I rarely ever give 5 stars but this place is worth it to me and I will tell you why. I've been there 3 times and each time has been such a peaceful experience. The last couple of times I've enjoyed the wine flights with some salami cheese and bread and crackers that we bring to enjoy with our drinks. The owners are super nice and informative on their wines. They tell you where they grow the grapes and the flavors or each one based of the sheet they give you. We've purchased a couple of bottles of them so far based on the flights they pour for us. The view is modest but there is a lot of seating and they have live music on Sundays. So get there early for a great seating area. I love bringing new people there because of the peaceful environment. read more

I'd recommend calling to see what their hours are (just to be safe)-- they typically close at 7pm but the day we went they were going to close an hour early for a private event. Read about this local winery in Lakeside in the UT earlier this year and finally got around to trying it out on. Saturday. It is a bit of a drive from central San Diego but not too bad. The setting was a nice East County type of atmosphere some rolling hills and large rocks. Scenic. The tasting room is smallish but nice out seating areas to relax and enjoy the views. Tasting of 5 wines was $21. You could also buy glasses of wine about $7.50 each. Bottle prices about $30 to $40 It was not crowded. The women who poured the tasting was friendly. Reason for the low rating is that the wines were not very good. Maybe 1 of the 5 I would have had a glass of.....our whole group had same consensus. Give this place a few more years and maybe the grapes will mature and be better. We brought a picnic and they are dog friendly....so nice. They saw they are going to have a restaurant at some point. read more

We had the best time visiting Trevi Hills on a Sunday! First off, they are extremely dog friendly which was a huge plus for us as we love to bring our pup along with us whenever we can. They even allowed us to bring him inside the winery with us. The service was amazing, everyone is so kind and has great recommendations! The views are gorgeous and it's such a peaceful place to sit. They also had live music on a Sunday afternoon which made for a fun experience. They don't sell food here but they do allow you to bring in your own so we grabbed a few snacks to pair with our wine on the way there. Loved visiting this winery! Perched on rolling hills, this winery has a beautiful view and a cute outdoor area. We really enjoyed coming here and sipping on wine while enjoying the beautiful weather that day. We came on a Friday morning and luckily it wasn't busy. They also allow you to walk through their vineyard which is always nice. I tried one of the rose wines which was pretty good. Their wine was also very reasonably priced. My sister and I went here after getting our nails done to try the wine and hang out before going to dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised! Kat was so sweet and very welcoming, she really made the experience 10x better. It was a little cold but Kat walked outside with us to help us find a spot near a heater where we would be comfortable. Tastings are a lil over $20, but the owner will give you a taste before you buy a bottle if you ask nicely. Generous pours and amazing service. We discovered this winery pre-covid, when I was trying to see if there were any wineries nearby that didn't involve the chaos of Temeulca. We went here with low expectations, but we instantly fell in love as soon as we got here! Such a hidden little gem! I love the outdoor area and the amazing views. We always end up sitting out there for hours, just soaking up the sun and good vibes! They don't serve food here, but your welcome to bring your own food. We usually pack our own cooler bag full of cheese/salami and make a charcuterie board. The girl who usually serves us is so sweet and welcoming. She always makes us feel at home. The wine is incredible! I've never had a wine here that I didn't enjoy. We've never had any issues getting a table here, or had to deal with a wait time. We've even called a head of time to reserve a table for a large birthday party and they were happy to accommodate. I highly recomend visiting trevi hills. Especially if you live in east county and want to take a short uber ride. read more

The wines are exceptional Italian style varieties, and Mike is an extremely knowledgeable sommelier whose a really funny and easy going guy. The winery itself is dog friendly, with nice views of the vineyards and homes that surround it. Great way to relax during an afternoon or early evening. One of our favorite Wineries in the area! We live in Lakeside, so there are a couple in Ramona, then Rancho Bernardo as well. But Trevi Hills hits all the good spots! Its nice you can bring your dogs, super comfortable seating with shaded area in the grass with some nicer views of the valley. SO if you have dogs, its super comfortable for them while you wine sip! Good service: check; good wines: check; good location: check. This is one of the places I wish stayed a well kept secret, but I support small business and I am happy to write a stellar review for this one. A group of us went there for Mother's Day and Kathleen gave us some excellent wine recommendations; she is knowledgeable and personable, and we enjoyed her suggestions. I also briefly talked to the owner, a kind and friendly gentleman, who was busy making sure things ran smoothly. Regarding the wine, we had a combination of wine tastings and wines by the glass. The wines by the glass were the Primitivo, the Pinot Noir and the Sangiovese Rose', all solid, good quality wines, also reasonably priced. The wine tasting offers a variety of five different wines. Yesterday selection was two rose's (one of them was the Sangiovese), one white (I think it was the Sauvignon Blanc) and two reds (Pinot Noir was one of the two). All were nice and dry and served at the perfect temperature; also the pours were not the meager ones you get at other wineries... No food is sold here, but customers are welcome to bring their own snacks and picnic, which we did, and it was great. My only suggestion is to please provide more shade for the tables and chairs, there were a couple of shaded areas, but the rest was in the sun which I don't mind at all, but was a little too much for some of the other ladies. Trevi hills is a great hidden little gem! It's a smaller winery but the view and outdoor environment is so beautiful! Something I learned the hard way is that there is no food, BUT they allow you and welcome you to bring your own snacks to enjoy. They are dog friendly and do not require reservations. I brought my daughter and the wonderful lady working was so kind and genuine and let her roam and play, she even gave my daughter an empty box for us to play with. In my opinion the staff went above and beyond and it was such a great experience. I highly recommend this winery. Now to the important part...the wine! I ordered a flight to try them and every single one was good. We even bought their port to try and it was absolutely delicious, we bought another port to go. read more

The winery is fun and secluded. Located in an unassuming valley north of Lakeside on Muth Valley Road which is off of Wildcat Canyon Road, one could pass up this hidden gem and not even know it. It isn't well known because of it's location and its affiliation with the luxury housing development across the street. They have a good selection of Italian inspired wines with the grapes locally grown on the property and in the housing development. I want to get real and personal? It was really nice and beautiful scenery. However they don't sell food so you have to bring your own. It is medium in size.

Been here several times now and it's been consistently very cozy, peaceful and nice. Atmosphere is great! Lots of comfy tables and chairs, umbrellas, grass and games. Indoor seating, too. No food so bring your own. We DoorDashed some deli sandwiches. But, we've been here before with charcuterie boards, and another time we hired our own taco cart to serve guests at my daughter's engagement party we had there. Bought debark cases of wine and venue had someone bartend. They supplied all of the tables, chairs and linens as well as one large covered patio space. My husband made outside light poles and we strung up fairly lights throughout the lower part of the yard, right next to the vineyard. The owner bought out lights and poles so now they'll have those to supply for future events :) My only real suggestion now is to create a more solid stairway or some more solid steps that lead from the upper yard to the lower yard. It's hard for older people who are unbalanced and women in any kind of heels to get from the top to the bottom. read more
