My bestie and I decided to celebrate our recent promotions at TreVI since it's close to his house and neither of us have ever been. I made a reservation and selected that we were visiting for a celebration and wanted a regular table, not a high top. When we arrived we were escorted to the bar side of the restaurant and brought to a high top. The hostess was happy to move us to a nearby regular table when I mentioned it, which we were happy about. We started with cocktails - a white sangria and one of their signature cocktails - the orange blossom. Both were presented nicely and really good. For our apps we opted for the pizza bread with pesto and calamari. I don't like calamari much, but my bff loves it. However, I ended up having 3 pieces because it was so good. The pizza bread wasn't what I envisioned. It was a very thin, almost flatbread like texture, with a thick layer of pesto. I should have opted for the tomato topping instead. For our entrees, we did the make your own pasta dish with gnocchi, grilled chicken, peas, and a Rosa sauce, the chicken piccata, and a side of the parmesan roasted potatoes. The gnocchi was the standout here. It was pillowy, light, and so flavorful with the Rosa sauce. I could have eaten the whole thing. The chicken piccata was a little strong on the lemon side and the sauce needed to be a bit thicker. If it was served over pasta I think it would have taken it up a notch. The crispy parmesan potatoes were a hit. They were seasoned very well and delicious. They have a selection of desserts as well, but we decided to skip this time around. Of all the restaurants in Glenside, TreVi is definitely the town's pride and joy. It's a welcoming, family-friendly and family-owned business that I hope will stay open for many, many years. I visited for the first time (definitely won't be my last!) on Sunday evening with a few girlfriends. The area is popular due to the Keswick Theatre being nearby, so I definitely recommend a reservation. Every dish here is authentically Italian and made from scratch. It's a BYOB establishment and gives off an early 2000's Tuscan vibe. Props to our waitress, Chelsea, who didn't miss a beat. She made the dining experience so enjoyable. I was with friends that are regulars at Trevi, and she remembered what they typically order. It's clear she genuinely enjoys her job and goes above and beyond for her customers. Our group ordered a few appetizers to start - the Brussels sprouts and fried burrata ravioli were great options for vegetarians like me. The Brussels were seasoned nicely and the fried ravioli was crispy. I highly recommend the eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant was thinly sliced and breaded. I asked for spaghetti on the side and it came with the perfect amount of sauce. Chelsea also stopped by with a cheese grater and sprinkled some cheese on top. We couldn't leave without having desserts and there were plenty of those to go around. I personally couldn't wait to try the banana gelato and I was not disappointed one bit! It was thick, creamy and full of banana flavor. From the food, to the service, to the customers, everything you encounter at TreVi is wholesome. The energy inside just makes you feel at home. We went to TreVi for the first time recently, expecting it meet the 4 star Yelp rating - unfortunately our meal did not. It was good, but I thought it would be better than 'good'. We had the Chicken Marsala and the Eggplant Parmesan. The chicken dish was okay, the sauce was fine as was the chicken. However, the eggplant wasn't the typical eggplant Parmesan, which is typically served in a casserole type dish with alternating layers of eggplant, gravy and cheese. These were round pieces of fried eggplant, with marinara and cheese layered on top. It was underwhelming. The prices are reasonable - as is the food. read more

My husband and I had a 7:00 reservation. We arrived at 7:03. We told the lady at the counter that we had a 7:00 reservation and then she answered the phone. We stood there for about 6 minutes and she was still talking to the customer on the phone. No update about our table. No sorry for the wait. So we left because it was obvious the person on the phone was more important than the customer standing in front of her. I called to tell her why we left because I believe it's important to allow business to improve. She told me I was 3 minutes late and that my table was not ready. What was the point of mentioning that I arrived at 7:03 if my table was not ready. A simple apology would have gone a long way. read more

April 27, 2023 - In town for daughter's b-day and senior exhibition at Arcadia University. Amber was awesome and attentive. The place was immaculate and clean. A peek in the kitchen confirm almost surgical conditions!! Got some canned vodka drinks due to PLCB wine and beer only license and no non alcoholic beer for me so went with water. Ordered a parmesan bread app with spaghetti sauce that was not very good or interesting. 4/10 (the bread in a basket with butter packets was better) My daughter got a not now on the menu (that we had told her about when my wife had seen it online when we made the reservation from Florida. The chef (owner?) said no problem. My daughter (22 today) said the BEST penne alfredo she had ever had. I tasted it and it was perfect. The pasta was el dente and the sauce velvety and perfectly cheesy. 10/10 My wife got the seafood fra diablo that was wonderfully cooked and displayed (see pictures) and had some very good product and a spicy sauce that was terrific. 