We were looking for a tree service to trim our tree. We called 'trees for needs' for a free estimate. Carl came by on time. He was very professional. He discussed our tree with us considering our personal preferences and came up with a plan for our tree. Carl was very friendly and communicative he explained clearly and plainly what the best method would be for our tree. We had never had a tree trimmed before and we didn't know if he was giving us a good price. We called another tree service to get another estimate. The other tree service advertised that their prices could not be beat. However, the other tree service method for trimming our tree didn't sound good to us and they estimated the cost to trim our tree would be over $100 more than the estimate we got from 'trees for needs'. So we called 'trees for needs' and the next week they came by to trim our tree on time. They worked quickly and efficiently and were friendly and nice to my kids as they watched them work from the sliding glass door. They even granted my request to keep the wood chips (for compost and landscaping) and they gave me the extra wood chips they had from a job they had done earlier! Before they left they pulled me aside and pointed out that they had damaged the screen to our kitchen window while carrying branches out of the gate. Even though it wasn't a big deal and I probably never would have noticed if they didn't point it out, they brought it to my attention and immediately admitted fault. I thought it showed great integrity on their part and my Husband and I were very impressed. Kim from the office came to pick up the screen an hour later, re-screened it for us, and brought it back the same day. Our tree looks great! We will not have to trim it again for years! Kerry and Kory were very professional and communication was excellent throughout the process of removing one of our tall white pines. Andy provided the initial details of the process, including the company's insurance information so we were at ease about coverage if something went wrong. Nothing did, as their crew has a totally "safety" conscience work ethnic and took all the necessary precautions to protect the home owner's property as well as their professional crew. After the tree was removed, the stump was ground down to "our" satisfaction. They checked in with us so we knew what was going to happen and after, triple checked to see that we were totally happy with the results. I called Treas For Needs Monday morning and spoke with the office staff, Jennifer. She so patiently listened to my frustration about other services, and explained what they could do to help. I was highly impressed with the fact I would get on the arborist schedule the next day for my FREE estimate, nothing beats free. I recently made the painful decisions to remove a very overgrown evergreen tree from my tiny backyard. It was way too large for the space and had I called Trees for Needs 29 years ago to plant this tree ( first Christmas tree) I am sure Carl would have advised me to donate it instead to be planted in a more suitable environment. Anyway, the deed was done yesterday by a legendary, A-team crew with ease, competence, and compassion. They sensed how difficult this was for me and patiently gathered up all the fallen pine cones and clippings for me. The name is a little different but so is the experience. The issue was a very large mesquite about to eat the house. The estimator was a trained arborist who listened to our concerns and questions then provided his recommendations. The work crew was lead by a trained specialist who brought specific notes from the arborist. He confirmed the approach with us and proceeded to achieve exactly what was planned. They even brushed significant debris from the rood and cleaned the yard with blowers. In about 90 minutes the tree was perfect and the yard just as they found it. read more

I had a good experience with Trees for Needs...they responded quickly to my yelp message a week ago, stopped by my house early the next day to get me a quote and had my two problem trees resolved for me within a week. They were super responsive and right on time. When I got a couple of quotes they were right in line with the others, but they were very easy to connect with by phone and email and they did the work on a short schedule. Tree's for needs did my house. They showed up on time. They did a great job. The guys were very polite and did a very thorough job. I have artificial turf in my front yard where they trimmed my very large Palo Verde. When they were done cleaning up, my turf looked like brand new again. I will use these guys again. Trees For Needs was by far the most reasonably priced service provider for trimming trees. They did a great job trimming my huge pine tree in my front yard and cleaned up nicely afterwards.
