Do not buy product from this establishment. They sent me all previously used, or returned product and tried to pass it off as new. I don't know what kind of scam this place is trying to run but it's disgusting. As you can see in the photos the products have been used and there is even hair and debris in some of them. The powders were all empty, and the jars all had chunks missing out of them. When I reached out to their store, they tried to gaslight me into thinking I didn't know the powders would be light. I even sent photos to their email to which they just responded that they were going to send a return label. No offer to re-send new product, nothing. I've never received such poor service from a store. How bad does an establishment have to be to allow their employees (intentional or not) to pack returned/used items to fulfill an order. This whole situation is so bizarre. Never again. read more

Great service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I'm so happy that I've found my new barber.

This barbershop is fantastic. Manny cuts my partner and I's hair and he is very skilled at his craft. This seems like a predominantly Spanish speaking shop which is no big deal. All are welcome!! read more

The barber gave me his input on what he thought would look the best, took time with the skin fade, and was not too long being there and not too short in the chair. read more

Reviews don't lie. Excellent haircut. Romy takes his time and built a great shop. Atmosphere is good, quaint. Book appointment through Booksy app. I drive 30 miles one-way to come here. That says it all. Romy's also added Prisy who's an excellent stylist and barber. The barbershop is clean and they simply get it done. read more

This is the best haircut I've gotten in a very long time. The owner, Romy, is precise and doesn't rush. I appreciate how often he asks for feedback throughout the haircut! This barbershop also has unbeatable prices! Which makes a big difference during COVID budgeting. I will not go anywhere but here for as long as I'm in Towson or Baltimore. Romy is worth the drive! read more

Worst haircut ever. Had cuts here before they were fine. But the guy i didn't think understood, he cut most of my hair and I said trim. He also had line cut or something where the mask usually is and the cut wasn't even. Saw similar reviews probably same guy. He also didn't even cut my side burns much. I won't be back. read more

This place is the best, best haircut I've gotten in awhile, they really take their time.

It was a very pleasant experience. Romy did a great hair cut, I like it. I can't recommend Elesmod barber shop enough, definitely I will be back & Romy my new barber. read more

Elesmod Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Towson, Maryland

I was just here yesterday and I was blown away. This place is phenomenal. I work nearby and was looking for a new barber and decided to check yelp to see what was nearby. I checked out their website and decided to schedule an appointment for a beard and haircut. Yancy spent an hour cutting my hair and beard. Not only that, they give you this amazing massage and hot towel treatment if you go with the beard and haircut. All that for only $25. Best haircut I've ever had and incredible value. I'll be back again and again. This is a high-end experience for a more than reasonable price. The place is small, so definitely make an appointment. If you end up having a couple people in front of you, you may end up having to wait for a long time. Thankfully, I was able to set an appointment so I didn't have to wait at all. read more

Brought my 4 year old son here for a haircut and he had quite a mop on his head. His haircut had been butchered before so I sought out a place with great reviews. I showed the barber Yansi a stock photo of a haircut I liked for him, and she executed it perfectly in under 20 minutes. Very pleased with the results, he looks great. I'll bring him back for all his haircuts in the future. read more

I was looking for a barbar shop to give my daughter at tapper and to get a lining (after being butchered at a "high-end" shop) and found this shop hidden on the back of what look like an office building. I got there right when it opened at 9am hoping 1. they accepted walk-ins and 2 . they wasn't typical Saturday morning crowded. I was pleased that they both accepted us and was free cut after only one person. The receptionist was pleasant as well as the two female barbars Priscilla and other lady I can't remember name. Mixed music going on, clean shop (sweeping after each cut), modern. To be honest I was a bit nervous that, as an African American male, I'm getting a cut in a non-African American shop and by a woman (I simply never had a woman cut my hair, it's just not common in AA shops). My daughter 16 was up first and she liked her hair cut... and she's very hard to please. Teens. Priscilla gave me a lining the was sharp as a tack all the while giving great customer service. As checkout, they accept credit card, I was surprised at how reasonably price they we're and gave a great tip. I will be returning and would recommend them to anyone looking for a cut. read more

Overall it was an OK experience. Maybe my standards were too high from my barber back home. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I got into the car and noticed a big line in my fade on both sides. Very disappointed considered i dropped 23$. I had to go home and blend it out myself. read more

This place is awesome, nice clean and the Barber is really gifted I love getting undercuts designs and he really went out for me, not manny barbers get to touch my hair but I am really happy with the results. read more