8/10 I got a vegan attempted red sauce pizza with vegetables. (mushrooms, onions, peppers, broccoli, etc) this was very good, but the crust was a bit soggy and wet from the vegetables. I also wished there was at least ONE vegetarian or vegan option on the menu? This was what I settled on when I was told they could not make a vegetable Stromboli without cheese?? 6/10 I will say the food did seem to take an extended period of time for such simple ingredients and entrée? We liked this restaurant so much that we decided to have our 27-person wedding rehearsal dinner here. First off, the food is amazing. We tried a few other Italian restaurants around the area, and only TreVi hit the mark. Second, the team makes it really easy to have a nice time. The staff is really friendly, courteous, and speedy. Priced to perfection, TreVi is affordable given the quality and quantity of food given. The space is well-configured with seating on the lower level, a separate section up a few stairs which gives the feel of a more-private space, and outdoor seating through the backdoor. We used most of the upstairs section for our event. We were able to walk around the area freely and comfortably chat / mingle with our guests. For our event, we had the Basic Menu, which included shared plates of Bruschetta to start, then Margherita Pizza, Chicken Parmesan, Sausage and Peppers, Marinara Pasta, salad, and cannoli dessert to end. Over priced and not worth the hype! Served warm water in a carafe that was left on the table, I did ask for a cup of ice but never received it. My husband ordered the crab cakes as the waitress took the order she asked "what would you like for your side" and listed a few choices. My husband said garlic fingerling potatoes, we were absolutely gobsmacked when we saw that we were charged $7.50 for the potatoes that were over seasoned with garlic and parmesan cheese!! The waitress absolutely made it sound like choices for the $22 order for 2 crab cakes!!! It was extremely warm inside the had portable standing fans circulating warm air, it felt like no one cared about anything. We started off sharing the fried calamari, I asked for a bit more tartar sauce, when I finally received it, it was served in a small shot glass. When I received the check there was an extra charge for *Sauce $1.50!!! We travel and eat out regularly, I NEVER have been charged for a bit more for a sauce. It took 68 minutes for a Caesar salad with anchovies and an order of crab cakes to arrive at our table. There was absolutely NO Presentation for the food! The toilet in the women's bathroom didn't seem to be working properly. Overall it's certainly not a restaurant worth repeating as I wish I stayed home and saved myself $85!! We have the same wait staff person every time, and she knows us, our likes and dislikes, and we never "wait" for anything. She knows who she is. And the other thing of course, is the food. Your greeted first by a smiling face and good smells. You notice the atmosphere is cheery and fun. It got busy quickly, but the waitresses were quick and skilled. They were on top of our needs with efficiency and not hoovering. The kids meals came out first, then the adults. My martini was one of the best I've had recently (bars included). Tremendous disappointment for a place that I really expected more out of from all the reviews that I've read over the past few years. Always wanted to try the place that took over where the Legendary Rizzo's Pizza stood!!! My Sister in Law made reservations over a month ago for her parent's anniversary dinner, as she frequents TreVi often with her husband and has always raved about the food and quality of it. Everything "made to order". We had a 6:30pm reservation for 10 and we were seated closer to 7pm and waited about an hour to get some bread and water. SERIOUSLY!!!! Should have been first sign things were gonna go downhill fast... Thank God ,that it was a BYOB, or we never would have been able to get any good drinks ordered. NO JOKE!! The place was crowded, obviously on a Friday night, but we were told by our waitress when we were finally asked for our orders, to "get a few appetizers before ordering our entrees", because the "kitchen was very much backed up" (with takeout and some type of restaurant week causing the backups in the kitchen) and we would get them faster. So we did just that, and ordered our entrees as well at the same time to hopefully not have to wait for them too long after the apps... Didn't help. Waited about 45 minutes or so, for the appetizers to come out around 8:30 pm and dinner followed by about 9:15pm when 80% of the other tables were long gone. My wife didn't even get the meal that she ordered as they "had run out of the scallops" and the white sauce which they told her around 9pm. Left there after 10pm very disappointed in the whole night which SHOULD HAVE BEEN much better than what we experienced for our $400 bill. Place closes at 10pm. Again we were there at 6:30!!! With a reservation!!!! Embarrassing is a word I'm saying, would best describe our night. Mostly upset about that after 50 years of marriage and what was supposed to be a nice night out with all their children and their spouses, we got that kind of memory for what was supposed to be a very special anniversary dinner and celebration. Sadly the world is in a much different place these days and people just want to make excuses for why their experience wasn't met. Instead of trying to make the experience right from the moment you walk into their establishment. NEVER again will I go back to that place. I miss Rizzo's Pizza now more than ever, as I've never had a dine out experience like that before... well maybe only at Horsham