So I finally deviated from my usual order of seafood penne bolognese and I tried the gnocchi with a spicy marinara sauce. JESUS, it was glorious. The gnocchi tasted homemade and the spicy sauce paired very nicely with it for a seriously satisfying meal. This simple but delicious pasta was paired perfectly with my Friday night in watching Netflix. It was very filling and I'm glad I tried something new. I've recommended this restaurant to my friends who live in this area and want a solid, real Italian dining experience. I've always ordered out but the restaurant is cute, cozy, and the staff is inviting. It's 1230pm and I'm currently waiting for them to open at 3 so I can order lol. Side note: I know many places have had to cut back on portion size due to cost increases but I don't believe Trevi has done this. The portions are still plentiful and that is much appreciated. Found a gem! Wondering around Glenside and stumbled upon this place and afterwards felt like it was our lucky day. Started with Caesar salad for wife and daughter. Said it was one of the best they've ever had. Lettuce was fresh and dressing did not drench the lettuce and overpower the dish. I had to try it and agreed it was very good. Bread served with it was wArm and good. Nice touch that it was warm. Entrees were the seafood bolognese which I sampled and confirmed it was very good. Wife got the Antonio's special which was good amount of prosciutto and some vegetables with sharp provolone. Again I tried this as well( felt like I had to to give an honest opinion-and because when they put the plate down on the table, I was having some regret that I didn't order the same thing). It looked delicious (see photos) and tasted as good as it looked. So I went with the cheesesteak and after my first bite, my earlier regret quickly changed to relief. At first look I thought maybe it could have used a little more meat but later realized it was the perfect amount. The meat was chopped nice and fine and seasoned perfectly. Excellent cheese to meat ratio. Now the roll was an excellent accoutrement( don't be impressed, it was the "word of the day"). It was lightly toasted and held up very well. Later speaking with Tina, found out it was a Corropolese bakery roll. Never had one but am now a huge fan( sorry Liscio). Been a while since I had a cheesesteak to rave about let alone a whole meal so today was a good day. Finally the 5 star food was only enhanced by the 5 star service. Tina was warm, friendly and efficient. Answered all our questions and was quite informative. Will be back for sure to try other menu items. read more

If you're in a hurry, this is not the place. If you want to chill and enjoy, this is the place. Mussels are great. Salads delicious. The highlight of the pizza menu is the Smoked Traditional. I also like the Prosciutto and the White. Zeppole for desert is the perfect ending. Highly recommend. read more

Our son and daughter in law took us to an early Mother's Day dinner. Our waitress was so sweet. When she realized our grandsons loved the bread, she brought a second basket. I had the chicken cutlet special with pesto linguine. I hate to admit it but the cutlets were better than mineand the pasta was delicious. The boys (4 and 7) ate every bit of their chicken fingers(same delicious cutlets). My husband loved his sausage/pasta dish and our son and daughter in law enjoyed theirs as well. Been on a bit of a pizza journey in the local area to find the best pie. And this week I found myself at the doorstep of TreVi. After hearing rave reviews of this pizza joint on the app NextDoor I had to give it a try. This is a unique pizza as it is one of the thinnest that have had so far with a crispy thin crust, fresh mozzarella and sauce dotting the top. I would recommend eating this pizza as soon as you get it as that is when it's at its best. read more

Trevi's is just an incredible quiet gem. The food is all spectacular, especially, no sorry it's just all great, I can't think of anything we've had there that isn't fantastic. The environment is calm and cozy, especially the back patio. The servers are genuinely wonderful people who offer great menu advice, service, and conversation. Chelsea deserves a huge raise for the number of times we've come back because of her. It's our favorite neighborhood spot. read more

