I've just read many stellar reviews here for Scott Monroe and Molly Kemper and can attest that we had the same astoundingly positive and seamless experience with this team that others have had. We were in what could have been a difficult position in terms of selling our West Seattle home. We'd unexpectedly fallen in love with a property north of Seattle and bought it. Covid-19 hit the Seattle area at that exact time, followed soon after by the sudden closure of the West Seattle Bridge, the main route in and out of our Seattle neighborhood. We now owned two homes and it was essential that we sell our Seattle house quickly and for a good price in very uncertain times. I knew from experience that I wanted a real estate agent who was intimately familiar with the neighborhood and I chose Scott and Molly when I found them online on the Windermere site. I liked what I saw there (many successful sales) but it was upon meeting them that everything fell into place. We were struck by their warmth, depth of knowledge and honesty. Their love of houses and eye for detail came through and we particularly appreciated their frank assessment about improvements we might make to insure that our house would sell quickly and for a good price. Scott's background in construction and Molly's eye for design and use of space make for such a winning combination. Add to that their access to a stable of talented and on-the-spot contractors who they called in and oversaw after we moved to our new house and you can see why, as we all joked, we completely drank their Kool-aid. We weren't there and they were! We were constantly amazed by how hard the two of them worked to make sure that the house was exactly right--no detail was too small for them and they were at the house all the time. We happily followed every piece of advice the two of them gave us and were rewarded when we accepted a healthy offer for over the asking price in just 4 days. We were thrilled As a side note, in the process of preparing the house for sale and the sale itself it became clear that Scott and Molly enjoy very positive relationships with other realtors. That mutual trust and excellent communication built over years is not to be underestimated. It can make all the difference. For us personally, every meeting we had with Scott and Molly was a joy and there is probably not a day that passes, even two months later, when we don't think of them with great fondness and gratitude. They are the absolute best! Stand back and watch them work their magic.

He's happy and willing to share opinions and advice, but he'll support and guide you in whatever direction you decide. We were in a very hectic period while selling our house, and Kevin was awesome in helping out. He hired and organized landscapers, painters, and a staging service for us so we didn't need to lift a finger. His experience and approach best came into play when we reviewed multiple offers. He laid out the pertinent details of each offer and suggested various paths forward. Ultimately it was our decision, but his guidance and straightforward approach were super helpful. His negotiation style is great, he strives to put together a solid proposal and isn't interested in nitpicking the details (although if you really wanted to do that, I'm sure he'd oblige. But don't do that, listen to him and look at the bigger picture!). I keep hearing horror stories from friends and family about terrible real estate agents, which makes me feel so lucky we found Kevin. There's no bs to deal with, he's in it for the long game and knows getting the best outcomes for his clients is how he wins. We actually tried to buy with him a few years back, but he was selling the townhouse so he referred us to another agent for the final sale. So I unreservedly recommend him!

I don't think there are words that carry enough weight to describe Joey. I found myself in a…read moresituation probably similar to many people a few years ago: in a condo worth less than I owed, taking pay cuts at work due to economic slow down, a real estate market in the tank. I tried several times to take advantage of government programs, my mortgage holders programs, anything to get my mortgage restructured so I could stay in the condo but nothing came through. I was at the end of the road and had resigned myself to going through a foreclosure and trashing my credit for a long time. I told Joey my situation and she recommended we try and short-sale my condo, I was game for anything but very skeptical that it could get done because nothing was selling and the last unit that did sell was woefully low. I told her my reservations and worries and she told me to get her some information, not worry about it, and let her go to work. The process was slow at first but Joey was hustling on my behalf, pretty soon we started to get people trickling in and in a few months we had 4 offers stacked up ready to roll. As soon as I started to get my hopes up that I could get out of this jam the bank came back and said all the offers were too low and gave us the lowest number they would take. I was sure that was the end and I was sunk, Joey kept working on the bank and the buyers until she was miraculously able to get a buyer and the bank to the same number, unbelievable! Then we found out the condo building was too far behind on HOA payments to accept the buyers loan, again Joey came to the rescue and worked out a deal to get enough of the HOA's paid to make the percentages right. Joey was literally the light at the end of a tunnel for me and I am in debt to her forever. More importantly than being an awesome realtor Joey is a super person, honest, down to earth, and trustworthy. I will absolutely work with Joey again and always refer my friends and family to her.

