants to help his clients get the right house for the best deal possible. We got a great house in the Beacon Hill neighborhood that has already increased in value by $100k!!! read more

Perseverance, Professional, Creative. That is how I would describe Trevor Russell's efforts in finding us our dream home. For over 6 months, Trevor showed us listing, called pre-listing and even called expired listing looking for that perfect home. We did not want to compromise and neither did Trevor. With all of the time that he spent working with us, he is like family now. We are very impressed and very thankful for all of his hard work. read more

I LOVE working with Trevor. He has been so wonderful in both helping us purchase our amazing new home and in selling the old loved one. He is extremely customer driven... He is detail oriented...what I love is that he listened to what we wanted, focused on those wants and needs, and even when the house wasn't on the market, found it in expired listings and exceeded our expectations and desires. Always cheerful and supportive, even during the stressful times that come with a home purchase, Trevor made our experience one of fun and laughter. I recommend him highly!!!!! read more

Trevor exceeded our expectations in helping us buy a home in West Seattle. He knew everything about the neighborhood and always pointed us in the right direction. He sent us new listings throughout the weekend and showed us numerous of properties during the weekends and whenever we were available. When we found the perfect house, he told us exactly what we had to do to win against several other offers. From the beginning to the end he worked hard for us and the whole process fun and seamless. We're very Thankful to Trevor and his team who helped us buy our dream home. I highly recommend Trevor and his team. read more

We met Trevor this past fall when we decided to buy our first home. He was the selling broker for a house we were interested in. Although we were not successful in our bid on that house, we were extremely impressed with the professionalism and friendliness he showed towards us throughout the process. As a result, we asked him to be our broker as we continued our quest to find the perfect first home. Trevor met us at houses on nights, weekends, and pretty much whenever we were available. He took us to dozens of houses and proved invaluable when evaluating properties and helping us read the market. You could tell he really wanted us to be happy with our purchase and not have any regrets. Trevor put in a tremendous amount of extra work to understand what we were looking for, and, in the end, found us the perfect home that we couldn't love more. And, on top of it all, he helped us get it under the list price, while he negotiated the installation of a completely new electrical system prior to close at the seller's expense. We will undoubtedly recommend Trevor to all of our friends looking to purchase a new home in the future. read more

"My husband and I worked with Trevor to buy our first home and it was a great experience! Trevor was a true asset in our home search - thanks to Trevor's advice and professionalism we were able to put together a winning offer on our dream home, despite several competing offers. Once our offer was accepted, Trevor hand managed the closing process to ensure it went finished flawlessly and on-time. It was a pleasure working with Trevor and I would recommend him to any of my friends. He is extremely professional, clearly enjoys helping buyers find their dream home, and will constantly work to put what's in the client's best interest first! He even went above and beyond after closing... which was super impressive! It isn't like we closed and he disappeared. Happy to know him and will not use anyone else in the future!" read more

Trevor made finding a home both enjoyable and seemingly easy, skills that are invaluable in a real estate agent. He really made it clear to us how the market in Seattle worked, and what we would need to do to write a successful offer. He was both friendly and professional, taking a lot of time to make sure we were clear on processes while maintaining a sense of humor (which can go a long way when you're house hunting!). I appreciated Trevor's honesty when we were looking at homes and neighborhoods; he had a strong feel for the value of a home. Trevor was always available to talk and make appointments for potential homes. Thanks, Trevor! We love our home! :-) read more

Trevor has been very helpful and available throughout our home search process. We never felt like we were rushed or pressured to get a place. Trevor always told us that it was about us and we can take as long as we want. He provided valuable feedback for things that we wouldn't know to look for during the house hunting. We didn't get our offer accepted on the first try but Trevor helped us with the purchase of a different unit in the same community! We are now in our West Seattle dream home because of his amazing work. We cannot thank Trevor enough for all the hard work that he has put in for us to make our first home purchase possible. I would highly recommend working with Trevor. read more

After interviewing several realtors, I decided to work with Trevor to help me in my search for a condo. His positive, eager and hardworking attitude stood out from the other realtors I met. Once we got going, he was quick to focus on a few key elements I was looking for. However, Trevor always made sure to get my thoughts first before offering his own so he could get my true first impression. He understood the need  for us to bounce around several neighborhoods as I was new to Seattle and not ready to narrow my focus to one specific area. As we worked together, I Trevor proved to be a very effective communicator when talking with various sellers agents, my lender, and myself. He was always quick to respond whether it be by text, phone or email. His communication skills, along with his tenacity, are very valuable in a competitive market like this. I recommend him, and plan on working with him whenever I decide to move again read more

Trevor was a delight to work with! He helped us get an offer accepted on a beautiful house in the competitive Seattle market only 12 days after we started looking at houses. We were able to close a month later. Trevor is enthusiastic, friendly, and very committed to the interests of his clients. We came in with little to no understanding of how the housing market worked, but Trevor was very patient and answered all of our questions. While we were fortunate to close quickly, Trevor assured us very genuinely at the outset that he would happily go with us to as many showings as we would like. Every step of this process went smoothly, which I largely attribute to Trevor. I can't recommend him enough! read more

I've worked with several real estate agents before finding Trevor. I just assumed the home buying experience was a certain way and had just settled with my previous experiences. After working with Trevor, I realized that the people I had worked with before just sucked. Our buying experience with Trevor was completely different (like night and day)! We had a tight time-frame and a tight budget. The pressure on our family was intense. However, after the first couple days of hiring Trevor, I wasn't as nearly as stressed out as I'd been when buying before. He made things easy and reassuring. He was fast, efficient and available to show us a house fast. His negotiating skills are top notch. He has way more confidence, knowledge and experience than most agents, which was evident when talking to them. We got a good price in a tough market (Seattle Area). It's not like the buddy-buddy crap I've seen within the real-estate group where the agents seem to working more with each other to screw over their clients. I would recommend him fully for buying or selling your home. read more
