These mechanics are true angels and have a sense of compassion that almost no mechanics have. They had a two day waiting list and they still helped me in a very very timely manner after I explained my situation and how I had to get back to Seattle by the same day. I would urge everyone to give this place a shot if you ever need anything done to your car or if you need a really good used car :-)

I bought my mini cooper from this business and the experience was great! I subsequently took my car into Bill every time and thought he was honest and had integrity. As single woman, I had other mechanics present as untrustworthy so it was wonderful find an honest dealership. NOPE! My mini cooper is now almost destroyed because of their shoddy work and I'm out thousands of dollars and I've had the run around. Below is part of the complaint I've made to both the BBB and Attorney Generals Office. We are waiting on a response from the business to determine if small claims court is next to recoup our losses. He installed after market parts in my car repeatedly with repairs lasting barely two years. THERE IS A PATTERN HERE OF CHEAP PARTS, NO ACCOUNTABILITY, MYSTERY CHARGES AND ZERO TRANSPARENCY. HE WILL PUT IN CHEAP AFTER MARKET PARTS THAT WILL CRAP OUT IN ABOUT TWO YEARS AND DESTROY YOUR ENGINE. BELOW IS PART OF THE LEGAL FILINGS WITH BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE : I am writing to formally demand immediate resolution regarding the defective turbo installation and associated damages to my vehicle, which directly stem from your shop's substandard workmanship and repeated use of faulty parts. This is not the first time I have been left to bear the financial and emotional burden of your shop's negligence, and I will not tolerate this pattern any longer. The Facts Defective Turbo Installation and Catastrophic Damage: The turbo installed in my vehicle has suffered a catastrophic failure in just over two years, despite the fact that I rarely drive my car. The failure has caused 3 liters of oil to pour into the catalytic converter and seep into the tubing, leaving my vehicle in a disastrous state and requiring extensive corrective work. History of Shoddy Workmanship and Defective Parts: You replaced the valve cover, but that repair barely lasted two years before the part failed. Despite the warranty, I was forced to cover out-of-pocket expenses that should have been fully covered. Now, the turbo you selected and installed--a critical component--has proven equally unreliable, further demonstrating a troubling trend of subpar repairs. Lack of Transparency: Despite my repeated requests, you have failed to provide a receipt or clear documentation for the turbo's cost. The only receipt you've shown is for $298 for mounting pieces, leaving $702 unaccounted for in the $1,000 charged. Your refusal to provide basic documentation raises serious questions about transparency and accountability. Negligence in Professional Standards: Your shop's continued reliance on parts that do not meet quality standards, coupled with inadequate accountability for failures, has cost me time, money, and trust. You've stated in the past that you operate with integrity and "family values." Yet, this is the second time I've had to deal with defective parts from your shop, and the financial and emotional toll is staggering. You've acknowledged the turbo failure may be covered under warranty, but even so, this situation highlights the systemic issues with your choice of parts and service quality.

My review of; Valvoline Instant Oil Change - 090065 4/30/2023…read more 2117 North Argonne Road, Spokane Valley, WA While many may think negatively of these quick oil change businesses, this review might change your mind. I was out of town visiting family when I noticed I was close to due on my oil change on my 2014 Dodge Charger Pursuit RWD. I take almost religious care of my vehicle's maintenance. So, I pulled in to have the Oil and filter changed. They also suggested I do a fluid change on my transmission, (Which doing mental calculations, I knew it was also close) so I approved them to change the fluid. On the drive home I noticed that my car was shifting a little differently, but I figured it was the car's computer adjusting to the new fluid. The next day I drove to work and it was worse. I then drove home and it was much worse (Not shifting properly at all, slipping, no overdrive unless I shifted it into neutral and then back into Drive). Needless to say, I was unhappy to say the least. I contacted Valvoline Instant Oil Change Facebook page and left a message about what my "baby" was doing and how upset I was. (A new transmission would cost around $3500.00 plus labor to install). They replied back the next morning (Saturday) and were very sorry for what had happened and suggested I contact the shop I was at, which I did on my way to work, in my wife's 2016 Charger pursuit. I spoke with Josh, the manager of the location and discussed the problems I was having and how unhappy I was. He was very apologetic and reviewed all the cameras and said everything looked like it was done correctly but would come to my house to find out what was wrong. It should be noted again, I was out of town when I had the oil/fluid change done. I informed him where I live and he said he would call when he was headed my way (120 Miles away). I gave him my wife's phone number to coordinate everything as I was at work and would not be in the area. He called and let her know he was on the way. He arrived and worked on the issues. He spent approximately 2 to 3 hours at my house to fix the problems. Per Josh, "I have worked for Valvoline for 3 plus years, and by what you described I thought I knew what the issue was as I have seen it maybe 5 times before". My wife and Josh test drove the car after he had worked on it. They both believed the problem was solved but wanted me to drive the car to make sure it was right. I got home from a long day at work and didn't want to even try it as I figured, no it won't be right and now I have a battle to get it fixed. The next day, I drove it. I put it through its paces and it was 100%. My baby is back and I couldn't be happier. No shutter, no missed gears, no slipping, Transmission is running 20 degrees cooler than it was (If you know anything about automatic transmissions, heat kills). I willfully give a 6 out of 5-star rating for Valvoline Instant Oil Change, 2117 North Argonne Road, Spokane Valley, Washington. To have a manager drive 120 miles one way on a Saturday to address the issues with a customer's vehicle is something rarely seen anymore. I commend, Joshua on his knowledge and customer service. This is a trait rarely seen anymore and is a credit and a spokesman to true professionalism in running a business that takes care of their customers. I would not hesitate taking any of my vehicles to that shop and have also informed my family and friends to use that shop. Lastly, I would also suggest the owner/franchise owner to recognize Josh for his dedication to doing a job well done and going the extra 120 miles to make sure the customer is taken care of. It only happened after I got a oil change through them so I'm not sure what they did to it or if something may have happened on its own but the guy was very rude and dismissive either way. I will never go back there and would rather pay a little extra for kind service of people who actually know what they are doing!