Elesmod Barber Shop - Great undercut - Barbers Near Me - Towson, Maryland

I've been looking for a good barber for months since moving to the local area - and I've finally found my home. Great service, easy to book an appointment and my son and I will be regulars for now on. read more

Alright, so I've been looking for a barber north of Baltimore for almost 2 years now, and I recently moved to Towson, where I stumbled upon Elesmod's. I couldn't have been happier with the place and the result. I walked in and had to wait a little over an hour, which I was slightly annoyed with at first, but then realized that hat was the mark of a good Barber and my annoyance quickly faded. Once I was able to sit in the chair he was very friendly and extremely detail oriented. My haircut was amazing, but what really made my visit was the hot towel shave that I received. Honestly, that is normally how I determine if I'll be coming back to a barber shop - and I will be. It was the best shave I've had in a long time. I can't recommend Elesmod enough, I'll definitely be back and I think I found my new barber. read more

Need a haircut and was in the area of Loyola. Checked out barbers near me and this place popped up with 5 stars. When I arrived in downtown Towson where they are I discovered that there isn't any unpaid parking spots. While initially bummed, I decided to give them a try and they do indeed deserve 5 stars for being a most excellent shop. I was told where the nearby free parking was (not from the area). More importantly was the excellent hair cut I recurved from Spencer, a consummate barber for gents. They also do straight razor full on shaves with the hot towel. Definitely worth the trip even if you have to pay a bit to park nearby! read more

Absolute hack job. "Take a little off" (of a 5 month beard) apparently meant to leave only 1/2" and I cannot even begin to describe how choppy the actual cut itself was other than to say that my moustache simultaneously had 1/4" hairs and 1"+ hairs. Uneven neck line and a terrible part placement (big deal given the style). Just spent 30 minutes evening out my own beard (had some beard hair still as long as 2" on my cheeks, which didn't jive well with the short whiskers on my chin) and am now headed in for my second haircut of the day. Obviously not to the same place. Never again. read more

This barber shop has become my favorite place to get a cut and beard trim in the Baltimore area. One of the few places around here that can do facial hair well. Everyone is friendly over there. If you have facial hair that needs grooming, go to Romi. I promise you that you will be very pleased with the way you look. read more

I went to this shop after the wait was too long at another place. It was a comfortable atmosphere and it felt great to see the stylists were having fun. My stylist was excellent, and she politely suggested I not whack off my mess of a head. All the stylists seem to be technicians. I will return read more

Yansi gave me honestly the best haircut I've ever had! Exactly what I asked for, on time and in and out in 30 minutes. I recently moved to the area and saw they had high ratings and lots of good pics on here. Highly recommend giving them your business, you won't be disappointed. read more

This place is great. It's the only barber I go to in Baltimore and literally the only reason I go Towson ever. Despite its questionable location, they do a fantastic job with my hair cut every time. The staff are all very kind and the music is always on point. read more

We finally found a new place to get styled. Romy styled both my son and I and we couldn't be more pleased. We will be back!

Took me many months, but I finally found a place where I will be getting my haircuts. Romy did a tremendous job. I went from having a mop of unruly hair to a clean, stylish look. He took his time cutting my hair. He was precise, which is why my cut is on point. Plus, the music sounded great inside the shop. ¡Gracias Romy! Nos vemos pronto. read more

I was a little weary at initial approach of this barber shop because it's a very odd location of Towson, but DO NOT turn this place down. Rome is an amazing stylist and barber and will make sure you have the perfect cut. I've had about 4-5 different haircuts from Romy and each time I am more pleased than the last. If you want a barber who pays acute attention to detail and will not finish your hair until it's 100% perfect, attend this shop. You won't be disappointed. read more

ROMY DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. I figured this out AFTER I pointed to the front of my head and asked him NOT to make the hair too short. When he lopped a bunch of it off, I pointed again and said that I had wanted him to leave it longer. He was about to cut it AGAIN, and that's when I realized he wasn't understanding a word I said. I get that he's an immigrant and English isn't his first language, but you'd THINK that someone working as a BARBER in the US would understand words related to cutting hair, right? NOPE. And he just pretended to understand me- but why?? Why didn't he try to clarify what I was saying? Before I figured out that there was a language barrier, he had already made the rest of my hair uneven. I paid for the haircut and then went to ANOTHER barber nearby to have them fix what they could, but of course they couldn't fix the the chopped off hair. Totally ruined my hairstyle. I am FUMING. It goes without saying that I am NEVER setting foot in that shop ever again. read more