My family loves TreVi, food is great, pasta/pizza - all good! Definetly plan ahead with a reservation, I've never gone without one because it is crowded on the weekends but even a day ahead of time we've always been able to get a one. We go early with the kids and it is great, we all love it. Parking is metered out front or there is a municipal lot across the street. Also a BYOB, always a plus! Pretty intimate in size and feel. There was two of us and we ordered garlic parm fries, clams, goat cheese pizza and chicken (no cheese) steak. We both wnjoyed our food. It is a BYOB so I brought a white wine. The waitress asked if we wanted ice for the wine and of course we said yes (it was 90° outside and it's wine wine) and she brought us back a cup of ice. She noticed that the wine bag had HBD on it and asked and brought my friend a birthday cannoli which was great, and tasty. Over we had a good time, enjoyed our meal and the bill was VERY reasonable. Best Italian food around! Actually, best food I've had in years. Since moving to the area almost 2 years ago, we've tried so many restaurants and some were pretty good, but most were disappointing. We've been back to TreVi so many times since discovering this gem about 3 months ago. Heard a lot about this place so we decided to give it a try. Loved it. My husband had the risotto special and he couldn't stop talking about. I tasted it and was absolutely delicious. My crab cakes were delicious and the gnocchi with it were yummy soft puffs of potatoes. Best of all the tiramisu. Probably one of the best around. Creamy Rummy yummy. Service was great. I went to TreVi for my birthday dinner with a large group of us (16 people) on a Friday night at 7:30 and they were very accommodating. They asked if we would be okay at two tables of 8, and it was perfectly fine they put us right next to each other and everyone had a great time. They are a from scratch kitchen so you can essentially create the meal you want if it's not already on the menu. My table ordered their traditional pizza, charcuterie board, Brussels sprouts and fried ravioli as appetizers. We wanted the prosciutto poppers but they were out (guess we have to go back to try them). Everything was delicious! I got the crab cakes, the rest of the table ordered pastas and a chicken parm. Everyone said their dish was amazing. Our server, Chelsea, was great. She gave us a heads up that food may take some time since we were such a large party but the apps came out in great time and really held us over till dinner was served. Tre Vi is a family owned neighborhood gem. They serve Italian cuisine staples like chicken parm, margarita pizza and cannolis-all of which I highly recommend. Keep in mind this place gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights so I would recommend making a reservation. They were very busy so service was a bit slow, but our server (Chelsea) did everything she could to keep us informed and happy at all times. Our food was phenomenal. I had a "Cippolino" (linguini with seafood) that was excellent. Their wine selection is not the greatest so I recommend BYOB. The calamari is also excellent. I will return. read more

We visited TreVi for an early dinner, it was my first outing other than the grocery store and doctor office in 6 or so months (I truly don't remember). What a treat! We were greeted by a staff wearing masks the PROPER way and the hostess took temperatures at the door. The main dining area was set up for plenty of diners to enjoy a meal at a responsible distance. Our server Chelsea was super friendly and attentive, making menu suggestions as we let her know we were first-timers. We settled on the calamari to start and smoked traditional pizza with pepperoni and the seafood bolognese for entrees. I'm not the biggest calamari fan but my boyfriend loves it. This was the best calamari either of us have ever had. Most places serve you breaded, fried rings of rubber but this was delicious and perfectly cooked! Entrees lived up to their reputations as well! The pizza was deliciously toasty and the seafood bolognese was so good we got a second order to go (and they even gave us extra sauce for reheating so it wouldn't dry out). We boxed up portions of our entrees so we could leave room for dessert because why not? He got the cannoli (they're huge and you get two!) and I got the pistachio Gelato. Another win. In short, super friendly staff, excellent food. TreVi will definitely be a regular date night venue for us! read more

Ate there recently with family. Many fond memories of its predecessor Rizzo's from having lived in Glenside in the mid-90s. Loved the Big Red pizza! Oh, well! Was looking forward to trying TreVi, as the kids had eaten there and seemed to be positive about the food. Unfortunately, TreVi is not Rizzo's, although the interior layout mirrored what I remembered from my many trips there (this reminiscing cannot be good). I will say that the staff was very pleasant, which lessened some of the disappointment I experienced from the food. The "bread" we were served prior to arrival of our order consisted of what could have been a single roll sliced into strips. Very strange, to say the least. Why not bring out a small basket of rolls and dispense with the cheap lead-in? The food was...meh. Our order included pizza, calamari and wings. The wings and calamari were left a bit too long in the fryer, and I'm not much of a fan of over-fried food. The pizza was overpriced and lacking in character: crust that tasted like it came from a grocery store mix, topped with sauce that lacked flavor and distinction. Definitely not up to the Rizzo standard! There was entertainment the night we went, something I don't seem to run across much these days. The food here had some highs and some lows. We hadn't been since it was Rizzo's and they've done a lovely job remodeling; really turning it from looking like a pizza restaurant into something much nicer. We felt slightly under dressed and so not part of the "in crowd" watching couple after couple walk in with fancy wine carriers as we waited 1/2 hour for a table on a Friday night (we sadly don't own a fancy wine carrier). We started with a mixed green salad and small plate fettuccini. We loved the salad, crisp and perfectly dressed in a simple vinaigrette with thinly sliced red onion and tomato. The fettuccini was also delicious, al dente and in a very light, cheesy (but not gloppy) sauce. They served bread which was basically softish hoagie rolls sliced up but it was nice and fresh. Everything tasted so good we could hardly wait for our "Trevi Traditional" pizza to come out. And here is where Trevi trippied - the pizza was NOT good, at all. I didn't like the dry card-boardy crust, the indifferent sauce and cheese or the over spiced, weirdly textured meatballs. We each ate a slice then took the rest home where it sat around our house for a couple of days til hubby ate some and then fed the rest to the birds. They were out of the chocolate mascarpone dessert we wanted so we ended with just cappuccino which was very good. Our server was reasonably efficient and friendly, albeit in a sort of forced manner. There is no parking lot so you take your luck finding a spot on the street. If I was rating just on the starters and decor I'd give them a 4 but our main course the pizza was barely a 2 so I guess I go with a 3 here. If hubby will buy me a really cool wine carrier we may go back and try some different things, but we will not be trying any more pizza! read more

