There is a good sized parking lot in the back of the building so parking is never a problem here. There is a even a restroom here which I don't often see at banks and it is a great convenience to have. There's only 1 ATM in between the two sets of doors and I believe there was another one inside as well. I came half an hour before closing on a Friday with no appointment and there were no other customers. I got helped right away by a lady whose name I didn't catch but she was super kind and transferred me over to another friendly guy whose name I also didn't catch to help me close out an account. Actual closing of the account was fast and painless and there were no excessive questions about my reason for closing, which is always appreciated. I did get pitched for a new credit card since I have other cards with Chase but I expected something like that. The whole place/experience is very elevated. Everything looks nice and polished. Even the keyboards they were using were wireless and slim with computer monitors mounted on fancy arms. I'm in the area for family but if I lived here myself, I'd definitely come back. Would recommend paying this branch a visit if you need anything!

You can't add your card to your apple wallet, you can scan a check into the app. It's all so outdated. My account went overdrawn while working to change things over to a new bank and they charge you for the fees...makes sense. One day I checked and they charged me 6 times at once. So I call and I tell the very rude lady on the phone that I'm taking care of it and I have already switched the bill to my new account. I'm not sure why they keep trying to take it out of this account but in the meantime could you help me stop these fees from coming out. She said no as quick and rude as possible. I've had other banks before so I know that usually there is something they can do. But I guess not Quincy credit union. They suck, their customer service sucks, the app sucks. Don't use this bank!!!

Last Sunday my brother realized his checking account was affected by scammers. He was out $16,000 by a coin base scammer. His branch was closed on Sundays so he called Ed in the Hanover branch. My Rockland Trust debit card information was stolen and used by someone in another state to make a…read morepurchase of nearly $1,000.00 I was sent a text message from Rockland Trust on that day asking me if I made this purchase, to which I replied "NO", and the card was subsequently frozen and my account was given a provisional credit for that $1,000.00 fraudulent purchase. Fast forward 3 months later, and the provisional credit I had been given was then RESCINDED by Rockland Trust, and I was told they had been given "proof" by the merchant where the fraudulent transaction occurred that it was not fraudulent, despite the fact that the bank itself CONTACTED me that day when the purchase was made as they suspected it to be fraudulent. Now Rockland Trust is telling me there is "nothing more we can do", despite having already being able to provide me a credit for the fraudulent purchase that they TOLD me about the moment it happened. I will very likely be taking my business elsewhere entirely and never banking here again because of this complete failure, on Rockland Trust's part, to protect me and my financial security despite every indication and piece of evidence they had to do so.

Jack McMullen Some Thoughts on the way Citizens Bank Handled…read morea Recent Branch Incident in December 2022 I banked with Citizens (and its predecessor banks) in Burlington, Vermont and Cambridge, Massachusetts, the former for 27 years and the latter for over 40 years. For all of that time I had cordial relations at both locations and with the managers and tellers resident in the two branches I used in each city. Burlington branch is terrific. Central Square Cambridge has become another story. For most of my 40 years of patronage the branch served me well. I was a satisfied customer. Then late in 2022 the management and many of the tellers in that branch were changed over wholesale. They do not know their customer and apparently don't care to. They changed long standing practices which led to a heated dustup with one of the new tellers transferred from elsewhere (my fault for losing my temper with her and her fault for total inflexibility in insisting on rejecting a deposit containing a check deposited the old way for more than a decade). Ironically, after I left the branch I walked to the Portland Street branch nearby and deposited the rejected check (so resisted by that new teller) without incident. Then instead of asking for a meeting about the incident, the bank simply sent a pre-emptive letter closing my seven accounts, corporate and personal, blowing up my ability to operate and receive direct deposits (SSN check and other links). The letter said the decision was final, do not contact the bank. The letter gave 30 days grace but was sent to my Vermont office so only 10 days remained when I returned there from Cambridge. Needless to say when an action like this is taken the bank knows full well the disruptive effect it will have and doubtless intended that. It has taken hours upon hours to restore my ability to operate my business and personal accounts. Despite over four decades of fairly good experience with Citizens (and its predecessor banks) I cannot recommend a bank that acts in such a summarial manner and potential customers reading this report should not take the risk of banking there either. This is a very good Bank of America branch. I've sat down…read morewith their customer service representatives and they have helped me with questions that I had about some of the accounts that I have. They have also helped me open new accounts and made the process very easy every time. They always take the time to listen and they provide clear answers to all of my questions. They always have great advice regarding accounts. The bank tellers that work there are quite pleasant and there are usually at least two tellers working so if you are there to do something such as cash a check you'll be able to get in and out pretty fast. There are two ATM machines inside this branch just as you walk through the front door and they also have one drive thru ATM outside the bank towards the end of the parking lot. They also have a drive thru teller here if you prefer not to have to get out of the car to do a transaction with a teller. Definitely one of the best locations I've seen yet as far as customer service goes.
