I've never had my hair colored, gone seven weeks with growth and searched for grays. Not sure what my stylist is doing, but it's magical. Length... hello! My hair has grown a significant amount since moving over. We don't trim each visit and I can feel how much healthier my hair is. All around, great experience. My hair hasn't been healthier. I changed nothing in regards to my at home routine. I wholly contribute all good hair things to the products and care during salon appointments. Staff are friendly. I have been seeing Caroline at Form Salon for 8+ years now and can not say enough great things about Caroline and the salon as a whole. She does an incredible job with highlights, cut and styling. I moved out of state and find myself making a long trek back to Towson to see Caroline over and over again! I have also seen Harmony and Lindsey when Caroline has been booked up and they both do great work and are super nice. Came in for a color, I asked for a golden blonde no ashy , -- well came out completely ashy. Did not blow dry hair because of COVID which I found ridiculous. On top of that they charged the same price without blowing drying my hair and it was winter. Extremely dissatisfied. read more

Going to a new salon is like going to the dentist for me, makes me nervous but needs to be done! This place is a gem! All staff were friendly. My stylist, Becky, was truly fabulous. So down to earth and made you feel instantly comfortable. I haven't had a good hair cut in years till I went to her. She layered my thick curly hair how it needed to be layered while also listening to what I wanted with my length. She doesn't hesitate and is very skilled. I can't wait to come back to her. should have known that a place that doesn't have a lot of reviews and they're all good was a hint this place wasn't good. Will never go back and won't refer to anyone. My experience with a stylist was horrible. I think her name was lauren. I asked for blonde highlights and I should have known that when she joked about dying her friend's hair ORANGE that wanted blonde highlights, that I should have left. Follow your instincts. I stayed and she messed my hair up the same way by making it ORANGE! Then when I called her she tried to say that's what I wanted! Blaming the customer. Who thinks ORANGE is blonde?! I had to go back and get her to apply MORE DYE which ruined my hair. I still see ORANGE underneath and my hair will never be the same! Go here if you want orange for your blonde highlights. Also, she was way too rough washing my hair after telling her not to. Be careful who does your hair. Should have gotten a refund because no one deserves to be paid for such a horrible job. Research your stylist. Also, super late when arriving for my appointment, so unprofessional. Be on time. read more

I gave this salon a try for the first time hoping the stylists' talents would match the attractive decor of the small salon. Sadly, I left the salon feeling disappointed. I felt the haircut (a simple trim and shape) I received was WAY overpriced for what it was, and I walked out uninspired to return in the future. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating, but the stylist I was given seemed inexperienced and lacked creativity. I will continue looking for a good salon with loads of talent. read more

I'm surprised that this is the first review for Form! This salon was opened by a group of very experienced stylists who had been at Studio 1612 together. The person I see there, Monica, is awesome, but this is a review for the whole salon. It's a small but really pretty spot, tucked away across the street from the mall, and next to Ukazoo Books. Everyone who works there is really nice, the parking is easy, the location is super convenient, and it's a great environment all around. I followed my stylist, Erika, from her previous salon and I must say, I like Form so much better. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and the vibe is very relaxed. The salon is bright and clean and full of good energy - it's a real pleasure to spend time there. Erika is wonderful. She's been cutting and coloring my hair for the last three years and I hope she always stays in the area. She is a skilled stylist and a great colorist - highlights, lowlights, she does it all and I've never been disappointed with the end result. I recently decided to go natural and let my silver grow in and she has been supportive, which I really appreciate. Extra tip: She did my hair and makeup for my wedding last year, and was very patient with me. I generally can't stand wearing much makeup beyond a coat of mascara and some lip gloss, but she knew how to apply a "full face" with a light touch so I looked and felt beautiful.
