Tim has been cutting my hair for year and I've loved the long layered cut I was getting. I wanted to go shorter in the back with lots of layers, drastically angled long in the front with a shag feel. What I got was a bob! A freaking Karen bob! It's awful! I was completely upfront but very kind about that it was all wrong and I hated it. Tim seems to get annoyed and tried to explain why the cut I wanted wouldn't work?! Are you kidding me?!? If that were true (and I know it's not) he should've told me before BUTCHERING MY HAIR! He had no apology at all, hardly seems to care, and told me I wouldn't have like what I wanted anyway!?! WTF?! He worked with me with hot tool for a few minutes so I wasn't balling out of the salon. He offered me a laughable $11 discount. after speaking to the manager Alicia I was told they were to refund me the service but I am no longer ALLOWED to book again?! So my embarrassing awful haircut isn't punishment enough, she felt the need to tell me this- trust me I was never going to go there again! It's one thing to mess up someone's hair it's a whole other thing to make BS excuses then punish the woman who speaks up. I hope it grows back fast, and I learned my lesson, no more Haircuttery! Oh yeah- during all this I found out the company was bought and they no longer honor their 'smile back' program (free service when they mess up this bad). If there is no guarantee then definitely shouldn't be taking a chance on these amateurs.

The pedicure began nicely but the person doing it for me had issues with communicating... I asked for a colour and it seemed they were out of it in regular polish. No one explained this to me and instead just replaced it with something else with no notifcation.... I specifically asked before continuing with my manicure if the shop had silver heart gems to achieve a look I showed in a photo. I was given an okay. When it came time I was told no by another person (I believe it was amber who I requested originally in my appt but did not get) and then tried to get me to accept a drawn heart even tho that is not what I wanted... after trying to make me accept painted heart and the woman continually scolded the man who was orignally working on me (clearly someone new? Or inexperienced?) Which made me pretty uncomfortable in its own right... they finally retrieved their various gems and such to show me... I settled because I was at the point i had no choice but to take it or leave with nothing... I dont even feel.happy taking photos of my nails... theyre a mess... paint on my skin... uneven cut... and I was knicked and caused bleeding on 3 different fingers in the process... you can see it on 2 of the 3. The 3rd is covered by the polish that was painted onto my skin and it is hurting me trying to peel it off... This cost $120. Ive been to many nail salon in the last decade and this was truly the most disappointing experience... I really hoped I was finding somewhere new and close...

I got some pictures of what I was aiming for and yelped the highest rated hair salon near me and found 1535 Hair Salon. I saw Gerrie (Beatrice) celebrated twice so I requested her. She was able to fit me in the same day! I emphasized that I wanted the front of my hair long and the back short. Gerrie listened to me and said we would start with the back and would check in as we went to see if I wanted shorter. It was great that she was listening and would work with me! Gerrie did have quite a few interruptions as people talked to her, a popular lady. Gerrie talked nonstop and told me stories about her friends. I saw Gerrie wrapping my hair around so my Bob would be symmetrical. For the most part it was except the very front. Which I can fix later if it still bothers me. My hair looks much better then it did all in all. Thank you!

It is the most natural spray tan I have ever seen and always get compliments on my tan when I go there. I can usually tell when someone has a fake than but the tans here look so natural. I booked my appointment for 4/24 at 6:30pm. It took me 32 minutes to get here, including finding parking. I walked to the door and realized no one was at the location. I knocked, and called several times, NO Answer!!! After the fifth call, I finally got a text message. The message basically stated that she had an emergency and could not do my appointment. I did not receive a phone call or a text message telling me this prior to getting to the business. Then you text me instead of answering the phone. Very unprofessional!!! I expressed that no one even contacted me before coming here. I would love not to have driven here and burn gas, because gas is not cheap!!! She said that she did NOT have my number saved and could not reach me, but I made the appointment just the day prior and she asked me for my number so whose fault is that? I honestly think she messed up, and got her days mixed up when she booked my appointment, because on her door the hours of operation for today are from 10 AM to 5 PM, remind you she made my appointment for 630pm. I also noticed that any other day she usually opens till 8 o'clock so I believe she just blatantly forgot about me based on this..... The studio is one door down from Dangerously Delicious Pies on the Square, so street parking is usually not an issue. It is on the third floor of the building and I don't think there is an elevator, so beware of that if stairs are a problem. I also got an amazing deal through their website, which had a half-off deal if you pre-paid. I believe they also do Groupons sometimes, so look out for deals!