Decided to drive 30min from home to try this place because I didn't like the barber shops nearby and I didn't want to go to Supercuts. I got a haircut and beard trim by Romy who did an excellent job. I was a little worried that he might rush me since I was a walk-in and it seemed like he had an appointment coming up but he still took his time and gave me exactly what I wanted. I will be making future appointments with him for sure. The price was reasonable as well. Haircut + beard trim came to $25. Something to note if it's your first time visiting is that they do accept credit card payments but tips must be in cash. Good thing I had cash on me because Romy deserved a good tip. read more

I was looking for a barber that was precise and detailed and Romy was that and more. First, the shop was clean and cozy. It was easy to find and his shop had that hip-hop feel but mixed in with that old time Italian barber feel (but Dominican). His fade was excellent and sharp. But what was more impressive was when he laid the chair back and got a hot towel and shaped up my beard like no barber has ever done. It was amazing... and he made my beard just shine. What an amazing hair cut and just a great experience overall. read more

First met Romy at another shop he started at and he's ALWAYS on point no matter what cut or style I've had. I can't personally speak on the other barbers but I've witnessed how they cut and they always have the customer leaving looking sharp. Great barbershop! read more

Best haircut I have gotten in a long time. Attention to detail, precision and well executed. I have finally found a spot that is on the cheaper side of barbers and also delivers on results. Nothing beats the attention of a straight razor. read more

About the same as hair cuttery. Barber didn't understand changes to my hair despite a clear picture and multiple explanations

Excellent job! I came here because of the Yelp reviews. It's my first time getting a buzz cut done and Romy was my barber. I'm happy that I was able to just walk in and get helped right away, but that's only because I called to see if they were busy. The place was small but there was a decent flow of people in and out. Romy took his time with me and tweaked my design a little bit and it turned out awesome! read more

Elesmod Barber Shop - Done by Romy - Barbers Near Me - Towson, Maryland

Went here because it was the only barber that I could find that allowed an easy booking with the Booksy app in the area that did straight razor shaves. Looked at a few other barbers in DC that also did straight razor shaves, but this one seemed pretty affordable and some good artistry in the designs in the reviews. Also they showed my hairstyle/cut I have been working on for a while in their selections of popular styles. Went in expecting nothing less than exceptional, after seeing other reviews, and I WASN'T disappointed at all. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how Romy did my look I thought I wanted without me giving him any particulars, just told him to work his magic and he did. I'll be back in a couple weeks to keep this look looking fresh. read more

This place is fantastic! Great cut from Prisy, no wait time thanks to the booksy app, and a friendly relaxed atmosphere- what more do you need? I've been on the hunt for a new barber for quite some time, but I've been unsuccessful finding somewhere that met my criteria- takes appointments, friendly staff, and a great haircut. I tried this place on a whim after reading the yelp reviews and I was wowed. I went to the website and booked an appointment time for the same day. I arrived 15 minutes early and they were just finishing up the previous customer, so I waited maybe 5 minutes. When it was my turn, I showed Prisy a photo of the cut I wanted and got right to work. Prisy checked in throughout the cut, kept up with some friendly banter, and even suggested local places for lunch. As a bonus the shop is right around the corner from Cinemark. Make an appointment before or after a movie and be wowed. read more

Great haircut with attention to detail. They take their time to get it right. Will become my regular spot.

Well, the reviews don't lie, this place was fabulous! Made an online appointment and arrived in a timely fashion and was seen pretty much right away after he was finishing up with his current client. He took his time and was paying attention to detail. Romy was very friendly and the staff were as well. Next time I am back in the area visiting from NYC, I will be there for sure! read more

I went hear after hearing about it from a friend a few months ago and got an amazing haircut and beard work. It was honestly so impressive I thought it must have been a fluke and a reflection of the individual barber and not the place as a whole. However, I went back recently to get my haircut and beard done again and was put with a different barber with equally amazing results. Highly recommend. Very reasonable prices too- 28$ will get u a haircut, beard trim, warm towel and face massage. read more

I was looking for a quality stylist in the Towson / Hunt Valley area on a last minute basis since my usual stylist was unavailable. Booked a same day appointment with Romy based on reviews and I couldn't be happier with the cut. I could tell immediately that he knew his craft and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended. read more