I came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary dinner and am rather pleased with the food. The restaurant itself has a rather homey feel to it with the cookbooks and pictures all over the walls. I could also tell it was family run, with children coming in and out of the kitchen and hanging out with the hostess. Our waitress was funny and quirky and really set the mood for a chill evening. We started off with the complimentary bread and a bottle of water that was brought to the table. I really liked this because we drink a lot of water with food and this way we didn't have to make the waitress keep running back to the table to refill it! We opted for the antipasto appetizer, which I really enjoyed. There was smoked ham and a funny kind of bologna (which I wouldn't have included), roasted red peppers, spicy hot peppers, kalamata olives, Parmesan cheese, and candied walnuts. It was a big portion for just two people and I pretty much filled up on that part of the meal. For my entree I got a seafood Bolognese that was to die for! Mini scallops, shrimp, and crab meat with a creamy pink sauce on top of penne pasta is my kind of dish. With a little Parmesan cheese to top it all off, it was the perfect mix of flavors and a very generous portion. I of course had lots of leftovers to take home. My boyfriend had the pesto gnocchi, which had an exquisitely strong sauce, but the portions were not nearly as large as mine. The price difference made sense, and I feel as though the menu was very reasonable. It is byob and the pizzas looked enticing when coming out of the kitchen, so a more relaxed evening with friends or family is very possible at this venue. read more

Went for Valentine's Day but ordered from the menu. The charcuterie board appetizer was a great deal and delicious cheese paired with fruits and a cherry spread was recommended. It did not fail to meet expectations. Had the sun dried tomato gnocchi which was delicious. Other pasta dishes looked great as well. Would definitely go back as it is as good as any Italian restaurant in the city but easier parking and much more spacious inside than most restaurants downtown. read more

Service and food were very good..only negative is you do not get a salad with your meal. That always bothers me as salad I feel should always be offered with a meal you are paying a good amount for, considering salad is inexpensive to begin with. We came here for dinner last night and it was great. We had reservations for 8.30 because last time we tried to go, there was a 40 min wait. This time there was no waiting; the restaurant only had a few tables, so we were seated immediately. Our server was really nice. She grabbed us drinks and bread pretty quick. We ordered calamari for an appetizer which was amazing. It was a decent size for the two of is to share. I had a 12 inch margarita pizza which was pretty good as well. The tomatoes are the same consistency as ones you'd find on a tomato pie, plus some argula and basil...yum! I couldn't eat it all so I took it home! read more

We haven't been to Trevi since before the pandemic, but this was one of our favorite places to go as a family with two little kids--particularly on Sunday's for the family style dinners. You get a little bit of everything--salad, meatballs or chicken parm, pizza, pasta AND dessert (zeppoli!)--at an affordable price AND it's all really delicious! I've heard great things about this restaurant. For my birthday we decided to try it and ordered take out at 4:30 PM. The restaurant was empty. Maybe this wasn't the best way to try a new place? The food was 15 minutes late and we picked-up. The smoked mozzarella pizza was cold and burned on one side. My husband found a 1/4" x 3/8" rectangular piece of white plastic in his cobb salad. My favorite spot in Glenside! Not only is the food delicious but all of the employees are amazing! They truly make you feel like family. Many BYOBs have a limited menu - not this place! You can go for pizza, pasta, traditional Italian dishes or even a cheesesteak. My favorite thing to do is order a little bit of everything (and take home leftovers for the next day)! My go-to items are Trevi traditional pizza and the rosa pasta. Also, the gelato is homemade and so delicious! If you're in the area, I highly recommend this spot. Even if you're not in the area, I still recommend this spot as it is conveniently located across the street from the Glenside train station. read more

I live across the street, and have ordered their pizza several times, and it's good. But tonight I ordered something different--Basil Pesto Gnocci with Pine Nuts, and added Chicken. I'm no connoisseur of anything, but I've never had gnocci like this. It is much better than any gnocci I've ever had, and crazy delicious with a wonderful texture. The pesto is amazing. The only thing I wish is that they had stirred the chicken up better, because it is mostly at the bottom so I ate more of the gnocci first. It was $17, but it was worth it, especially being my first experience of quality Italian. And here I was looking forward to the bread. read more

This was our second visit and everything was terrific. Our waitress was friendly & fun. The food was great. Started with bruschetta. For entrees we had Gorgonzola gnocchi, chicken Marsala & the nightly special, pesto fettuccini with scallops. One child had the fried ravioli for her dinner. Everything was fresh and tasty.