My husband and I were in the market to buy a house in either Mercer Island, Bellevue, or Kirkland…read morebut we were living in San Francisco and were doing most of our looking using real estate apps. We knew that we were going to need an agent to help us because the apps are nothing compared to an experienced agent. We were in Seattle for 4 days to try to find a home that met all of our needs and Joey respected our crunch for time and our budget. We had our two little ones along on the tours for some of the days and Joey was able to help us juggle the kids, too! The tours: Joey had about 30 houses for us to look at in the areas that we were interested in so we were very busy. We had a wide range of sizes and prices so we got a good feel for what our money would buy. Joey didn't rush us one bit. We revisited a few homes once we narrowed our options down and we spent a fair amount of time looking, talking, and looking again. I appreciated the fact that Joey allowed my husband to fully talk over each house and did not insert her opinion until we asked; she kept all of her replies based on resale and the value of the property. Very objective. The offer: Joey was able to very quickly get a home inspector on the property that we decided to make an offer on which was important to us because we had to move fast as others were pre-inspecting the house. We bought in December so that may have something to do with it, but I feel like she treats people well so when she calls, they try to accommodate her. The inspector that she recommended was very thorough and found items that resulted in Joey suggesting that we offer less than asking on a house on Mercer Island. I was nervous about offering less, but Joey read the situation correctly and our offer was accepted. She is a strong negotiator. She looks all sweet on the outside- don't be fooled by that! All of this happened within our 4 day visit. It was a great feeling to fly home to San Francisco knowing that we had an offer accepted on a home. Financial Stuff: Joey recommended that we use Caliber Loans. They are quick, thorough, and well-regarded. (We did come pre-approved so that step was taken care of and made the buying process much faster). Long-Distance Relationship: Joey was very quick to communicate by email, phone, or text whenever we had any questions. Caliber Loans and Joey both sent all papers using Verisign and it was easy to close even though we were in California. She sent our keys overnight with some goodies for the girls (which they loved!). She helped us find a landscaper to keep the property clean until we move in, researched an issue with our new neighbor about a tree in our yard, and she continued to respond quickly to any and all questions that we've had. She has been AMAZING! If you are living out of state and are looking to buy, call her. She makes everything so easy. I know that when we go to sell this house and then buy our next one, Joey will be our realtor.

When I got to this house the broker Jim Gram looked us up and down and decided we didn't belong in his listing. My grandmother and I felt so uncomfortable we decided to leave before seeing any of the other rooms. After getting into my car I looked back to the house and saw that Jim Gram was recording us with his cell phone. I've been to many open houses in the past and I've always found the agents to be very helpful and kind but after my experience today I don't see myself attending an open house again any time soon. I would never hope to work with a man like Jim Gram.

Randie was rude, slow to respond, and regularly got even the smallest details of the negotiation and transaction wrong. In regards to our financing, we used Navy Federal Credit Union, the best and highest rated credit union in the United States. She bad mouthed it from the start, saying she didn't know if she could trust our financing because she'd never heard of NFCU. She even requested we put up more earnest money because she didn't trust NFCU. We found this highly disrespectful on a personal level, and also to active duty and veterans. When it came to closing, Randie did not make sure her clients left the property in a suitable manner. They left behind toxic chemicals, paint, and junk. The place was filthy. She also pushed us to accept a "free" refrigerator in the storage unit, but did not disclose there was no 220 outlet, and that we weren't allowed to plug it in and run it. We had to pay to have it removed. Also, there is a HUGE cut out in the living room carpet that she nor the owners disclosed. They covered it up with boxes when we did the walk through, and left a carpet runner over it when they moved out, as if we would not look under it or move it. Overall, we found Randie to be rude and highly unprofessional. We have bought and sold several homes, so we know what a good agent looks like. Randie Stone is not that agent.

From professionalism and Seattle real estate knowledge and experience, to candidness and responsiveness, he has everything we were looking for. My husband and I were using another realtor for a few months from March to June 2015 and while he was fine, he was just fine. He didn't go above and beyond, didn't grasp what we wanted, and was a little too opinionated. In the fall of 2015 we resumed our house search and started interviewing other realtors. Tyler was a referral to us from a lender (who we didn't even use) and we met with him in November to see how he was. We walked out of the meet and greet with our minds made up. Due to Tyler's guidance and close connections in the industry, we were immediately successful in our house hunt and our first offer for one of the highly coveted Fort Lawton brick homes in Discovery Park was accepted just before Christmas. My husband and I then started having second thoughts and we backed out. From November through May, 100+ house viewings and three offers later, we finally found a charming Queen Anne craftsman on a hill of ivy and birch trees. We adore our new home and we couldn't have done it without Tyler. We highly recommend him.

Tyler came through - and then some. I felt very assured and confident that my interests were taken care of, that Tyler didn't need me to PM him because he was already on the ball, and I could relax and let him walk me through the home purchasing process (and it was my second time through it). Here's the kicker. At the time of my home purchase, I had accidentally sprained BOTH my ankles (yes, literally, both ankles, sprained badly, long story) - and was very immobile. Tyler walked my dog a couple times, and (the best part) even literally hand carried me into the signing of the papers and escrow, too (because I could not walk). Yes - now that is commitment. Recently, when I was considering doing a refinancing on my home, Tyler was quick to respond to my inquiries and did a market analysis for me, too. He's not only about the dollar signs and sale - and as a result, a real meaningful friendship has grown over the past five years I've known him - from events, to parties, to business introductions, to meeting significant others, and checking out cool new eateries. He's played an important part of my life - and will continue to in the future. Loyalty, trust, and respect are key values you'll find with Tyler.
