I am the hospitality person tasked with feeding performers and volunteers at five events a year…read more With dietary restrictions and individual likes and dislikes, this can be a challenge. I started by checking with several Redmond-area restaurants, posting on social media, and searching Yelp! for catering services. In the process I found All Elements Catering. Karen Fry has been extremely helpful. She walked me through her impressive menu and guided me to foods that have received high praise from the event staff. The food has been delivered (a big plus for me) hot and on time to the venue. The packaging has made the after meal clean up very easy. I was initially put off by the cost; however, after doing some arithmetic, I realized that the entire service cost about the same as taking the performers and staff to a restaurant. Well worth the convenience of serving everyone at the venue. If you need high quality catering, I highly recommend All Elements Catering, Bend OR.

They ordered the holiday meal for six, example menus linked here https://bendcatering.com/catering/holidays/, had someone pick it up for them the afternoon of the 23rd and when the meal was served on Christmas day it amply fed not only the six people planned but there was ample amount to feed three more who dropped in. Leftovers for the next day too. Everyone enjoyed every item from ham and turkey through sides and pies ordered (add on) for dessert. Cody's Country Catering (the Yelp header says Country Catering but Cody's has been part of the name for as long as I remember), also does weddings, family reunions, business meetings and other events and has luncheon menus in addition to dinner fare. Family meal dinners in serving sizes as small as for four people are also available to pick up on Fridays. Or were so maybe still are with pre-order by phone. I went to a wedding this weekend and I have to say it was one of the worst meals I ever had. I…read morecouldn't even eat it. I threw it away. I've been in the restaurant business for years and do my own catering, and I felt embarrassed for the host and I'm sure they spent a good amount of money to have this. There was an appetizer of barbecue tips which was OK a little fatty pieces not trim well smothered in barbecue sauce served with guac and salsa. Later when they were putting this stuff away, they were putting the chips back in the bag with no gloves on, how unsanitary All I can think of is they were going to use the chips again otherwise they would've thrown them away after somebody touched them with their hands very disgusting not even allowed in the food business. The salad seemed like package, chopped up lettuce lot of iceberg with there small bowls of dressing. Nothing really special added no tomato, cucumbers, olives, anything. Garlic bread was served in foil wrap very greasy . lukewarm barbecue chicken no sauce on it had to add it on the side sauce was cold , then the topper was some sort of cut of beef maybe a London broil, but it either was cut on the wrong grain. It was about a half inch thick it was cooked medium to medium rare, . But it was the toughest piece of meat. I was trying to cut it, and the fork broke and the knife broke The person next to me couldn't cut it either. they were saying I should. I pick it up with my hand naw it. I would be embarrassed if I was the catering company putting out this kind of food. If you're gonna put that cut of meat out, keep it whole have someone there carving it. Cutting thin slice it on the right grain so that people can eat it.The macaroni and cheese was like glorified Velveeta cheese flat in flavor they served it with a big soup scoop instead of a a normal serving spoon it all lopped up into the spoon had to tap it against the table to get it out. No seasoning very disappointing. The Server at one point seemed to be very mad cleaning up. She was rushing and pounding things against the table one of the guest said that someone should go over to her and tell her to cool it because it was very distracting. Very embarrassing representation of a company. Feel bad for the bride and groom that had to pay for this. . A writing this because sometimes owners don't see what direction their business is going in and how their staff represent them. So I hope you take this with consideration of the honest feedback. I'm giving . You need to regroup and review what you're serving.

No loud music, at least not at 5-5:30ish both times we were there. Patio seems inviting. Better than Pine Tavern's. Lower, riverside lawn is limited; seems like it's more for children. However, though a young man came by to look at our empty trays, never attempted to take them. That's why I'm unsure. The food was less than satisfactory. I got fish and chips. The bay shrimp roll looked pretty good, came with kettle chips for $21 (like I said, overpriced). The ambiance was nice. They don't have basically ANY indoor seating, so I hope they thought about that for winter. The scenery is very pretty overlooking the river. It's nestled between Pine Tavern and BBC. Chef Dom guided me through a process that initially felt overwhelming--deciding what to serve for a group ranging from 5 to 90 years old. He provided a thoughtful questionnaire that helped us narrow down options that would work for our family, considering not just the food but also the best serving style. On the day of the event, Chef Brian served a remarkable multi-course Thai meal that left everyone raving. But more than the food, what stood out was the care taken to ensure our family time wasn't overshadowed by kitchen activities. If there was ever a question, Chef Brian would discretely check with me and then quietly continue his work. When presenting each dish, they shared what we were eating and were eager to answer any questions. They kept the space clean and organized as they worked, and when it was time for my father's speech, all kitchen activities paused so we could fully appreciate the moment. I wouldn't hesitate to hire The Grain Collective again for any future private dining experience.
