A decent Hair Cuttery. I've been here a couple times and have over good experiences. I'm always greeted when I walk in and staff are friendly. I had an appointment this recent visit and only waited a couple mins before I was taken to the back to get my hair washed. The worst haircut of my forty years of life! Wow! Completely embarrassing (I got what I paid for people say) I always liked Haircuttery despite its stigma, but they got me. Tim has been cutting my hair for year and I've loved the long layered cut I was getting. I wanted to go shorter in the back with lots of layers, drastically angled long in the front with a shag feel. What I got was a bob! A freaking Karen bob! It's awful! I was completely upfront but very kind about that it was all wrong and I hated it. Tim seems to get annoyed and tried to explain why the cut I wanted wouldn't work?! Are you kidding me?!? If that were true (and I know it's not) he should've told me before BUTCHERING MY HAIR! He had no apology at all, hardly seems to care, and told me I wouldn't have like what I wanted anyway!?! WTF?! He worked with me with hot tool for a few minutes so I wasn't balling out of the salon. He offered me a laughable $11 discount. after speaking to the manager Alicia I was told they were to refund me the service but I am no longer ALLOWED to book again?! So my embarrassing awful haircut isn't punishment enough, she felt the need to tell me this- trust me I was never going to go there again! It's one thing to mess up someone's hair it's a whole other thing to make BS excuses then punish the woman who speaks up. I hope it grows back fast, and I learned my lesson, no more Haircuttery! Oh yeah- during all this I found out the company was bought and they no longer honor their 'smile back' program (free service when they mess up this bad). If there is no guarantee then definitely shouldn't be taking a chance on these amateurs. read more

I went for a bang trim and the black-haired lady there was very nice to me, she explained how to style my bangs which helped me a lot because i'm a newbie when it comes to hair. Horrible!!! The lady who cut my daughter's hair did a f****d up job. When someone says don't cut their hair past a certain length you listen not take it upon yourself to do whatever you want. The faded part of her hair looks like shit. This whole experience was terrible and I will not be letting my child get her hair cut here anymore. This place was horrible I booked a appointment (perm) for my daughter And they said over the phone that she was able to Get one and gave me a price When we showed up they said that she did not "Look" old enough and hurt her emotionally It was by fare the worst experience ever And the stylist that was supposed to be doing her hair said she was not comfortable doing her Hair because she looked to young Then all the sudden they cancelled my daughters Appointment and told us that they could no longer Do the service I was shocked and left immediately I would never go here again read more

It's sad when you can't find a place to cut your hair right. I went here many times which was my own fault. I gave them many chances only to constantly get the wrong hair cuts. Mind you, this was me trying at least different hair stylists to no avail. You either end up with no consistency or you get a bad hair cut period. I gave them too many chances to come out disappointed. I'm officially done after this time. I gave the hair stylist a great description as well as a picture of what I wanted. I had a woman with blond white ish hair cut my hair she was kind and all but the ends of my hair are choppy do not look good and In the back it's not straight there are lots of parts longer then others it's so uneven in the back and I asked her to start a few inches longer so I could see if I could like it and she made it way to short I'm very disappointed and my hair takes so long to grow I will never be going back there unless I'm gonna go to get it fixed . over all just a terrible cut . read more

Ive only been to this location once as far as I remember, but I know a few people who work here from high school. If you want the art magnet at Patapsco High School to do your hair (you absolutely do) then go to this location. My oldest son and I went to get our hair done Saturday. We had a standing appointment with Sheila at 2:00 and Mason went first. Ive never seen a more beautiful Mohawk with lightening bolts on the side (she's great with razor designs). Sheila was super sweet with my son, better than any Cartoon Cuts and the haircut was cheaper. Next she did a shape up and trim on mine. She cut it dry, which I love, and was quick and skilled. Our hair looks great and it was only $32 in the end. Sheila and Tim are the ones to look for and youll be happy. read more

I was informed it would only be a few minutes and ended up being closer to an hour. 5 stylists were working but as the finished one by one the went to hide on the back. Eventually only one person was left cutting hair and we had to wait for her to finish before she took the next client. As a new customer entered she even yelled to the back of the salon "Is anyone else working here?". The only stylist who was still on the floor yelled to the back several times there were two haircuts waiting but no one emerged. Only when a woman who had an appointment began to loudly complain did someone else emerge to tell her the person she had an appointment with must have stepped out but would be back shortly. Apparently none of the other stylists could be troubled to leave the break room. My own stylist also never offered to shampoo my hair (despite it being included in the price). I thought of mentioning to her, but by this point I was done. Think I will try Sports Cuts next time... read more

i went here once to get my hair cut and it was nowhere near even. i had long chunks sticking out from the sides and back. i had to go back and get it cut even shorter by a different stylist. luckily after going to the different stylist my hair was even, but way shorter than i wanted it to be. read more

Always fast and friendly super cheap and the staff is skilled for people of all ages. Clean place well managed.

I do not even know why I ever keep going back to this place and giving them a chance. Everytime I go there it's a disaster with my hair they don't listen to what I'm asking them to do they cut it too short or not short enough I feel like when you pay an additional amount to have your hair straightened with a flat iron then your hair should be straight and there should be no curl left to it but apparently that is not the case when the people working there have a different idea of what straight means read more

Love this location! Staff is always super friendly and professional. Sharon does a great job on my hair every time. I had to get my hair done at the last minute and Sharon was off. Tim squeezed me into his schedule at the last minute. I was still happy with my hair even though it wasn't my normal stylist. They always recommend worthwhile products too. read more

Warning - Red Alert ! Don't endanger your hair. Just had hair washed, blow dried and curled -It is burned so bad from the scalp down from the girl curling it with the straight iron set to high- held on way to long and twisted and pulled down- 2 week later I am unable to comb it- Thought the smell may have been all the hair spray she loaded on my hair - but no! It is burnt frizzled and fried beyond repair, Left my number and went in to talk to the Manager - No returned calls- It must have been bring your child to work day - The stylist spent more time with her kid. 2 hours later and burnt hair - I am done - well done. - Poor management -They don't care about hair- they should be shut down. DO NOT GO HERE! I used to have good experiences here with a particular stylist but he hasn't been there in a while. I stopped in yesterday and got my hair cut and eyebrows waxed and not only did Wendy wax off literally half my eyebrow so it was bald, she didn't say a word and hid it with my hair so I didn't see it until I got in my car. Therefore I tipped her and bought hair products. I went back in and showed the manager and they would only refund the 8.00, not the whole 60.00 INCLUDING THIS SHADY LYING INCOMPETENT IDIOTS TIP. Absolutely ridiculous. I had to go buy 40.00 worth of makeup at ulta and spend 30 minutes using it to hide this odors idiot's mistake. People make mistakes but you DO NOT LIE to a customer or try to hide it. You own up to it and make it right. Which WENDY did not do. Once that was made known, I should have been given back my whole 60.00 immediately, including HER TIP. WENDY never even apologized, only the manager did but she wouldn't give me all my money back and she let WENDY keep my tip. Very angry and been telling everyone, DO NOT GO HERE EVER. read more

Absolutely the worst salon experience I have EVER had. I walked in to get a full foil with my children who were on there best behavior and MARTIN the stylist acted immediately ANNOYED and was rude to my kids. He did a HORRIBLE consultation and when I showed him photos of what I liked he was annoyed that he had to go mix more color. I walked out with my kids and told the girl he had a bad attitude and I didn't want him to do my hair.