Outback. Sincerely wish this could have been a much different review. We hosted a baby shower here and it was wonderful. The staff was amazing- friendly and organized. They even checked in about wait times between courses so we could have a good time to do games and open gifts. They let us decorate the space (just no tape on the walls) and id definitely recommend decorating. The food was really, really good and there was a ton of it for the price. We got the bruschetta (delish), calamari, Caesar salad, pizza, and chicken parm w spaghetti. The chicken parm was really flavorful and the chicken was not dry and really just perfect. Cute hole in the wall Italian restaurant. As many times as we've walked by it we finally decided to try it on my birthday. It was everything I expected from an Italian restaurant. The food was very reasonably priced. The servers were very nice and personal. The food was fresh and made with quality ingredients. We got there at 6 and left around 830pm. Could've definitely hung out longer but there was a store we wanted to check out before it closed. The atmosphere was very nice. I like how the servers didn't rush you to eat. Took my wife here for her Birthday along with 22 family and friends. Food was ok, however the service was terrible. Nobody knew what they were supposed to do. The woman I booked it through was advised that there would be 7 children whose menu choices were 17.00 and the adults were 39.00. Trevi really hit the sweet spot for me. I didn't have any particular expectations, but this is now my favorite local restaurant! We arrived without a reservation and were able to park right in front for free. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait but it wasn't as long as that. It is perhaps on the informal side of fine dining but it was perfect for an impromtu night out without much fuss on our part. The staff were very friendly and relaxed, the decor also relaxed but charming in an Italian-American sort of way, reminded of my favorite old italian restaurants in S Philly. The menu is a great balance of solid inexpensive fair and more polished dishes. I went with one of my favorites - mussels in marinara as an appetizer - and it was very fresh and tasty, really great! My entre was chicken Siciliano and it was fantastic - I've had something similar that was not as good at another (expensive!) local restaurant that I will not name... I should also note that I have difficulty in restaurants being too loud, and Trevi was much better than most restaurants I have been in over the last few years I will return! read more

We had a reservation and were seated promptly at the reserved time. This was our first time eating at Trevi, and we are so glad we discovered it. The restaurant itself is adorable.....the lighting nice and soft, and attractive decorations on the walls. The very nice waitress explained that the meals were cooked to order, so it may take a little long. The wait gave us time to enjoy a cocktail ( was pleasantly surprised that Trevi is a BYOB and also serves their own wine and PA made liquor). Such a great option! The food was absolutely fantastic! The menu is extensive with lots of options. I had the eggplant parmigiana, and I have NEVER had any better! It was creatively served with breaded eggplant slices covered in sauce and cheese, and plated with pesto pasta with broccoli rabe. Exceptional!! I can't wait to have it again. I should add that I am an ova-lacto vegetarian and I was so happy to see that there were several vegetarian options. I want to go back and try that mushroom pizza! I also loved the fact that there is olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano and red pepper flakes on the table. Therefore, I was able to create my own seasoned olive oil in which to dip my bread. Food: Table bread: it was fine, would recommend warming it up Fettuccini Alfredo: I love garlic love, am the person that puts 10 cloves in when a recipe calls for one. With that being said this unfortunately had a strong raw garlic flavor and you missed out in the creamy goodness that should be fettuccine Alfredo. Pasta was cooked well and it came out very hot which I appreciated. Meatballs: the gravy was delicious. The meatballs were ok. Fried calamari: spicy gravy was good. Crispy. But on the chewy side but I thought the breading was good. Lots of tentacles if that's your thing Also got a pizza - the sausage and long hot one. We ended up taking it to go as everything sort of came randomly. My husband said it was ok reheated. I would recommend making reservations as it is a very busy local place. I think if you're not Italian this food would be good. Very reasonably priced. Coming from a very Italian family this was kind of a bummer for me. If you're a wino, bring your own. With restrictions due to COVID-19, TreVi is offering contactless pick-up like some other restaurants. According to their sign out front, they are also offering free delivery right now as well. I decided to order from them just based off of reviews I found online. I wanted to try some place new - in part because quarantine doesn't offer a lot of options for excitement, but luckily trying new food is still an option :) I appreciated their menu options - especially their different Gnocchi choices. I ended up deciding on the Chicken Marsala and Rosa Gnocchi which were both pretty tasty. The portion size was good - I had some leftover for the following day even. I can't speak all that much to the service, other than I did call because I didn't receive a confirmation text for my order (I ordered online), so I just wanted to be sure they received it.
